Another awesome video! Nothing like a shiny transmission and the LSD FTW. Sucks I’ll be missing out on that track day and I’ve never been to streets of Willow either… Hopefully one of these days Those break-in procedures though . Ahhhhh😅
Thanks bro! This set up runs about 2500 here in Cali. I went with 1.5 way LSD + stock B16a engine and intake manifold because it is the same spec as the One Make Race N1 Civics👍
Hey @boomboomtisk. I noticed you dont have a power steering pump on your ek. I was wondering how hard it is driving around the track with no power steering.
I’m not a track guy, but I have a 98 ek hatch cx like him. So still no power steering as well. On the road and Corning at the touge feels honestly not bad. It’s not as bad as you think. Just very slow driving like parking is a Painnn. But what I do like about not having power steering is the road feel I get, because there’s no assistance from PS.
Hey what’s up man, driving on track without PS is definitely doable but it can be harder to make quick corrections. EK’s also have relatively slow ratio steering racks and can feel difficult on courses with tighter transitions. The worst of it is when you’re pulling out of the paddocks with your aired down 200tw tires at slow speeds😂 With that being said though it’s totally doable to run without PS at a track day, especially if you’re already used to driving without it on the street💪
@ ahh. Good to know. I’m currently building a k24a EK right now with a manual eg rack so i was either thinking of just leaving it as is or getting an electric power steering from a prius to make it easier to drive on the track. Thanks for the input. Really appreciate it. 👍🏽
@@o6fade800 oh okay. I just noticed that the ek steers kinda slow on tight turns so it kinda sucks with no power steering. Im still getting used to driving mine cuz i have a manual eg rack on my ek.
Manual EG rack is a bit quicker than the manual EK so that should help some. PS racks are even quicker ratios, might be worth considering a properly de-powered one
You know it's a true Honda when the check engine light is on 💯🔥💯🔥💯🔥💯😎👍
*checks engine* still there😂

My dizzy had that red dust in it when it left my stranded almost 2 hours from my house. I'd change the dizzy before it stops working like mine did

Does the break in process also goes for the same if you have the M factory Helical LSD? I don't think mine was ever broken in.
I think it only applies to a clutch type LSD
what ecu ecm you using
Chipped P28 ECU with a P2T (b16a2) base map
What rear bar is that ?
Autopower Race Roll bar and a Cusco rear strut bar
@ ops I mean rear bumper bar haha
What is a silencer? 😂 I've never heard of one.
