    Thanks for covering products and companies of all sizes. It's always nice to have more people working on reefing products to make our lives and the lives of our reef inhabitants better and/or easier to care for longterm.

    Really appreciate someone actually taking the time to make something they are passionate about and build it how the customer wants to have it setup. Definitely worth paying the extra coin!

      Agreed mate! Quality workmanship is a lot rarer than it should be these days

    Thanks for all your hard work. I've booked marked their website to keep it in mind for a year or two when I want to upgrade from my 4ft to a 7-8ft tank. I love how they have designs for inbuilt filter roller and algae turf scrubbers.

    Great looking gear.
    The algae reactor reminds me of a cyclone separator that is used for sea water cooled air conditioning plant. It would be cool to have cone and valve at the bottom to remove the detritus in a similar way to how the cyclone separators work.

      They can now if you contact dreamz plus. They don’t sell to distributors, they custom make for the customer.
      Shoot them an email and say you saw the video on Parker’s reef!

    Will be interesting to see how they run long term, there's a lot of small parts that could get blocked or require cleaning with the current filter mat and silencer design. Build quality looks amazing though.

    What is the purpose of the plastic ball reactor? It must have light. I think it is the same as Bashsea?

    • @ParkersReef
      @ParkersReef  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Was mentioned in the video, it’s actually an algae light reactor. The balls are just there to demonstrate the flow. They also show a completed reactor which is blacked out

    Looks promising
    Off topic how is you bubble algae doing and have you had to do anything else with it? I have a good bit of it and the emerald crabs 🦀 are very selective to where they will help. Looking to do what you did but didn’t know if it fixed your problem?

    • @ParkersReef
      @ParkersReef  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I need to do another treatment as mine has crept its way back in and starting to get at a decent proportion again.
      Can’t get emerald crabs in australia, so I’ll be using the continuum treatment I did last time

    • @jhaych
      @jhaych 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I recommend urchins, mine destroyed it, up your refugium lighting period as well! I noticed not doing water changes for a bit helps as the bubble algae seems to love fresh salt

      @@jhaych I have tuxedo ones and they just go over it. What ones do you have?

    • @jhaych
      @jhaych 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@michaelbalsley6041 I have 2 blue tuxedo urchins in my 5X2X2 and they smashed it mate. I also added in two sea hares but unfortunately they died out really quickly. I added 5 emerald crabs but my hawkfish and banana wrasse saw them as an expensive meal I believe! I kept dosing liquid nitrates and phosphate as I was getting readings of 0 through my hanna checkers, but that was just feeding the bubble algae and my tank was absolutely covered, I realised that the bubble algae was in fact eating my nitrate and Phosphate, once I stopped dosing my levels exploded my nitrates were at like 50 and my phosphate was at 0.60 something ridiculous and I didn't do water changes as the fresh salt seems to feed the bubble algae and I just upped my photo period on my refugium, that reduced my nutrients and eventually my urchins destroyed the bubble algae. My foxface and tangs weren't bothered about it at all. Took my urchins about 3 weeks to get interested then all of a sudden they absolutely smashed it.

    Awesome stuff. If they put an auto top off behind the weir like the cades I'm switching. And I've only had the cades 1200 and 1500 for a year 😅
