Definitely should check out their most recent album, A Moon Shaped Pool.
Some of the songs were written during the recordings of previous albums, with the most notable being True Love Waits, which was written back in 1995, 21 years before it got a finalised released, where it transformed from a guitar piece to what it is on the album. It is also more emotional as the album was made after Thom Yorke divorced with hia then wife, who passed away a few months after the album's release. This, and many other factors makes this their saddest album, and is also their most beautiful album.
    Its a 10/10 for me.

Pyramid Song partially refers to the time signature changes of the song, it's two bars of 3/4, then a bar of 4/4, then back to two bars of 3/4. The bars of 3 are the 4 triangles that make up the top of a pyramid, and the bar of 4 is the pyramid's square base. When I found it out it blew mind, and it's swung which isn't apparent until the drums come in. Jist adds an additional layer to one of Radiohead's best songs

Early performances of it had it titled as Egyptian Song before they settled on Pyramid Song.

Pyramid Song is my favorite from Radiohead along with I Promise, Creep, Karma Police, all of Kid A, and a few others.
Pyramid Song is the ultimate "I'm stoned, let me feel insignificant and chill" song for me in rare occasions when I get high

Spinning plates is so cool, he sang it backwards, and then reversed himself singing it backwards so the words read as normal, honestly one of my favourite songs of theirs. Piano version is beautiful

With the times is so notorious than Kid A and Amnesiac were recorded together. It's a great album and one of the most beloved by the fans, specially the final songs.

Also isn’t pyramid song about a dream Thom had?

I suspect Morning Bell/Amnesiac is just an alternative version of the song off Kid A. When making Kid A they opted for the version you heard there. But liking the alternative version as well, they released that one on Amnesiac and added "/Amnesiac" to the end to make it easy to differentiate between versions. I could be wrong though.

I get what you mean by the album feeling cohesive but not at the same time. Thom actually said this himself perfectly: “We had this whole thing about Amnesiac being like getting into someone's attic, opening the old dusty chest and finding their notes from a journey that they'd been on. There's a story but no literal plot, so you have to keep picking out fragments. You know something really important has happened to this person that's ended up completely changing them but you're never told exactly what it is”. Each song was like a different fragment from these cryptic notes found in an dusty old chest tucked away in a dark attic. The urgency of their unknown message is almost crying out for attention yet it had been forgotten. Love this album.

Always enjoy your reactions to Radiohead - happily surprised by how much you liked Amnesiac first time, took me years to appreciate it properly :)
Keep going with all their albums - just stick with the Basement version of The King of Limbs - you will find somethings great in all of them

Love your reactions. You HAVE to check out The Smile, Thom and Jonny's side project. They've 2 albums out now, AMAZING stuff. Be well. :) Friendly note, an on body mic and an in video sound rather than the audio of the song in the room picked up by the mic of your computer isn't as good. Just a thought. I say it because on songs like 'Ship', it's a little hard to hear your voice over the song at times.

My third favorite album from the band. Some might find the lack of cohesion to be a negative, but that's what makes it so cool to me. It feels like a series of bizarre dreams.
    Fun facts:
    - Like Spinning Plates was built off of a reversed electronic demo of the song I Will, which later appeared as an acoustic track on Hail To The Thief. Thom recorded his voice backwards, mimicked how the backwards voice sounded, then rerecorded his voice so it was backwards but forwards. The lyrics are about how men in power send the common folk to die in pointless wars.
    - Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors was originally an electronic rendition of the song True Love Waits, which was later finished as a piano ballad on A Moon Shaped Pool. You can listen to what the electronic version sounds like on the Kid Amnesiae double album.
    - Pyramid Song is in 4/4 time but the piano part has a neat rhythm (3-3-4-3-3) which is kinda like a pyramid.
    - The song Knives Out was the inspiration for the title of the film of the same name directed by Rian Johnson (who's a big Radiohead fan). It's about cannibalism.
    - Life In A Glasshouse was first worked on in the sessions for OK Computer and later was released on Amnesiac.

      No problem broski.
I say it's my third favorite because In Rainbows and A Moon Shaped Pool hit harder for me.
Oh and the first track is "Packed Like Sardines in a Crushed Tin Box"

Interesting! This album usually gets pushed aside as just a Kid A b-sides record, but it does have its fans and you seem to be one of them. At this point, would you say it’s on the same level as Kid A?

Aw, TKOL isn't too bad. It doesn't hold up compared to a lot of their discography, but if any other band had released it it'd be one of the best albums in their catalogue

The King of Limbs led to The King of Limbs From the Basement to exist. I'd say that's enough to *not* ignore The King of Limbs.
