exactly, people (some) hate on blackpink cause their dances are easy. Honestly I do want them to be harder but i like it easy so i can also dance along
Guys, I hate it when you say things like "I can't do it, I can't relate, these are too hard for me" or something like that. Have faith in yourself. These idols didn't come here with natural talents, they trained for years. They did it, and so can you. You just have to have confidence in yourself. Don't look down on yourself, you can do it, you'll improve if you don't give up. Fighting!
Oh yeah lol the 1st choreo I learnt was La Vie En Rose (it was also the only one I learnt fully lmao) I thought I slayed until I filmed 🗿 Their choreos get faster and faster each comebacks smh tho-
I'll just drop here how I PERSONALLY learn choreographies because when i started with kpop dances it was hard for me, since no one told me good way to learn 1. At night, just before going to bed (I mean the night before the day i will learn the dance) i watch choreography video like 3 or 5 times in row and choose a member i'm gonna follow (YOU HAVE TO FIND MIRRORED VERSION OF THE DANCE PRACTISE) 2. (Next day) I start with the chorus because it's the main and mostly the hardest part of the whole choreo- if the chorus is easy or slow i just do it by the official dance practise and if it's harder i find a tutorial with explanation 3. After i learn the chorus i watch the official practise again- then i slow it (according to comfortable speed for me - i ussualy use 0.5 speed (there is 0.25 , 0.5 , 0.75 , full but you can make a custom one) 4. Then i watch it and at the same time i am trying to copy the moves - if i can't, then i watch it again and try again 5. After knowing the whole choreo i speed it to 0.75 and dance it again like 3 times (but it's only your decision) 6. Next day i try full speed and pay attention to details That's all Hope this helps 🥰 (btw sorry for mistakes but Eng is not my native language so i'm not perfect at it :D)
I also recommend watching dance covers and trying to look out for any mistakes, it helps with paying attention to the details and can help you memorize it more. They're also easier to look at for me personally b/c I feel like they have better lighting since the do it outside in the daytime, typically. Btw your English is amazing :) i don't think I noticed any grammar or spelling mistakes :D
btw instead of focusing on one member its a bit better to just follow whoever is center atm. a lot of choreos make the members wait while the others do sumn else ( especially w groups that have a lot of members ) also after you learn the choreo w dance practice watch their performance stages and focus on their facial expressions
Funny story i’m learning that dance rn and well I took a video and felt like an absolute fool so now im here tryna find beginner dances (I have no dancing experience)
when i was learning wannabe the next day i couldnt move my shoulders and i assumed it was because of the shoulder movement in wannabe cause i did it to much lmao
@@yannika._ haha I had that problem too at first. Every time I listened to wannabe my shoulders automatically moved so I guess that’s why it stopped very soon
Okay, but hylt is easy to learn but to make it look right or presentable is really hard for me. I have been still practicing but it just looks awkward.
try to be sharper in your moves and pay attention to small details (put the vid in slow mo and look out for small moves and angles it helped me a lot personally)
*_I had the same problem. Always remember: don't hold your breath while dancing, don't concentrate too much on the movements like you have to remember them because that affects your facial expression and the fluidity and confidence on your movements. Try to record yourself and practice how your body and face looks in front of a mirror. Cheer up! I'm rooting for you!_*
One dancer said and a hip hop friend , its an attitude you wear. So if u dont feel any of the character of thecdance, it will come off as fake. As is true with smaller groups, their choreo stand outs because they own the dance.
