"Louisiana public schools are now required to display the Ten Commandments in all classrooms, after Republican Gov. Jeff Landry signed the requirement into law Wednesday.
House Bill 71, approved by state lawmakers last month, mandates that a poster-size display of the Ten Commandments with “large, easily readable font” be in every classroom at schools that receive state funding, from kindergarten through the university level."

Louisiana is ranked 49 out of 50 in education in the US. I don’t think the Ten Commandments being posted in classrooms really should be their focus.
Yeah and Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem. Guess the world should have cast him off to your measure. Satan was the Highest Angel in heaven and he fell like a lughtening bolt because of his pride. The most evil people can be very Intelligent but have no Wisdom at all. There is a video of a preacher, Shane Vaughn, admitting he worships Trump. There is a new song out by Christian artis Natasha Owens called "the chosen one" that is all about praising Trump as the chosen one, which by the way there is also video of Trump claiming to be the chosen one. Trump loyalist such as Michael flynn, the pillow guy, and Roger Stone went on a "Reawaken America tour" where they went around baptizing people in the name of Trump. One guy made a video of himself where he said he was baptizing himself in the name of Trump. A man in India built a Shrine of Trump and him a some others believe Trump was the messiah.
I'm sorry, everyone of the people that pretend as if Trump does no wrong and that he is "our only hope" to "save America" are in part worshipping him whether they admit it or not.

I am a Christian but I don’t like the idea to force your views on others especially children. There are different kinds of Christian groups so it will not sit well with everyone. I propose instead of the 10 Commandments being forced upon children in Louisiana, we instead place these on the walls of the school classrooms:

If The 10 Commandments can be posted in Louisiana schools, does that mean The 5 Pillars Of Islam or The 4 Caste Levels Of Hinduism can also be posted in the schools? The U.S. Constitution states the government can't favor 1 religion over any other, so if a non-Christian student or teacher in Louisiana wanted to post their religious doctrine or rules upon the classroom walls they could thanks to this.
Also the Four Noble Truths of Buddhism should be posted as well.

The first commandment is - "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." And that is the goal - outlawing every other religion (and atheism). The open question is - which flavor of Christianity will become the dominant one? Pentecostal? Episcopalian? Catholic? Seventh day Adventist? Methodist? Baptist? I attended school in Louisiana from the late 70's to the early 90's. I remember our church praying for our safety and success in school at the start of the school year, early in the mornings before school, on Sundays for the school week, and at the end of the school year for final exams and for the graduates. We had a moment of silence each morning prior to the pledge of alleigance for individual prayers that we learned at home and at church. The Republicans should be ashamed of themselves for playing religion as a hustle! They have defunded public education in Louisiana to the point that a lot of students can't read at their grade level and many middle and high school students can't read on a 5th grade level which most newspapers and magazines are written at the 5th grade level so many of these students wouldn't be able to read the Ten Commandments even if they wanted to b/c these same Republicans in the Louisiana Legislature have cut the funding for public education ever chance they get! SMH!!!
In Texas, we prayed every single day before school and in the cafeteria before meals and during every school event in the auditorium and before every sporting event and before our pizza meal if we won. And if a girl got pregnant without being married, she was forced to leave school immediately & could not return. I’m 63 so that was in the 60s all the way up to 1979. Also in choir we sang almost exclusively Christian religious music.

Ok so here's the story, The Lord gave Moses the 10 Commandments to give to the People. Moses and The People were the Jewish People. Maybe they should play the movie once a year like it used to be because these pseudo Christians have not knowledge of the scriptures that they claim to follow.
