I am so jealous that you have the Mass Effect 1 collector's edition. It is so damn expensive now. I jumped on the ME bandwagon way too late (2011) to get it for anything lower than $400, but I have ME2 and ME3 CE at least (and the Platinum Hits version of ME1 may as well be a CE with all the content it has.) I am also extremely happy to hear you call FemShep the TRUE main character of Mass Effect, I will be your best internet friend for life because of that! Hahaha If you're looking for any cheap CE/LE games, Record of Agarest War Zero was like $25 on amazon not too long ago. Comes with two decks of cards in a velvet box with the soundtrack, art book/guide, and of course the game.
So jealous of your AC Special Editions! I only got into the series when Ubisoft was getting ready to release AC Revelations, so I only got to collecting the special editions from then onwards :(
I used to buy a lot of collector's editions and all that stuff but really slowed down on that. The Bioshock 2 one is probably my favorite as well. Not just because of the awesome vinyl but the artbook as well. It was probably the best artbook ever included in a special edition. PS: I'm collecting for the PS3 first and only have a couple 360 games and the only special edition I have there is the Perfect Dark Zero and I also have the art 8/9 :o
I work on a printer. The mistake in the manual of Oblivion probably was done in series, and is ridiculous, no serious printer would accept that. (sorry my bad english I'm from Brazil)
But anyways, great vid, must have spend lot of money for those all those special editions ;D Though I like to collect games myself, I only buy the CE's I really find cool or for the games Im really looking forward to, which really doesnt happent that often...and I simply couldnt afford to buy many CE's atleast at full price anyway. Halo Reach Legendary Edition I was actually lucky to get at 80e or something, I think it was 150e at launch.
Nice video, I imagine lugging all of the editions into and out of the frame was a bit of a struggle.. But the efforts are appreciated. Have you played Alone In the Dark at all? It's rough, but introduces some unique gameplay mechanics. Give it a chance off of a cheap used regular edition if not!
It was. I had everything nicely on my shelves, and it was quite a chore to put them back in an order that looks good. :) I've played AitD a few minutes. Maybe it was okay back in the day, but just so many better games out these days.

Sadly don't have room to display them, gotta keep them inside the boxes. I do have Titanfall CE preordered, but I'm not 100% sure I'll pick it up... probably. :)
Ya have it preordered too!, prob going to cut back on the CE unless its a game super excited for . Have Infamous second son for ps4 preordered too. Picking up PS4 tomorrow!. Got the xbox one and am enjoying the system, it sucked that MS pulled back on the launch countries ;(

Well, I did include Red Dead Redemption, which was that kind of game. But that was a special version available straight from launch, so it was a distinct "special edition".

Starve Lord They're pretty much sold in dedicated game stores these days (at least in my country), so just contact one in your neighborhood and reserve a copy in advance.
I didn’t know you could choose a gender for sheperd in mass effect. So the female version I don’t really see as sheperd. You know because I didn’t know she existed.

finngamer These are pretty expensive and rare collector's editions, I'm pretty sure you will still get many views. You can just call them "classic unboxings" or something like that :)

Yeah, like any collector, I do have more games than I could ever play (properly).But I have played most "great" games when they came out, and sometimes I do start an older game that I've never played and finish it. I don't feel like the quality of newer games has done anything to my retro passion.

Se olisi oikeasti harvinainen mutta hintakin on kyllä sen mukainen, vaan 1000kpl tehty. Keräilen itekkin pelejä, tosin vaan xbox 360 pelejä ja nykyään ps4 pelejä. Xbox one lähes jokaisessa vertailussa tuppaa jäämään ps4:lle toiseksi niin päätin vaihtaa konsolia, mutta iteltääkin löytyy suurin osa näistä tällä videolla olevista :) Enimmäkseen ebaysta tullu hommattua noita joita ei suomesta ole kerkinyt ostamaan. Gamestopista en varaile ellei ole sopuu hinnoissa koska usein ebaysta voi saada jopa halvemmalla näitä collector's editioneja, kuten esim tuo care package olisi maksanut turun gamestopissa 220e joskus aikoinaan kun tilasin sen ebaysta 170e. Muutenkin tuppaavat loppumaan todella nopeasti nuo collectors/special/limited yms editionit suomesta. Ultimate loot chestin varasin joskus väh puolivuotta ennen julkaisua verkkokaupasta mutta muistaakseni ne ei koskaan saanu sitä varastoon ni oli pakko tilata ebaysta, taisin saada 150e ja suomessa se olisin ollut sen 200e :D Ihmettelen miten tuo deus ex collectors edition ei ole ebayssa kuin 60e vaikka niitä on tehty vain 20 000 kpl :o

Joo katoin tuota ressan nahkatakki settiä itsekkin mutta en sitte millään raaskinut ostaa :D Tuo dead space kyllä kiinnostaisi ihan älyttömästi napata tuolta ebaysta. 2 kpl myynnissä: toinen avattu reilu 500e, toinen avaamaton ja muoveissa 800e :/ hinta on alytön mutta tosiaan vaan ja ainoastaan 1000 kpl tehty, täydentäisi kokoelmaa mukavasti :D mutta anyway, kadehdittava kokoelma sulla ! kanavan oonki tilannu jo pari vuotta sitten ja välillä aikasemminki kyselly sulta jotain. Arvostan että jaksat vastailla kaikkeen typerään :D
I just never understood the fascination of Bioshock, for me Rapture didnt hit nearly as hard as it did for many other people. Its still good game, but vastly overrated, especially after seeing 2 of the 3 possible endings I just couldnt believe that some ppl think that it's one of the best games of the generation....but perhaps im then one of those ppl who will like Infinite more (still havent played and neither Bioshock 2), atleast it's flying city looks more interesting for me and ofcourse then there is Elizabeth ;D

Deathsmiles II isn't region free, it was just something I picked while I was visiting Japan, I thought I'd get it even though I can't play it.

I think most are quite cheap these days. Only some have held their value.

Yeah, most of my shmups are region free, but I think Deathsmiles II and Ketsui are the only ones that are not.
