Glad you enjoyed it! Appreciate you dropping a comment!

lol, is that the Caribbean Reef Octopus I donated to Blaine a couple of weeks ago? It’s a “she” as I also found eggs in the tank. Nice video guys. 👍👍👍
Great video! What was the phosphate level that was too high?
Much appreciated was a blast making this one! The coral flats were sitting a little over our high zone of .07! So just skipped the feeding for the day ensuring we didn't raise them anymore!
-Blaine
How do they keep the display tanks with the emperor angle and grouper in it so clean? Im constantly having to clean off my glass
We have a dedicated team to keeping this facility pristine, and also we have a well dedicated filtration for all of our systems.
-Blaine
Were your Copper Bands already eating Mysis or did you have to train them to eat frozen food?
All of these in the farm systems have been trained to eat mysis, it is for sure a labor of love to get them to eat! Once they do though, it is very rewarding!
-Blaine
Also do you guys prepare any of the foods and store it in a fridge or is it made fresh daily? I usually will store my coral food and unfrozen cube mysis in the shrimp to save time not sure if that is good.
We store this in one of the fridge, and we will use it until it's used up! We have enough mouths to feed it won't go bad and will get used in no time! Thanks for checking out the video and leaving a comment!
-Blaine
For the coral/big fish mixes, can this be mixed for a week’s worth of feeding vs daily? Not sure if, or how long, they’d last in the fridge.
We mix this up and will use it for the next few days. You for sure can do this, but may think about freezing daily portions!
-Blaine
How many times a week do you guys test the parameters?
When are we not testing? LOL!
-Blaine
In the squeeze bottles for smaller fish, what specific meat are you using? I have frozen PE Mysis, but need a smaller meat for my fish with smaller mouths.
Some great options could be R.O.E. or Pac Pods by Reef Nutrition, those are good for smaller mouth sizes.

@@TopShelfAquatics thanks Blaine!
Do you sell that fake coral insert ? If not where can I get one?
Shoot us a message on Instagram or send us an email at onlinesales@topshelfaquatics.com and we can help you out!

How do you deal with nitrates and phosphates in your fish system?
Heavy filtration down below and maintaining a frequent water change regime.
-Blaine
@TopShelfAquatics when you say heavy filtration, what do this include? GFO? What about nitrates?
I'll take your fish lol, jk. Love to see your food bill. I feed 6 kids, and that a lot, I can't imagine food your tanks. Video on your lights, filters and all your gear.
We are planning some fun video series here in the future featuring what we run around the facility, appreciate you dropping in and leaving a comment! We got to feed a lot of individuals around here LOL!

nom nom nom
That puffer was MUNCHIN'!
-Blaine
MARINATE!!!
We’ll be right back!
-Blaine
Rinse all the fat and omega 3 and fatty acids and nutrition to the fish and coral right out of it 😂
Also, what are you adding to the feeders with the rubber band besides the Seachem products? Basically, the meaty foods?
Yup! You got it, just the meaty foods!
-Blaine
Maybe I missed it in the video but whwn do you feed your corals? Right before lights off or midday?
In the farm we are feeding in the later afternoon, that way the tanks are clear during the day during packing and for any photography/videography that needs to be done during the work day!
-Blaine
Awesome video! I’m always looking for different things and ways to feed. You mentioned you run copper in your fish display. What level do you keep it at?
2.5ppm Copper for our fish wall system! Thanks for checking out the video!
-Blaine
When rinsing the mysis shrimp is that tap water used or ro?
Rinsing with tap water, not a bad idea to utilize RO water if possible!
-Blaine
Great video, thanks
Thanks for checking it out!
-Blaine
Okay, but what does Blaine feed that majestic mustache? LET US KNOW YOUR SECRET, BLAINE
😂😂😂
All natural! Irish blood, I guess?
-Blaine
@@TopShelfAquatics So.... I should eat an Irish guy is what you're saying
Great video
Much appreciated! Thanks for stopping in and leaving a comment!
-Blaine
Muy buen video espero ver muchos mas😂 ¿lo que echais en los acuarios de corales es fitoplacton o algo mas?
Hi there! It's a combination of rotifers, phytoplankton, amino acids, and whatever dry coral food is needed for the system!
-Blaine
@@TopShelfAquatics ok gracias👍
