Marty was not only a vocalist supreme, but a wonderful, wonderful songwriter. Not only could he sing any kind of song, but he could also write them as well. A massive talent, the likes of we'll never see or hear again.
Oh my goodness this is the first time I’ve heard this side of the love story. I’m in tears! I grew up listening to El Paso but did not realise there was a song about Feleena’s side of the story. I will have to look out for the third part of this story. .
Hello, I loved the video and your reaction! :) just wanted to clarify that at the end of the song Feleena kills herself out of grief and after her death, Marty is explaining that you can hear their ghosts, strolling El Paso for all eternity in the afterlife. Amazing bittersweet story!
You did the first song "El Paso" a few months ago. "Feleena (From El Paso) is the 2nd part sequel of the story & there is a 3rd part called "El Paso City". Marty Robbins intended to do one more sequel “The Mystery Of Old El Paso" but he died in late 1982 before he could finish writing the final song. Marty Robbins, was an American singer, songwriter, actor, multi-instrumentalist & NASCAR racing driver. Robbins was one of the most popular and successful country & western singers for nearly five decades 40's-80's. He had so many hits such as "Singing The Blues", "Devil Woman", "A White Sport Coat", "The Story of My Life", "Don't Worry", "Big Iron", "Knee Deep In The Blues", "Honkytonk Man", "Don't Worry 'Bout Me", "My Woman, My Woman, My Wife" etc.
Thank you so much, Fay, this was an outstanding reaction by you! I can't wait for you to listen to El Paso City! So here's to that one and here's to your next one as well! 🙏😊💜

Grew up with this Marty. Thanks for playing. BTW he also raced in NASCAR too! Really talented man!
They both died, but their spirits are alive together in heaven.

I get ya honey on the timing being off. Like the next day being a long time. Still love the songs.
Feleena is a true Ride or Die chick