am i the only one that only learns choruses,.. like i’d never be able to learn a whole choreo👁👄👁 LITTLE UPDATE GUYS I MANAGED TO LEARN PRETTY SAVAGE!! ANOTHER UPDATE: I also learned Icy hehe and I’m trying to learn wannabe :)) (I’m just gonna make that my “choreos I learned and still need to learn” notebook sksks enjoy)
I've learnt gods menu full choreography😂😂lol but it took time ,I couldn't even do the chorus properly now my sister and I know the whole dance and we dance tg
THIS CHANNEL IS THE MOST HONEST AND UNBIASED ONE!!! I am a dancer myself and 99.9999999% agree. (bcs CLC NO actually easier in some category. the flexibility and fast movement in Devil is.... so make sure learn Dalla2 before Devil guys :")) FEVER is GFRIEND easiest dance choreo (title track category, well Summer Rain also easy but..) the beat is also clear T^T and I learn Dance The Night Away in 1 hour. well, Twice best and hardest choreo is Feel Special after all. HYLT needs some power but the tempo is easier than Hwiparam TT.TT Dalla Dalla is tiring and indeed improves your skill a lot. and if you're in a group for Dalla Dalla, make sure you've great teamwork and high spirit :)))
Thank you so much for commenting this 💕 I wasn’t trying to pick the easiest choreography, but more so choreographies that will help you improve and will motivate you to keep dancing.
@@SeulgisSwag you're welcome... yeah, those dance in your videos indeed not the easiest in kpop but they are good for improving your skills. There's a lot of dance easier than them (have basic movements/repeated simple movements) 👌
@@rruuyl i agree with this. it's just that apple focuses more on how to look good. It's useless to know the steps of Apple without improving stage presence and posture so I think Apple is an ideal choice to improve these two aspects. Fever is the first Gfriend (and kpop) song that I actually memorized (as a whole song tho i did learn other songs chorus parts before Fever) and kept improving on it (i'm not a dancer) so I think for the actual dancing part of dance, it's better to dance Fever for improvement. it has simple yet strong beats and steps but a lot of small details that you will learn the more you dance to it.
HYLT was the first dance/only dance rn that I’ve perfected, so I’m going to give you guys some dumb tips: 1. Learn the chorus first, I used Ellen and Brian’s (the YT channel) tutorial 2. Practice. Every. Day. Even if it’s just once, practice so much. 3. Watch the mirrored version in your free time. Memorizing is easy with just watching it. I learned a lot of dances half way by watching the mvs and dance practices a lot 4. If you know a flowier dance form, MOST KPOP DANCES AREN’T VERY FLOWY. It’s mostly hip hop and other more ‘modern’ dance styles. Try to get yourself out of that mindset. 5. Have fun. If you don’t like the song, don’t learn it (unless you love the dance that much). 6. Learn with a friend. This can help you pinpoint things to fix if you notice something wrong on them, or just have moral support. 7. Practice in front of a mirror, especially a floor length one. This can ALSO help you pinpoint mistakes if you have any. Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t properly practice without a mirror anymore. 8. After you’re pretty confident, record yourself. Sometimes a mirror can’t help you catch all the small mistakes, mostly the big ones. If you can, try to put your dance and a fancam of the dance you’re performing and see where you’re going wrong, it helps, a lot. I hope these can help you! Good luck!
Um I don’t have a mirror but I will do the rest without showing the dances to anyone but my computer and ghosts in the garage who are horrified thank you sm ahah 🌈😘✌️
welp flowier dances search youtube for lyrical solos for beginners or whatever your level is I actually learnt hylt from this girl who kept on dancing it in my class cause I don't really watch/ listen to blackpink a lot but just seeing her do it everyday kind of made me subconsciously know how to do it. Maybe it's because my dance teacher uses the kind of 'i do you do method' so maybe that's why I can learn it like that? We'll never know-
yea same 😭 we need the same format but a different title Like "hi I've never dance in my whole life and now I want to learn so plz gave me Dora's choreography or smtg like that"
Lemme drop some things to do in order to learn choreo faster. 1. Find some mirrored dance practices 2. Adjust the speed 0.25 then do upper. 3. Listen to every beats. 4. Relax and try not be mindful of your next moves.
I'm currently writing down a list of dances on Google Docs so that I can learn. I've tried to learn but it's hard since I'm very stiff. I'll let you know how far I've gotten with these songs.
