my turbos had this exact issue they got stuck fully closed, thankfully i blew a coupler before it overboosted to badly. I just rebuilt a set of stocks i had with their chra and your wastegate bushing repair kit.
I did forget to mention the reverse pattern issue in my 2nd video. The balance I did not mention because I’m not 100 percent sure if it was incorrect or not. I balance these to tdo4 specs, the turbine is not a factory tdo4 turbo. I consider that it looked like they balanced the individual parts, then balanced the assembly, then vsr balanced it, which may have been right. But I was really confused why the turbine wheel (exhaust) was off by 6 grams on each turbine and the compressor read really close. I couldn’t figure out why that was so I balanced it back as an assembly. It’s possible it could have been accurate on a vsr machine but it was balanced with the extra friction of the wrong bearing.
