your video is excellent and well detailed with hex/Torx and Torque Values. I strongly recommend to add a correction on the missing OEM handle bar weight piece as mentioned by Philippe Boucaut. Just to prevent watchers from making the mistake in case they don't read the comments. My 2 cents.
@@PacMoto seriously I searched and watched all TH-cam Barkbusters installation guides for the GS 1250 and also watched the ones installed on other brands, yours is the only one mentioning torque and bits size. I installed mine flawlessly today thanks to your Video. So thank you again from Canada. !! I would also recommend to check the left and right cable clearance under the handlebars before final tightening. I turned the handlebar to its max turn right and left to ensure min clearance ( not touching the tank) and then adjusted the barkbuster hand guard accordingly. It looks awesome on the bike. Wish I can share a picture of it 😊. I like your videos and your how to !! Keep them coming. Cheers.
🙁 Sorry it is wrong , you forgot to use the original end bar (the metal black piece), where you insert the Barkbuster spacer and use the screw provided. Check other videos to understand what you are missing
I’ve just finish installing my hand guards….Looks really nice & level but when I fully turn to the left or right I’m hitting the windshield….what should I do to fix this issue….Don’t want to take them off….thanks in advance…..
The very first step was wrong--the entire mirror stalk comes off ALONG WITH the mirror mounting point. But I assume you know that now. Don't feel bad, the last two install videos I watched made the same mistake.
I use the black original bar ends, the original inserts, then the spacers from the hand guard kit…I have a GSA by the way…..
Okay, good. Thanks for watching.

Thank you Emzee. I’ll add it to the video notes.

Good catch. Yeah I made that change but didn’t update the video. I need to post an update for those watching. Thanks for the comment!

Sounds like they are turned up too high??

I've installed Barkbusters numerous times on BMW R1200/1250s and never needed to remove the mirror mounting point. Thanks for your feedback!
