It's extremely good at fighting, in fact it can be claimed to be the ultimate martial art, and the people who use it have usually mastered other styles first as a preparation for the more sophisticated techniques of Tai Chi Chuan. Most ordinary people who do Tai Chi are performing it for low-level health benefits, similar to something like ballroom dancing. Once you have learned how to build and circulate Qi it becomes something completely different.

Your entire civilisation, customs and way of thinking are so much different than ours. People are so uneducated about China in the west. That's wushu, not taichi. People gonna damage their knees following that form.
I discussed this with Master Sun and she emphasized that proper form is essential for protecting your knees from injury.
