Been away from home for a week or so and first thing I had to do when I got back in was plug up my guitar and play with a backing track and I stumbled upon this one and I believe this was the most fun reunion I have ever had with my guitar! Keep them coming!
Hey Ryan, thanks man - great to hear!! I'm guessing you mean the bit where I play over the F7 (the V chord) using the half/whole tone diminished scale (symmetric diminished).... it's actually pretty straight from the scale, not "out" as such... but obviously sounds out, because it's a juicy sounding scale :) I have a Nugget video out on the symmetric diminished scale... but also, look out for a Nugget video in the next day or two featuring a very similar lick... hope that helps!
