Why is nobody in the comments giving props to the older sister who postponed her schooling to be their caregiver while their dad got his affairs in order? It’s not easy to get back into school after time off, especially after everything she’s been through! Major major props to the older sister ❤️
I thank the older Sister too. Not everyone, family or not, will give up their own plans to help out their family. Apparently some of you aren’t paying much attention to society today.
@terri5757 She lived at home, too, and probably was not fit to study in college after her mum died. I'm sure her sisters were in their school, so she didn't care for them from Monday to Friday all day long. Esp as dad spent less and less time at his work as he delegated duties and brought in more staff. And of course, they went away on holidays, too. The whole family was in mourning.
I had a Down Syndromme Daughter [Cerise] She lived for 44 yrs. Then went to bed and died in her sleep. Miss her so much and her unconditional love Love to ❤❤your daughters😂😊
As a sibling to a sister with Down Syndrome, I want to express the joy I felt while watching this video. Unless you have lived the life, you can not truly appreciate having them as a part of your life. Every day brings laughter, hugs, and lessons of humbleness. What you and your family are doing for the girls is remarkable. As well as the future for other persons with life challenges. Thank you for striving and wanting to give a meaningful life to others, that otherwise would not have the opportunity. Please keep sending out videos or even a documentary on their achievements as they grow in their own confidence.
There's a hidden reward for parents of children with Down's syndrome, and that's the incredible love these innocent beings carry within them. Real beauty is inside that's what this documentary shows.
Wow. What a loving family. As a widowed father, you have done such an amazing job of raising 4 kids. Claudia is a credit as a big sister to Nikki & Emma. An inspiration to how so much love binds a family together. You are so right. They are your kids.
Ellen, I have two much younger siblings and decided at 18 to stay at home for university and help my parents with them. I was 18 at the school gates collecting my 5 yr old brother and 10 old sister after classes. Take them home, did homework, back in the car for my brothers soccer training, then pick mum up ftom work. Then if I had a night uni class back in the car then home to bed. If I didn't help my brother would have missed out playing soccer etc. You grow up faster but it's life.
Wow!!! the lady who shared her business knowledge with him to help Emma....this lady couldn't turn the other way. God put this man in her life to fulfill a purpose and she did! She will get blessings back in ten full.💖
Now this is a real man. Love compassionate joy full. Bless those girls they picked the right man to be their dad. Bless their sister for her putting her life on hold too. ❤❤❤❤❤
Like she said, they are her sisters, only selfish or priviledged people would expect anything less. Or people who have no idea what it is like to live with and support someone with special needs. It takes a village! Blessings to sis AND Dad, your love for your sisters/girls is so heartwarming. Aroha to you all 🙏🏽💞
@@leaisoufeauyoutubeno bc the sister was a child once to sacrificing so much and no child should have to take on the parent role and leave their own childhood behind while for the parents its their Duty!!! So its the dads Job just like it was the moms Hes doing a wonderful Job but the title threw me off.. „widow dad care for his daughters“ .. like what else is he supposed to do?? Abandon them bc his wife died🙄 he is their parent as well so thats not optional.. you would never see a title called „single mom/ widow mom caring for her daughters“ bc thats expected from a mother
Well it is not. It's about the Father who lost is wife yet found the strength to continue on in order to raise his beautiful children in a beautiful way. Cannot image how hard it was for him to continue on with life after the devastating loss of his wife. In life we have to make hard decisions and sacrifices but when it's done at the benefit of another person, nothing compares to that. I have degrees, a home, a great job, etc but nothing is as satisfying as being a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister. Family is everything. Well done Dad for finding a way. Well done for building your girls confidence & independence. To raise selfless human beings in a world that is all me, me, me is incredible & a testament to your character. These are beautiful, beautiful girls. Such a wonderful family.
As he said, she graced him with a year whilst they dealt with the loss of his wife and their mother. Shr lived at home, too. He had been working 80 hours per week and had to delegate gradually so that he could become a full time carer and focus on the children. She was happy to wait out that year and doesn't regret one moment.
This is what family is about. Everyone is important. Dad obviously gives his all for his family & the daughter reciprocated, because of her parents modeling that behavior. Yes she deserves a big kudos too! Must have been the hardest year after losing mom. ❤
To the dad; "Nothing touches us that has not been sanctioned by the Lord". He chose this assignment for you and you've risen to the challenge. Love from South Africa
I just watched this most beautiful story of the most precious love of a father to his children. The love he gives to these two Down Syndrome daughters is incredible and so touching to see! These two girls are obviously very loved and well taken care of by a man who lost his beloved wife, and has dedicated his life to them. I pray his business flourishes. May God bless him!
such a beautiful story. I love this dad and his love for his daughters. He is a bright and shining example of how a parent should care for their children, disabled or not. Emma and Nikki's sister is a jewel as well. i loved her story about taking the girls to a concert. i would love to see an update on the candle business.
You can tell Emma needs constant comfort and reassurance by her wanting to hug all the time ❤️…..and Nicki’s bubbly personality is just everything….my son is autistic and a combination of both….very lovey but sooooo funny…..truly a blessing ❤️
Heart warming. I go through this as well with my son he had a stroke last year at age 30 and this man is a mirror of me and my thoughts. So proud of you dad.
This Dad is doing an amazing job!! Claudia is a wonderful sister! She's so understanding and accepting of her sisters with down syndrome. You can see all the love between the three sisters. You can also see the love between Emma and Nikki and with their Dad. It's true what Sarah Langford said about the challenge of people with disabilities getting jobs. I was a job coach and finding people with disabilities jobs was my biggest challenge. It's sad, people with disabilities can work and they are the most dedicated workers. People with disabilities go to work each day without taking days off. But it's still hard for people with disabilities like autism or down syndrome to get a job. The Dad's concern about what will happen to Emma and Nikki when he passes, is alot of parents concerns with there children who have disabilities.
Beautiful story. I am touched. Down syndrome is not a contagious disease. I don't know why some nasty people think it is. I always it takes a special kind of person to look after these precious people. God bless them!!
We should be more comfortable with the importance of our children and adults with Down Syndrome its very important to get this message across to be more respectful and kind to anyone who has different abilities to learn and achieve their potential
Downs syndrome children have such pure loving hearts and souls, they teach us how to be better. Always wishing them happiness and success in everything they do. Love Patricia UK 🇬🇧 xxxxxx
I found this absolutely amazing l was feeling sorry for myself my husband has stage four cancer and I was really struggling and then I came across this on utube and what an absolutely amazing family you all are. God bless you all and may life treat you kindly going forward love and best wishes all the way from 🇬🇧 uk.
I grew up with a down syndrome aunt (Mary)whom my mom raised since she was two, I considered her my sister. Always very happy, but if u got her mad. She let u know she was not happy. The girls are beautiful.
He is doing a grand job of raising his beautiful young ladies. I know they will have a bright future ahead of them with some help from there older siblings or friends!
Such an inspiring story. Brought a tear to my eye when it showed the tattoo the dad got put on his chest after his wife died. 'Positive' tattoo. So that he would be forced to look at it in the mirror each morning and be uplifted, while he was struggling to hold his family together after such a tragedy. He was able to keep his entire family 'positive'.
You are an incredible man that has made sure that a disability doesn’t mean you are held back when it involves your children and they can have that future with what you are teaching them. Your oldest daughter did what she needed to do for you to do what you are now doing speaks volumes for the man and father you are. You are very blessed.

