I used to eat Potbelly WAY more until they changed their sizes and upped the price. Now I really only get it when they have BOGO deals or 2x point days.

We all bag on American cheese but it’s seriously the only kind of cheese that’s a constant in my fridge. Oh, I’ll have cheddar or Monterey, Swiss or Havarti too. But not all the time. American is ALWAYS in there.

Cheese on a sandwich? It depends on the meat, roast beef = cheddar, turkey = provolone, corned beef/pastrami = swiss, ham = swiss, hamburger = yellow american.

I use a variety of cheeses on my sammiches, just depends on my mood. I switch between swiss cheese, colby jack, and ghost pepper cheese. I also use those cheeses when I make smash burgers too!

I'm glad you guys noticed the giard from Potbelly is hot. Of all the places here in Chicago, Potbelly has by FAR the spiciest giard. Huge bummer about the cheese, that could of changed the sandwich.

Man Potbelly lost me a long time ago....it used to be worth it when a sando was under $10 but knocking on $14 for just the sandwich is crazy!! Local Italian delis here are way better and still hitting right at $10 after tax.