Maybe try stretching for the stiffness and just be comfortable with yourself. And maybe record urself to see some steps that u can improve on but the stiffness will go over time once u have control over your movements more so maybe try paying attention to the steps too !!!
Although I don't know all these dances, I know that Ddu Du Ddu Du and How You Like That were really easy. My tip would be to learn the hand movements first and then start using your legs once you've mastered the hand motions. Hope this helps!
Oh! Also do some yoga before and after. I think it helps with both warming up and cooling down. You could also do some jumping jacks or push up or something like that. That gets your blood pumping.

to be honest, i think what you waiting for needs to be higher in terms pf difficulty, it might seem very easy but the leg movements will simply look floppy if you don’t have a strong control over them, and also stretching your arm that widely while doing foot choreography might make it seem a lot more floppy, and you need to have proper posture for the movements at the half end of the chorus because it won’t look as clean, you might find that you’ll be stretching your feet upwards almost to a tiptoeing position, and it might tire you because you need to control your muscles to make it seem more clean and figured, it might seem easy, but pulling it off just to look like how somi did it might take a lot more effort.
yeah it's actually not that easy but compare to other dances in the list I agree with uploader. I mean, that's why you need to know (at least) a few basic movement in a dance right?. and exercise before practice the dance. and learn Dalla Dalla first so we understand how to cover Somi's dance better.... nothing is easy when it's come to dance after all... unless we born with great talent in dance lol
Yeah,it looks kinda easy but actually it isn't that easy (for me).I spend MANY TIME learning it.It has lot of small details that not everyone can notice.
Thank you for picking choreography that actually helps you improve instead of "easy dances". When I picked Umpah Umpah (Red Velvet) to learn based on your reasoning and it helped my spot my flaws. For example, i don't have great stamina, i tend to hurry and then cause myself to not finish moves, and i need to learn to distribute my energy. I know my flaws now. BTW could you make a video with common mistakes beginners make when trying to learn Idol dancing. I know my flaws but don't know how to fix them. Also, if you don't want to make that type of video its fine if you know of any videos similar to it the please link it down below. Thanks for the video :)
For me personally, “don’t know what to do” by Blackpink is a really good dance to learn for beginners. That was the first one I learned when it came out, and it’s pretty easy since the the moves are very sharp in chorus in my opinion
Don't know what to do is kind of hard, especially for people who aren't flexible (like me LMAO), the verses include so much footwork while laying down.
@@tien137_ yes you’re right. Idk that was just the first dance I learned and it was pretty easy personally lol. The chorus is pretty easy, but yea I agree the rest is a bit hard for people who aren’t flexible 😅
@@soodheerteeluck8814 i learned bon bon chocolat first and that drop at the beginning killed my legs for about a week 🗿 i did it like 30 times in one practice and i almost couldnt move the next day.. stupidity lol
HYLT was the first choreography i ever learned FULLY and everyone's saying its so easy THAT SHIT HAD ME IN PAIN BACK IN JUNE I had to take 3 day long break from moving my head to much because headaches were getting really bad from moving around so much and since that day I still get mild headaches while learning dances and have to take a break the next day my im still recovering I also damaged my foot but that was just me being clumsy i stepped on a fan💀
same it was my first dance after 2 months into kpop it learned it like in a week first 5 days i was learning the choreo and next two days i started to dance fluently (it was very tough tho) i also learned d4,ktl and money
I figured that one out. I used to learn dances by just looking at the dance practice that the artists released so for example like all of the Twice dances I've learned except for FS and M&M are not mirrored and I'm not that motivated to go back and learn all the dances up to the two latest ones smh 🤦🏿♀️💀 but anyways yeah that's a great tip👍🏾
For some weird reason, whenever I look at a choreography, I coordinate their right and left sides with my own. So, like, if they're doing something with their left hand, I won't mirror it and use my right hand. I'll do it with my left hand too. This is for the easier ones though. I was able to learn most of IZ*ONE, BVNDIT, CLC and Red Velvet's this way. ITZY's too. Dreamcatcher's and Gfriend's, for example, are a bit harder, so I like to use mirrored version for those.
