You have to try the padthai restaurant directly on the left on this one(thipsamai), its the traditional pad thai it looks very old but the taste is phenomenal. Im Thai btw
I disagree that it’s the best Pad Thai, because the pad Thai is too sweet, small portion, over priced, too much people. In my opinion i rather go eat street pad Thai it’s cheap, big portion, don’t have to queue and very delicious
I never saw one of my Thai friends eating Pad Thai. And at least for me it is one of the least favoured Thai dishes. There are so many other options. Please try them as well.
Yeah I don’t eat pad Thai in the states either, I don’t love it actually, but had to try it in Bangkok. If you keep watching the video I also ordered other dishes!
I thought Thipsamai tasted like crap. It has an overwhelming prawn and seafood flavor that I find repulsive and the noodles were so dry. I much prefer the pad thai at Fai Ta Lu, which has a dark soy sauce, sweet and smokey wok hey flavor with lots of charred bits. It is better than anything I've had in Thailand, even local mom and pop stalls.
After seeing your video I flew from Tokyo to Bangkok to eat exactly what you ordered and you are so right! I left full and happy!
Holy shit, I had no idea their Pad Kee Mao was 800 baht wtf
Luxurious pad thai.

Thank you! Planning to visit this place, is it usually super busy? Is there a good time to visit to ensure everything has stock and less people?
*Triggered my appetite!!!*
