I just got one of these yesterday to use in emergencies and a little heat during a power failure. I haven't tried it out yet. Thanks for this video. I feel more confident using it now.
Thanks for this video. It really helped me decide to get the Gas One! I learned of this one first and then saw that Coleman makes what seemed to be the same thing.

Hi Alex. Thank you for watching and for your support. It should be fine, the pressure will be regulated by the burner regardless. Please consider subscribing if you found the content useful. Thank you.
I think people get too hung up on BTU and such when you average house stove usually gets the job done at 7k. These are used all over Asia, Korea, Japan, etc, in the home, at the table. Different brands, but I am guessing most made in a same factory. Test your fittings, and stop trying to boil 20 qts of water in a cast iron stove, as the heat will damage your stove. Be smart and they will do the job.

With the propane hose I would remove it when done, however, with the butane you can just disengage the mechanism and it should work fine. Hope that helps. Please consider subscribing if you found the content useful. Thank you.
Hi. Thank you for watching and for your support. I am sorry, I cannot answer that with full certainty, but I think the butane lasts a bit longer. Please consider subscribing if you found the content useful. Thank you.
Good point Peter, thank you for your input and for watching. Was my first ever video, but I wanted people to see this stove in real life so it could make it easier for them to decide and be informed. Thanks for your contribution.
I have and used the Coleman butane stove. (grey one) It does have a piezo lighter just like the Gas One. It has the same case, hell it's the same size. The only difference it the pot support is removable,it can run propane (out of the box) and I think the btu is higher for the gas one. Not knocking the Gas One infact although the Coleman is serving me well I wish I would have gotten this one first.
Hi Julia, thank you for watching. Currently they are $32.99. Here is a link if you are interested. Please consider subscribing if you found the content useful. Thank you.
@@jheighten7568 Hi, thank you for watching and for your support. I have not had any issues with mine, I did use some teflon tape on the stove side to attach the hose. Please consider subscribing if you found the content useful. Thank you

After the Texas freeze I bought the Gas One dual feul 15,000 BTU....probably overkill, but I didn't know. Thanks for the video. 👍

Hooking one of these up to a 5 gallon propane tank - safe or not? I'm wondering if there is a pressure difference?

Do I need to remove the cylinder hose or can I keep it on the stove without leakage?
With the propane hose I would remove it when done, however, with the butane you can just disengage the mechanism and it should work fine. Hope that helps. Please consider subscribing if you found the content useful. Thank you.
Does the 16.4 oz propane last longer than two 8 oz butane canisters?

The Gas One also has a piezo lighter, which the Coleman does not. You need a lighter or external igniter with the Coleman.

Why are there so many complaints on the regulator blowing up and leaks?