This is my personal opinion Red flavor - 3/5 it can improve on doing multiple movements at the same time. Wannabe - 2.5 the speed might be hard but it can improve your arms and shoulder movements. NotShy - 3/5 the same difficulty as dalla its hard for beginners Boombayah - 2.5 it can be a beginner key As if its your last - 1.5 easy for beginners.
literally everyone says aiiyl is easy but ive been dancing for a year already and i still have troubles learning the choreo😭 the movements are so weird idk
I actually searched for this cuz I was trying to learn Back door by Stray Kidz and it's yeah hard. Especially for a person like me who didn't even know a bit about dancing except floss. This will be my first time even trying to dance so I needed to know what to start with but...rehte so many can't decide-
Oh My God is actually hard to memorize, which is only because there aren't many repeated parts of the dance, like the koreo for the chorus is different.
0:26 BLACKPINK - How You Like That 0:57 Taeyon - Spark 1:36 (G)-Idle - Oh My God 2:30 ITZY - Dalla Dalla 3:13 Twice - Dance The Night Away 4:01 Oh My Girl - Nonstop 5:00 BLACKPINK - Ddu Du Ddu Du 5:43 Somi - What You Waiting For 6:15 Red Velvet - Umpah Umpah 7:03 Gfriend - Fever 7:48 CLC - Devil
I think Mamamoo hip should also be there. I learnt that dance in 30 mins and is very easy to do. And it will also help to do the dance movement faster.
@@oo8962 hmm like don't go to hard on the first try and do it simple not too energy and starting learning. After finished learning try to do it like the idol do and keep practicing everyday so u won't forget the steps.
I learned that in two hours as well! Of course the dance didn't Look perfect but I memorized all of the moves and pretty much what to pay attention to and yeah
i'll just sort it out by level of difficulty i guess,,, 5:44 What You Waiting For - Somi (1/5) 5:00 DDU-DU DDU-DU - Blackpink (1.5/5) 0:26 How You Like That - Blackpink (1.5/5) 4:03 Nonstop - OH MY GIRL (1.5/5) 3:13 Dance The Night Away - Twice (2/5) 0:57 Spark - Taeyeon (2/5) 6:16 Umpah Umpah - Red Velvet (2.5/5) 1:38 Oh My God - (G)I-dle (2.5/5) 7:49 Devil - CLC (2.7/5) 2:31 Dalla Dalla - Itzy (3.5/5) btw credits to Dazai Osamu for the timestamps :D i just sorted it by its difficulty cause it'll help me
For dtna, I feel like the hardest thing is making it not look weird. Like TWICE can make weird moves look good, so yea hard to dance without getting laughed at hahahahaha
The dances are pretty easy i already learned some but i CANNOT dance alone it seems like ghosts in my room are laughing at me cause i have no friends that wants to dance kpop with me
I started with BTS ON... Worst decision I’ve ever made Edit: I know some people don’t like edits but there’s a great Dance Tutorial channel called Ellen and Brian that take you through the dances step by step so maybe check them out :)
I think it would be nice if u made another video with this theme but with medium difficulty and the hard difficulty. I haven't seen anyone do one for medium so I would really appreciate if you did one💖. Also thanks the video was very helpful imma learn HYLT now😅
I'm really glad I was able to help! I will be making another one of these sooner or later, since I already have a long list of videos that I need to edit and upload 💕✨
Please please please please please PLEASE do part 2. I really needed this to help me improve in my dancing and as a form of exercise since I don't have time to go to the gym or do anything else so it's convenient since I can do this at home. Thank you so much for being unbiased and for helping us beginners out.
