Thanks for watching!! When not using the anamorphic set up, My go-to focal length is 35mm. It just feels... right. Other than that, some of the daytime, off-camera flash images were shot as wide as 15mm. That does require getting unreasonably close to people you don't know, so I can't really recommend it :)
@@kpsnow2411 Amazing, thanks so much man! Been getting back into creative street photography after doing video stuff for a while, and this was super inspiring! That’s 35 on the R5C still tho? How do you find it using it for both video and photo, or do you usually stick to one?
Love the video! The photos and video footage with the anamorphic adapter look dope 🔥 Would be interested in a video about how to effort to live in new york.
Thanks Jason! I'll definitely make additional videos on the transition to the city and major differences I've found. The sheer amount of effort required to do normal tasks and the sacrifice of common conveniences are pretty substantial, but the payoff is absolutely worth it. Access to NYC as a cultural and culinary hub is worth all the blood, sweat and inevitable tears.
Phenomenal photos (and videos too)! For living here for only 6 months, I'm wildly impressed by your ability to capture NYC. This video is inspiring me to get out n shoot more. Cheers
Jack thank you so much for watching and commenting! I tried to hit the ground running and see as much of the city as I could. The hustle and ambition of everyone here is infectious so its hard to sit still!
Good stuff, Kerrenton! I did a couple videos in SF as a photographer. If you're ever on this side of the US, lets connect and have a photo adventure in SF!
I didn't realize you had moved to New York. We met a couple years ago in DC-probably at a Walk with Locals event. I moved to NYC three years ago. Let me know if you ever want to do a photowalk. I'm out all the time.
best video, these pictures are classy
This is amazing work! Shana and I love this! Great lighting
Thank you Sean!! And really appreciate you guys for watching 🙏
Gonna miss you in the DMV, but glad to see you making awesome things in NYC! Fantastic video this time around
Peter!! Thanks man. We’ll have to catch up next time I’m in DC 🙏
Love the video and photos! Really like the colours. What’s your go-to sort of focal length if you walking around taking street style stills?