I’m from Nicaragua and there’s a restaurant in Granada and all the staff are blind and mute, it was created by a darling man from Spain, who tough the children how valuable they are. I love your dream of employing children with Down syndrome in the future, they have a lot to offer.
God has truly gifted you with wonderful, special angels! I was especially touched by Claudia's genuine love for her family, as she gave her dad some time to settle things. GOD BLESS THIS WONDERFUL FAMILY!👼Mom is surely smiling down on all of you.

A one in a trillion Dad , shows there's still some great men out there. In my country, there's many siblings that give up their dreams to help take care of their other siblings. My mom took care of her two younger sisters after their mother passed away. My mom was only eight years old. What I find a little odd, I barely saw the sister who gave up her year of school, and I don't remember seeing the fourth child. All the focus is on the two children with Dong syndrome, looks like the other two are being neglected.

Probably because he's a man and she's a woman
People are. But she willingly did too. Many older siblings take on roles like this naturally.
Did you thank her and if so then that means somebody did thank her …you did ❤
I thank the older Sister too. Not everyone, family or not, will give up their own plans to help out their family. Apparently some of you aren’t paying much attention to society today.

I couldn’t agree more!!!
This man is the essence of a man a dad an incredible person, I know you are ONE in a Billion!
Bless you sir!
Also I have to say same to their sister who postponed her education and life to help with care!! You are amazing and One in a Billion also!
Great father. It takes more than just money to live a happy life. He is teaching them to work and have self confidence.

@@sharinaross1865 no. maybe they both did. Why does it matter?
Claudia is an angel. But at 17, looking after Emma and Nikki for the most basic parts for a year, that did make her more prepared for the adult world.
Agreed. My first thought was “if his oldest child was male, would be have asked for this?”
Nikki ❤
My sister got something your kids got some people do understand her it makes me sad 😢