Coincidence: How you like that was the first dance that I ever learned that was actually managable for me(still a beginner btw T^T) I really recommend starting with How You Like That, I'm telling you I'm really bad at dancing but have improved more and more with this dance.
i've already learned some of these by tutorials or mirrored dance practices and even tho i'm not a dancer i can agree!! imo, dalla dalla is the most difficult in this list because you need a lot of energy, the movements are big plus facial expressions. sometimes you need to be cool/sassy then cute and smile lol i still struggle with that because i always dance with a blank face xD
How you like that might look easy, but you can't hit the iconic moves so easily...they be looking like absolutely slaying it...And you will be looking like just doing the moves...
I started learning kpop dances in 2018 just for fun but now i want to actually get better. Thank you this video helped me a lot. Wish me luck im gonna learn spark first. 😆

I really love the way you made this video feels like a journey than just a set of recommendations. Like how we familiarize ourself in HYLT to kpop dances, we try to improve our fluidity and control in Taeyeon's Spark. And then we kinda take a break from all the technicalities to some fun but stamina-building dances. 👏Good job! I'll definitely use this as a guide!
Are with "beginners" meant people who have zero dance experience or people who already dance but never danced to kpop? (I know, it is a very stupid question😂) Btw sorry for my bad english
I recommend apple by gfriend too for me it helps with making your positions, movement or smnth like that like the how stable and accurate your moves will be with all the poses and stuff
When I started learning dances one song that really helped and was very beginner-friendly was Chuu- Heart Attack. It was a good dance to start off with and didn't take long to get, but it is also slightly challenging to master👍🏽 (if you are a bit intermediate like me try Not Shy by Itzy)

me one year ago: *learns how to dance the chorus of BTS Go Go* me now, after a year of no practicing: *learns the complete choreography of God´s Menu and dances it almost perfectly without knowing how she did* (sorry for my grammar)
Just practice the hand movements first. Once you think you've perfected it, then move onto the legs and hands at the same time. Or watch tutorials. Its what i did. (For somewhat harder danced though)
Just learned Wannabe by Itzy. Hardest part was doing the figure eight with my hands. My wrists were confused for a good hour but I got it down. Thank you for the list.♥️ Hopefully this keeps me busy and I don't forget Wannabe lol.
I just remembered my school used to make every grade do dances that they practiced in pe class the whole year and the principal would rate all the dances
I know it’s an old song, But Roly Poly of T-Ara is really good for beginners! It’s easy, fun and it really helps set the foundation into harder dances~
Some tips that have personally helped me as someone who has danced for years and has some training/has been taught by professionals. - If you can always try to dance in front of a mirror, we often aren’t too aware of our angles or how we look. Matching angles is how idols look so synchronized. If you don’t have a large enough mirror, you can try recording yourself and playing it back. - For those who struggle with controlling your movements (sometimes referred as textures) imagine you’re moving in water. If you try moving your arm, it’s a lot harder to move it than in the air. You have to create a similar resistance in the air, over time you’ll just know when to apply it. - Anyone who struggled with memorization (me personally) try breaking it down move to move. Take it piece by piece. Then add them together and just repeat. It’s definitely not fast but it works! Good luck! Don’t be too hash on yourself and remember that everyone starts somewhere! :)
Du-ddu-du-ddu was the first song i ever learned! It’s been about a year since then and i’ve really improved! Keep practicing and you’ll get it eventually ;)
Thank you so much for making this!! I was looking for dances bc I really want to start dancing and I thought I should try Kpop dances bc that’s what I listen to mostly, and I thought that it might be easier if I start with songs I already knew. I love that you also explained why each song is easy and what it improves. Thank you so much again for making that❤️
I've been dancing almost my entire life and still do and I don't entirely agree with this list. Though the most are pretty simple and easy to remember, almost all these dance (in my opinion) all depend of confidence and how you hold yourself. If you don't have "swag" or "sexyness" these dances will look rlly rlly weird and unnatural when performed.
