When I moved here , several others had lived here before me. They all put pipes in the ground with no record passed down - so it's crazy when I need to dig. I suggest making a little map & record ( for future quick reference). I wish I had access to something like that.😉💕
Yes, I agree with that suggestion, I think all properties need services mapping for convenience and safety. The call before you dig only covers external supply to the property for power, telecoms and water but not how it’s laid out after the entry, as I understand it.
Cover your garden beds with something that will block all sunlight and stop anything from growing in there before you get ready to plant them next Spring.
You can build a fire pit to burn the scrap wood. Also, you can always build a rack in the back of your storage shed to hold your longer pieces of wood off the ground. And you plant twice a year for color I just pulled up my summer flowers and now I’m getting ready to plant the flowers for the winter time. then come spring time they will be done and I’ll plant for summer again. It’s easy. Also in your garden beds, cover the garden beds with cardboard, and it keeps the weeds from coming in, and if the weeds are there it will kill them. You have to understand that Mother Nature is very modest. If you don’t cover her, she will cover herself. That’s why the weeds come in and open ground.
I love your show. You work so well together and your skills are amazing . I admire how well you work together. You seem like such a happy family carving out your dream life in Arkansa. Wishing you Roxanne, Anthony, and Wyatt a happy and rewarding life! Wyatt is a really good young boy, and you are raising him to work and be responsible for the animals you have. Hoping 2025 will be another year of adventure and making your dreams come true. Jeannie in Tennessee
Don’t waste your cardboard boxes.. break them down and put them in your garden beds.. it will help keep weeds and grass growing in the beds, and the cardboard will breakdown and mix with the soil to help enrich it…. It also attracts the earth worms that are good for the garden … Have you ever made the cherry cream cheese pie.. it’s so easy.. graham cracker crust.. 8oz of cream cheese (softened) beat until fluffy add 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 1/3 cup lemon juice 1 tsp. Vanilla.. mix well with cream cheese pour into the pie .crust.. chill a couple hours until set top with cherry pie filling.. ( we like strawberry pie filling)or you can cut the pie and you can add the fruit pie filling as you serve.. The outdoor kitchen once finished and ready to use .. you can finish the outside.. the zip board is good as is for awhile on the sides..
I almost spit my coffee out when Anthony said everyone is taller than you. I get that from my family and friends. I'm only 4ft 11in. Can't reach the back of my 2nd shelf to put dishes or glasses in the cabinet. Step stool to the rescue!
Welcome to the club! When I built my cabin I had the cabinet maker build tall cabinets. Like you, I have to get a step stool to reach anything past the second shelf anyway😊
Good Morning guys! Love pies, Lemon is my hubby's fave, and I like chocolate. Not big on banana cream, as banana's give me heart burn. LOL Like coconut too. But I must make Lemon twice a month or more. Hubby has a big sweet tooth! LOL I think everyone always fines things they want to clean up & organize before the new year, so we are ready to start a new. Hope y'all enjoy your New Year's Eve at C'mon Mountain! I hope everyone in the "Framily" has a good year. I think of y'all as friends, (even tho you don't know me). Hope everyone has a blessed & awesome year in 2025!

😊 See ya next time. Y'all have some good projects coming up. Just remember you can not have too many plugs so put them every where in case you move things around at a later time.
Well! Rox I hate to tell you this but, as you get older we women do shrink. I’ll be 70 in May and I use to be like 5’4 I’m now 5’2. The thing is my son is like 6’7. Now he makes you feel really short. So now you’ve got something to look forward too, haha. Happy New Year you guys. ❤🙏🇺🇸
Hey Rox, have you ever watched the Cog Hill Farms podcasts? Jason Smith does and loves his year round gardens…he has a couple of greenhouses, mixes his soil for what he wants to see and future plant. He talks about his raised beds as well. Might not hurt to cst h a couple of his garden videos. Good luck k on your gardens next year. Doris
December is the month to plant tulips and narcissus flowers to bloom in the spring and also hyacinths is a bulb you plant in December like the tulips are I don’t really know why but that’s what I’ve always been told
Rox, you definitely need to clean the rest of your garden beds out. Plant debris left in the garden often provides a habitat for larvae, pupae and unmated adults, giving them a head start on next years garden. Since you had such a bad infestation of pests last year be sure not to put your plant debris in the compost pile, since you use it in your garden. You will just be putting those pest back in the garden. Compost it in some other area of your yard and use it for other things.
Speaking of cleaning up. I never hear you folks talk about cleaning up after your seven cats and six or seven dogs. I imagine there’s a lot of Doodoo to clean up on a daily or weekly basis. Kudos to you for keeping up.
Rox I am short too and both of my boys are taller than I am and I have a grandson and granddaughter that is taller than me so don’t feel bad being short can have it’s advantages
I am the shortest in my family 5.3. Even all the grandchildren and one of the greatgrandchildren is taller. I have only 3 great grand children smaller and they are 9.7 and 6.
I've had pozole made with pork and didn't like it. Never tried it with chicken. I do make great tasting menudo. I'm the only one in my family of 5 siblings that knows how to make it. Plus make tamales for the Christmas and New Year's.
Season's greetings and Happy 2025 Roz Ant & wy... This 2025 is your year of bounty (food animals comfort in terms of housing/buildings, and a vacation external to the 41.36.... would you ever consider joining those buildings? Maybe add a courtyard surrounding all?
Does anyone know that June 25 at 12:30 is halfway to next Christmas ,I used to have the children write notes to Santa on that day ,it Gould be to thank him or request for the next Christmas, you will be amazed at there words !❤❤❤

