I like the idea of fighting. At first I thought it was going to be like arena fighting like in JPOG but it’s going to be more like what we see in Planet Zoo. Like if I have a trike herd, and when breeding is finally in, and I have a dominant male whose son has grown up and is challenging him, it can help players decide if they need to sell the instigator. The one that started the fight.
I've understood it slightly differently, meaning that all individuals in a group might be able to move up ranks. And depending on their sociability that might come with some physical confrontation. It opens up the door to speculative behaviour and showcasing that the biggest males are not always the bosses
Looking at the updated roadmap we have 5 confirmed diet types for animals: Carnivores (animals that eat meat) Herbivores (animals that eat plants) Insectivores (animals that eat insects) Frugivores (animals that eat fruits) Piscivores (animals that eat fish)
I know they wanna make it as perfect as they can but honestly, the sooner they get ontogeny, growth and babies out, the better. That's what interested ME in this game all those years ago, a lot of people want it. So the sooner it's out, the more people will be interested in the game.
Yeah, I wonder what it means that the FIRST iteration of ontogeny will be in. Perhaps not all species will be covered just yet, but it's hard to say how much work is needed for that. In the Discord they said we shouldn't expect Update 14 before March/April
