These are both great phones. For me, the 14 pro max, as beautiful as it is, I hated the heft. My husband was using the 12 pro max and wasn’t planning on upgrade so I passed my 14 pm to him and I got the pink 15 plus, which is perfect for me. It is a little choppy but not a deal breaker. I actually love it. My husband has no problem with the weight and needed a tougher phone. He has definitely noticed the higher refresh rate 😊. And he doesn’t notice the weight difference at all!

At the end 60 hz or 120 hz, if you don’t care about 120hz 15 plus is better because it has more hours of battery life

Had a 14 pro that dropped down to 85% health after a year, imo the 14 series is iffy cause you never know if you’ll get a good one or not.
Its nice to see that you are comparing newer iphones to older ones thanks for comparing in the end we have to think that either we buy last year model with superior build and extra telephoto lens with 120hz or new one with less camera and 60hz ❤
New one better battery life faster charging, better audio bigger mic cutout, better photo quality more camera features. Lighter weight. Only reason it doesn’t get 120 hz is because they want to push the 15 pro max but 15 plus is superior to 14 pro max.

@@danyah11 the 15s camera takes slightly higher quality pictures than the 14pro max and has more features when it comes to editing your photos. But honestly they are both great you can’t go wrong. I personally would go with the 15 because of the battery life and its weight but you’ll be missing 120 hz and always on display.

I just bought my wife the 15 plus. I have the 14 pro max. The 15 plus does have a smigen brighter display. The whites are definitely whiter on my wife's 15 plus.

15 plus could be connected to other devices (maybe 14 pro max too, but adapters cost a lot)

I can’t tell the difference in the refresh rate on phones, but on iPad I can tell this makes a massive difference and I can’t stand using 60 hz iPads.
the iphone 14 pro max is so heavy like a brick, although stainless steel is more scratch resistance, but we customers will buy protective cases for our expensive iphones anyway.
Other apart from the newer sensor and usbc on the 15 plus, maybe weight and battery, 14 pm is better

And since iPhones are all the same software wise, FOR ME the most sensible choice between the two based off of what I value is the 15 Plus.

Here in the Philippines, a lot of people who purchased the 15 series have a complaint about the battery health. It descends a lot faster. Also, heat issues.
That’s what my brother told me as well. He has a friend who works in selling iphone shops. The 15 models appear to be worthless in terms of price. He told me getting the 14 Pro Max is the best choice. I might get it.

Using 60hz is okay as long as you have not yet experienced 120hz. But when you're used to using 120hz and then you would go back to 60hz. Everything just gets slow 😅 Once you experience 120hz, 60hz will not be pleasing to use anymore 😅

Everyone raving ohh but the 14PM has a 120hz,but forgetting they will also be going back to lightning and that is preposterous in 2023. It brings a whole bunch of problems with it which will haunt you in the long run.
Usb isn’t that crazy it’s just been introduced and isn’t that bad of a thing, people can perfectly manage on lightning as most people can’t even afford the 15 series

The reason I would get the 15pro max also known as titanium. Is because USB-C has much more efficient bandwidth compared to the lightning.
As a matter of fact let’s just say usb-c would become a standard for televisions. You could use 1 usbc cable to connect to your service provider. 1 from your provider to a usb-c port instead of using a power cable or any other power supply. You could power an entire home entertainment system with 1 power plug that contains 3-6 usb-c instead of having to purchase a power strip.

I understand the differences well thank you very much. Yet I still bought the 15 Plus over the 14 PM. Why? Because it has 90% of what the 14 PM has. The added benefit is better battery life and its lighter weight. It also cost me $300-$400 less.

I have to disagree with you. I am using S23U and considering buying the 15 Plus. I know that the 15 plus doesn't have 120Hz, and its camera is inferior compared with my S23U.