The roses will come back in the spring. Cover your garden beds w card board or plastic so in the spring the grass & weeds won't take over come spring.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!
You can put plastic bags or small totes in your chest freezer with different cuts in each one.
Make sure you include an outlet for a freeze dryer in the future.
I look forward to seeing your 2025 dream plans come alive. Happy New Year!
Happy New year everyone so I hope you and family have fun.
😊 See ya next time. Y'all have some good projects coming up.

If you do decide to change your freezer, Wiley and Jen are desperate for a give away freezer.
December is the month to plant tulips and narcissus flowers to bloom in the spring and also hyacinths is a bulb you plant in December like the tulips are I don’t really know why but that’s what I’ve always been told
Happy New Year! All the best in 2025!
You can map out the spaces for your refrigerator and freezers like mama v did...blue tape on the floor.
Hopefully the new year will bless us all! 👍

'My boys are 6'4" and their great grandfather was 7' tall! I am the shortest in my family!!
Happy new year be safe
Maybe you could build you a rack of some sort to keep your scrap wood etc. that you are keeping up off the ground?
Speaking of cleaning up. I never hear you folks talk about cleaning up after your seven cats and six or seven dogs. I imagine there’s a lot of Doodoo to clean up on a daily or weekly basis. Kudos to you for keeping up.
Have a Wonderful New Year!!!😊🎉❤

You need at least one 220 plug. one in the store room & one in the work room you never know when you may need it trust me be Prepared
Rox your hair is shorter. It looks good short. It looks good both ways.
I make cream pies all the time. I make chocolate and coconut cream meringue pie
I’m just curious, what does the temperature have to be for your canning room year round?
Pozole is made with chicken or pork feet and pork tripe. If it's beef meat it's menudo.
What is thunder dome used for,?
It has their office and gaming stuff in there. Couple of Anthony's guitars too!
Have Gary & Mel goats capie and sir Phil into your garden they make short work of it . goats are good garden destroyers
Perimeter fence hopefully that will be cool if you do that I don’t know am guessing???
When you go shoping Roxann, could you tske us along sometime. Change it up.
Does anyone know that June 25 at 12:30 is halfway to next Christmas ,I used to have the children write notes to Santa on that day ,it Gould be to thank him or request for the next Christmas, you will be amazed at there words !❤❤❤
Nice
You know when this was recorded it was a year ago, 🤣🤣🤣😂 I was just kidding, but I do have a serious question, do you all like peaches
What kind of meat do you use?
Map it out for future reference.
Add more plugs than you think you'll need. You will thank yourself later. Trust me, been there, done that.
Anthony, have you thought about adding an L on to your canning/wood working shed to stack good wood for later use??
You need to ask Gary to help you with the electric since I know more about it it would help you along a lot faster than y’all are doing it
I really like your hair Roxanne
I hope you all got your Christmas card I sent.
We did thank you 😊

Maybe I just need to taste Roxann's. I'm Mexican & I don't like Posole. My mom was the best cook & LOVED all her meals, except for that.
Anthony, you look very nice in some color, not all black.
We would love for you do a vibe with Simple Life and tell the story of when and how you decided to make the move and do the joint venture of moving to the land! Happy New Year!!
Diatomaceous earth will kill the ants in the garden
Are you planning to insulate the walls of the storage room?
Did you not listen to the video?
@ looks like I missed the answer to that. I guess I was distracted doing two things at once.
i would add more outlets than you beed in supply room. it dont hurt, you coold later use for something pissibly.
