Why does Samsung continue to raise prices while the other Android competitors barely do so?
Yet they barely change the hardware apart from the cameras
Samsung is being lazy in relying on AI to sell smartphones where in my opinion hardware is more important.
Because they feel comfortable at the top (of Android phones at least).

They raise prices, I buy a year later when the price goes down. And now with 7 years software updates it's totally worth it. And if not there's the One Plus which is a really great phone. That's my second preference and , at least, those guys give you a charger.

Now Samsung should use Snapdragon X Elite on the Galaxy Tab S10 series, and Dimensity 9400 (similar to Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 but cheaper) on the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series.

I would want that, but dont forget the 8 Gen 4 is likely to match the M2 or M3 in performance on its own due to the Oryon cores. So either way, huge win

Thank God old Samsung flagships are still very good. The S23 ultra is still appealing with it's great battery life, curved display and superb cameras. The price hikes we can just skip the S25 ultra

Samsung's already lost market share in the foldables if they continue at this rate with price increase and no noticeable improvement in hardware for the S25 other than AI they will be losing market share there as well.

They have the best hardware but they dont have the optimization of their own software done properly from UI to apps and more including A.I compared to Apple and Apple Intelligence with their Ecosystem

@tedishijaku8096 Why do you care about AI? It's nothing but gimmicks, and I personally barely use the feature outside the keyboard to send emails, proofread, and check tone/grammar. That is the extent of the use outside of maybe rarely using Circle to search. The way they market it is a substitute for actual innovation and is more justification for laziness. Look at the S24 Ultra dropping from 10x to half the focal length only to use "AI" to end up back at square one with arguably worse results with the very same gimmicky software.
I REALLY hope the Galaxy S25 and S25+ have new cameras. The sensors are smaller than my Pixel 7 so not worth an upgrade unless they finally change the sensors.

i just hope one day samsung pays full attention to their software animations. They seem to care to much about speed, to a point where the speed overtakes the animation and makes the phone like a choppy kind of fast. With ONE UI 6, they seem to finally give us better app opening animations, but some things like the going back, scrolling, and transitioning between apps dont feel very fluid. They have a 120hz display, but you cannot get the most out of it since the software animations dont feel very complete. Samsung is almost there. I hope all of that becomes fixed with Android 15
If you want animations get Pixel or even Hyper. One UI is very bloated and not well optimized

I hope they don't listen to you. I used my misses 15 pro Max and it feels really slow in comparison to my note 20 ultra exynos.
@iva00005 that's what I'm talkin abt. Apple prioritized animation quality over transition speed to make their UI look more fluid. I actually think it looks really nice and gives the phone a good premium feel. I would rather have a phone that's slightly a few milliseconds slower because it wants to present smooth and fluid animations between my tasks. Makes the phone feel more premium.
Tbh Samsung seems to want to be in the middle. They now seem to want their animations a little slower than usual but still faster than iOS animations. I prefer their quick animations. It can be smooth, you just couldn't distinguish the difference between fluidity and animation speed. Samsung generally struggles to make their animations fluid, even when they're slower. If you still really want slower animations then enable developer options and tweak animation speeds from there.

50mp on ultrawide and telephoto sounds great! I hope they improve on the clarity of photos at low light tho.. I've taken some portraits for my friend and grain is very visible
50 mp 3x can work for 9x zoom so bring back 10X telephoto lens
S23 lineup is still seems the sweet spot. no reason to upgrade my s23 plus

If Pixels had a Good Lock/Good Guardian suite-like thing, maybe I'd switch to one.
But then there is Bixby (love it or hate it),I use it.
I rarely touch Google Gemini and prefer using Co-Pilot/Bing.
Gemini is a part of Google Messages, and that's the only time it gets used.
With 7 years of software updates on the S24 Ultra, upgrading seems unreasonable, & unnecessary. Add to that price hikes, and you'll see me holding on to this phone even longer.

Just ordered a SD S24 online.
Glad to see there are not many changes especially for the camera.
All can be fixed by updates then.
The "AI" battery save also can be implemented in the S24 or older.
Think Samsung should have definitely upgrade the camera performance on this one to keep people buying it. Think most people will stick to their S22/S23/S24 instead now.

This is the thing buying brand new Samsung devices is that they depreciate so fast they lose value when reselling. I do like the idea of SD all across the globe again like they did with the S23 series

50MP is not necessarily bad, if it is a new sensor. And I'm happy to pay a 100 bucks more for snapdragon. Can't wait for the S25+

Phone sensors in the competitive market are WAY too small. You're cramming millions of extra pixels on a sensor that is inefficiently capturing light and relying soley on processing to make it serviceable. It's backwards.
samsung is doing wierd stuff right now, from copying apple suddenly to having the wierdest desicions with their hardware. they need a new ceo which has a serious plan and not just solutions for the upcoming problems

I purchased the nubia z60 ultra instead of the s24. I'll definitely consider the z70 too at these ridiculous prices.
Samsung needs to work on Camera and OS fluidity now. Phone design, hardware are capable enough and don't need changes in these departments

The Ultra will possibly start at $1,400? 😮 They have completely lost their minds. That phone better come with 144hz display, clear 100 times zoom photos, better video quality and battery life than iPhones, seamless integration with Google Assistant on Galaxy Watch and Buds, etc….

Like they did with s23 series all of them were snapdragon around the world so Samsung realised the mistake they did this year with s24 and s24 plus.

You should go for the S25 since it's coming out soon. If you're planning to keep your phone for a few years, it's worth getting the latest model. There might not be huge differences, but if you can wait until January, it's better to get the S25.
@@TechTalkTV basically in tech is you can always wait for the newer model if you can. And even if the newer model isn't a lot different just get the older one when the newer one comes out and it will be a lot cheaper.
Even if the ai battery increase of 10% is true imagine what they could push battery life to if they increased the battery size as well.

And let me tell you i couldn't stand how they started after 2020 selling plastic "flagship" phones again. This is where they lost me but i hold on strong believing they would improve
Basically they didn't improve anything and all they showed was just "flagship" specs on paper but on day to day use everything was mediocre, even hardware components
And don't get me started with their software optimization and their ONE UI
It's a total disaster, they can't even compete to the smoothness, polished UI of Pixel or Xiaomi

Check Apple and their ecosystem, their A.i and how amazing their vision seems when it comes to the usage of it. I am leaned into android because of the freedom it gives but damn i hate how samsung with all these features can't do anything right, even their prices are so damn expensive compared to Apple
