Belize was awesome when I was there 30 years ago. I went to Ambergris Caye/ San Pedro and I caught a bonefish from a dock. The snorkeling in the national park was incredible, I didn't know hogfish got HUGE like that. I caught a wahoo and some cudas trolling there too. But the reef was the best part. The visibility was unreal and the fish population was shocking compared to the Keys. But I didn't go outside of the park diving so I don't know how the rest is.
Anyway I hope y'all have/had a great time! Catch a bonefish, guides were super cheap on the beach and the flats are close. Be careful, bonefish fever is real.

I used to live on Caye Chapel back in the 80's and 90's. It was the best time of my life.
Nice digs . Customs line brings back a bit of the blues, but worth it. Can't wait flyover looked killer..

I would absolutely love to see a vlog I haven’t even watched the video yet. This is seriously one of my favorite outdoor media sources. I pretty much only watch you for fishing and meat eater for hunting. The rest of the time I’m in the woods or on the water. Good luck in Belize man I know your produce some amazing content

I bought a golf travel bag. It has much more space than a sport tube (volume, not length), is cheaper, and is easier for TSA. As long as it's not over the weight limit, most airlines (all that I have tried) don't charge any more than a normal carry-on despite it being an odd size. I usually take the lead weights in my carry-on to make sure I make weight. The bag I bought also has a telescoping aluminum rod that holds it rigid. If you're traveling with a short or collapsible gun, I like it. If you need a dogtooth bluewater gun, it wouldn't work.

My wife and i went to Belize in November super beautiful place and the people are so nice and open arms. The water is unbelievably clear hope you have great time can’t wait to see the footage on that .

I always end up carrying on my dive belt, and stuffing all my clothes with my dive stuff, that way I manage only one luggage. Walking around with a weight belt is a bit of a pain, but sometimes it saves you a bunch of $.

I saw you were here Aron you came to the island where I live I didn't see you around man was hoping to wanted to say hello pretty small island too couldn't believe you came though hope you had a great time.
we were there for 5 days! was a lovely place we will def be back
if you're traveling inside the us you can get a super cheap jennings .22 micro pistol and pack it in the case which lets you lock the entire case with non tsa locks and be present for the tsa inspection and re pack it yourself. obviously must be to places you can posses said firearm legally.

it actually wasn't a rental property, we stayed in a friends guest house. but the neighborhood we stayed in was mahogany bay!
Next time you fly out with the gear try to leave the flash light with battery and weights where its easy accessible to them, that should help you out a bit and they won't have to go through the hole sport tube to get to them. It worked for me

This is great! I spent a lot of time there in the 80's and 90's. There are some channels through the reef out by Caye Caulker and Caye Chapel. The blue hole is an obvious choice. Turnefee atoll is another spot. I can't wait to see what you do. It makes me feel homesick in a wierd way..
yea we didn't get a chance to get out to the atolls, had some weather but still had an amazing time!
I'm sure it was great. Too bad about the weather.

I just want to say that I really appreciate your videos, I've been studying them like I do my college courses tbh. I'm seperating from the Navy within a year, relocating to Florida, and have taken a high interest in spearfishing for the sport and food resource (moving Away from red meat). All your videos are very interesting and educational from how to fish in different waters to shark behavior. Once I'm I get settled and buy a boat I'm hitting the water. Thank you for sharing your expertise and insight in every video, keep up the amazing work/content.

This might be unusual to some and if you already have a working solution to this issue every river has it won’t matter, but, to those that still get foggy masks the whole time even with de-fog and burning or toothpaste, my most trustworthy solution is washing up soap or fairy liquid or whatever it’s called near you (make sure it is nature friendly)Add a couple drops for each side of the mask and spread it everywhere to all corners giving it a nice coating. Then just shake it in the seawater (do this just before diving) to get any excess of and so there isn’t any visible liquid in the mask. Make sure not to touch the glass from the inside after this! Now just put it on, it will smell slightly soapy (you can always shake it a bit in the water again if it is too strong, it goes away after a while anyway.) but now your mask won’t fog up for hours. I’ve been on 4 hour long dives and did this only once before hopping in the drink and had no issues and crystal clear views of the fishies. I think it must create some microscopic coating or layer of soap which prevents water from condensing on the glass. Either way, it works wonders and if you have any issues, try it out.
I’m pretty sure a nice bottle of soap is much cheaper than anti fog as well! Save yourself the bucks for a good knife or belt or some fancy glam for ya gun (like a load assist for us lazy divers 😜)

I have 2 sets of gear, one where I’m living now and one set back home. I refuse to do it. Sometimes I’ll bring like one speargun or a couple items just to add because stuff is cheaper in usa. But I grew up in the era there was no tsa so maybe I’m spoiled. I just cant take it anymore.

Hey Aaron. Do you have a video on the methods and lessons learned on videoing your adventures and dives? I have a prescription mask that I like, so not a from-the-factory GoPro Mask. I'm working with a head strap mount and putting my torso hoodie on to secure it. Having difficulty keeping all the activity in the frame. Lastly any insights on filters either ND or color. It seems the traditional magenta filter is difficult as the depth is constantly changing. Thx.
I don't actually, I've never had much luck with the head strap so I don't use it. I don't shoot any kinds of filters on the camera's because I like people to see it as I see it. may I'll try to cover more in some of the videos. appreciate the feedback!

Aaron Ive been watching the channel for a long time and as a Belizean im so happy you came to see my country. However that guy will mitchell.. hes a big salesman . Selling off a lot of land here and man it hurts seeing what thse guys do. Its not putting Belize on the map its destroying the beauty that is Belize . Tc brother . Will was kind enough to invite us over and show us around, I understand everyone has their own opinions of people. There are people here in key west who think everything I'm doing with my TH-cam is terrible for the island of key west and others love what I'm doing for the island and it's tourism. At the end of the day I'm trying to make a living and enjoy my life, and regardless of what I do someone out there will always disagree with it. Hopefully that makes sense. I don't know will on a professional level as our visit was purely pleasure. This was my first time meeting will and I have nothing but great things to say about him. Really appreciate you taking the time to share and hope you continue to enjoy the videos.
