This is such a smooth song. It's so pleasing to the ear. Her voice is so much better than it used to be, too. In TFJ it was honestly pretty crackly and shaky. Her voice seemed much smoother but had that super gritty sound in the low notes in EH (which was probably a precursor to her vocal cord rupture). Now her voice is smooth in the highs and lows, which seems to suggest her singing technique has gotten better. I'm loving this new album, not only because the songs are great but because her technique is so much better.
Marina's talent as an artist is simply amazing. All the songs on Froot were written solely by her, a rare achievement in music nowadays. This track is absolutely brilliant.

If this got radio play, it could be a really big summer hit. I know that radio success isn't one of Marina's top priorities when it comes to her music, and that's wonderful, but if this got the attention it deserves, this could be the soundtrack to someone's summer. It's got that potential that I know won't be reached - as usual - but that's okay. It's still an amazing song.

If this got radio play, it could be a really big summer hit. I know that radio success isn't one of Marina's top priorities when it comes to her music, and that's wonderful, but if this got the attention it deserves, this could be the soundtrack to someone's summer. It's got that potential that I know won't be reached - as usual - but that's okay. It's still an amazing song.
