Thank you for your time and effort explaining this! I only just receives my Honeycomb yoke and throttle and am setting them up. 1st time flying (a twin engine barron) the trim wheel seems to do little to nothing and by default the yoke when centered was pushing the nose of the plane down into a death dive. Thanks again for helping with your knowledge and I subscribed, want to see more of your videos!
Excellent video - thank you. Missing the function "idle reverse" as sometimes you want idle reverse on roll-out and use Autobrakes/manual brakes only; aircraft LW is very low, long runway etc ..... so ..... how would one config/assign that? In particular for my B744F. Cheers
When I set the mixture using axis 1 -100-to 100 no matter how I do it (start mixture forward and pull back or vice versa) it results in it set backwards to the lever. Even with just 1 movement (no return movement),same result. Can not click "reverse".
Surely you'd want to use the elevator trim axis for the trim wheel rather than "trim up" and "trim down"? If you use those you're just emulating digital keypresses on an axis.
@@wallyrodaviation The problem I’m having with the Bravo trim wheel is that it’s just too slow for C172 type aircraft. Any way to speed up the nose down/up trim?
I have done as you have described to assign the trim wheel on the Honecomb Bravo, but my trim will not budge. I can only trim with the electric trim button on the yoke. Any idea?
I thought your instructions were perfect. Thank you. I have one question for you. When you start to configure the setup for an airplane, do you start with a clean slate? Meaning there is no other bindings setup. I just can't seem to get it right. Rich J
On the bravo quadrant, no. If you want levers that move with the sim, you’ll have to look for a “motorized throttle” quadrant. I do warn you though, that these units cost much more.
On the 4 engine setup, the program won't recognize the throttle #3 reverse thruster when I flip it back, nothing appears on the scan screen. I've swapped out a functioning switch with #3 and eliminated that it was the actual switch itself. All the reverse thrust levers are in working order. Could it be something in the bravo unit itself or just a software glitch? Frustrating.
Hi wonder if you can help . I just got my Bravo Throttle & have problem with the lights not working have installed the latest drivers for it in the right folder for game, but still not working my the levers work & light up when moving in the set up but Buttons don't display light function when testing ? is my control Broken ?
It moves freely, however there are plenty of free STL files to add detents for certain aircraft, as well as many cheap and affordable solutions on the internet to do so
The trim wheel is two internal buttons rather than an axis. So whe nyou move the wheel forward it rapidly presses a button, and same for moving the wheel backward.
Do we need to install any program? my one works with all button except throttle, pitch and mixture ( when I moved the the lever up and down MFS doesn't recognise it ). MFS 2020 version 1.14.5.0. Can you help me out?
Hey, so I have an issue where when I put my thrust levers in idle it goes into reverse I have no clue how to fix this or if it’s just a bug. I also have an issue with the A/T button I click it and it doesn’t work please help
@@xill455 Ok, so is what you need to do is go to the little tablet on your left in the cockpit, and go to the throttle settings. Basically you have to program the positions for the throttle directly from the FBW A320. Once you find the settings, make sure you do manual programing and you should be good.
@@wallyrodaviation can you give me your sensitivity for the bravo throttle quadrant because apparently mine isn’t “syncing” with the values on the flypad
Just got my Bravo a couple weeks ago and the throttle/prop/mix all did not work at all. Cleared em out and rebound and they now register but not correctly. It turns my axis into a button rather than a sliding axis. The white bar disappears and the reverse axis box disappears and treats the lever like an on off switch. Can't find anyone having this issue either. Rebinding doesn't work past the initial issue of not registering at all. Sensitivity shows the levers sliding like they should so it's not the hardware. When I get home I might play with sensitivity settings and see if I get around bug ( kinda like rebinding). Idk.....anyone? Bueller?
I had this problem in the beginning too. Not sure if it was before I installed the software. Or it just took me a while to get used to scanning the axis. This problem just disappeared after a few tries. I remember it only detected + or - buttons when I was in the upper or lower region of the axis. Did you solve it?
@@TheGuWie yes I did. Go into settings and clear the axis and validate it. And back on the options click on it again to set, it then reads the “letter” axis without the -/+ so it works awesome now. Before I did clear the axis but then I did not validate it with nothing on it and immediately rebound axis and I treated it like a button so it was like a half fix. But validating and it returns you too the options list pick it again then rebind and it works. Just make sure on the left do you have a toggle to show you all actions whether they’re programmed or not so it shows up on the list. I saw this fix online I just did not validate when I cleared it first. And it acting like a button lead me to believe something else was wrong. The only software you need in MSFS2020 is the driver for the leds as far as I know.
Hwo in the world did you learn this stuff? Do you work for honeycomb or something? How did you figure all this out so susinctly with no real instructions out there?
I do not work for honeycomb, it was really just a strong assumption I had and then I tested it out, and when when the thing I tested turned out to be the correct way, I assumed it was the same for the rest of the binds. There was definitely trial and error though for sure!
@@56Rockabilly Hi Cliff I am struggling adding the flaps to my A320 Fenix I did try all these still my flaps goes from 1 to full directly any idea what should I do Thanks

The trim wheel on the Bravo is not actually an axis, but two buttons, one for down, and one for up.
