How to make a seamless pattern or texture brush in Procreate for your fantasy map or other projects. This time I am showing you how I created the shoreline squiggle effects for the sea/coastline/island area on a fantasy map. This map is from the Healer Series of books written by Maria V. Snyder.
I share step by step, the full process of creating the brush from sketch to the finalised product. Easy to follow for beginners in digital art or in Procreate.
Adding nice patterns and textures to your artwork's background can change the look of your final piece!

When drawing the lines for the brush, why not make that many lines to begin with. Instead fo duplcating so many times.

This is to ensure the lines are repeating seamlessly horizontally and vertically, so you can draw any length/width with it without seeing the "seam" of the design on your map.