Every dance has a certain level of stage presence and “aura” that needs to be emitted while dancing. This video is centered on helping you improve, not listing dances that you will be able to master immediately. As you gain confidence and practice dancing, you will be able to master these dances.
y'all should really get mirrortube. it's this chrome extension that mirrors videos for u. it's super easy to use and has been sooooo helpful. I just really don't like watched mirrored youtube videos and taking views away from the actually idols (also the mirrored videos on youtube are sometime bad quality). I hope this was helpful! 👍 Happy Dancing!💕
I actually started dancing at home about a year or so ago and i was looking at myself doing ryujin’s iconic shoulder move and it looked horrid so i kinda felt a little insecure about my dancing, and then I remembered i used to take dancing classes in school and all of those insecurities went away uwu
Wannabe was my first kpop dance attempt too💀 haven’t gotten past that move yet. But just because you haven’t mastered that move doesn’t mean you aren’t good!! For example, I know sometimes I slay so hard, but other times my lack of experience shows up in the mirror lol. Going full out helps it look better, even if you aren’t confident! Fake it til you make it😜
LMFAOOO this is so me like i feel like im so bad and then im like wait i used to have dance lessons at school i kinda have experience (even tho i did almost nothing bc i was shy) and then i continue with my random confidence boost😭
Wholeheartedly agree with Dalla Dalla!! I learned it and practiced it a lot, and when I returned to dances I had learned previously I saw that I looked way better at them and my movements had more power. Recording yourself is very helpful as well! I didn’t realise how off my body angles were until I saw them on video, so if you want to improve practicing in front of a mirror or recording yourself is a must!
wow, so I literally thought I'd be okay if I tried learning ON by BTS for the first time :D but the first full dance I learned was fancy by twice and I thought I was so good at it until I actually filmed myself :l
The first dance that I've ever learned was Ddu-du ddu-du , about almost 2 years ago and I'm actually very happy that I learned that dance first. Althought, it was back then still a bit hard to learn it and it took a long time . But it's still an easy choreography and it helped me a lot . 😂
I learned kpop dance first when I was in 7th grade in BLACKPINK'S song, "As If It's Your Last" and continue to improve more with GRIEND, BTS and TWICE dances
I started with Not Shy and learned that you actually have to move your leg to dance well :) I also learned that the mirror isn’t the best thing. Record yourself and BE CRITICAL of yourself Watch the dance practices in slow motion to catch ALL the details. Look at the head, hand, arms, body, hips, leg, and feet, preferably of the best dancer in the group. And work on your flexibility because trust me, if you want to learn how to do Onda’s beginning post in La Di Da, you need TONS of flexibility. Edit: last thing, BE CONFIDENT, or you will never stop looking awkward
for boy group dances I'd suggest Golden Child's LADY, it has relatively easy and slow steps, is very dynamic in terms of sharp and soft movements so you'll be able to learn body control, is very fluid and expressive, and there's a lot of musicality, which is very important to learn and I think this choreography can really help with that
Omg I started with the how you like that choreography and I had never done any kpop choreographies but this one helped me a lot to discover my style and general stuff
I’ve learned How You Like That (Medium Hard...just uncomfortable if you’re just starting, don’t worry. Nobody cares that you pop your bum a few times) DALLA DALLA (Hard...everything is precise, the moves have to be really on point. But this will help you straighten your arms and flip your hair properly) DU DDU DU DDU (Really fun to dance to, straight arm improvement. You’ll be able to learn hip movements with this dance) Recommend for you: ICY- ITZY Some BlackPink songs Maybe Feel Special
I've been a kpop stan for about 3 years and usually learn the dances by watching it but more recently I've been actually trying I look really akward dancing and forget a lot of details It sorta frustrating 😪

Guys, I hate it when you say things like "I can't do it, I can't relate, these are too hard for me" or something like that. Have faith in yourself. These idols didn't come here with natural talents, they trained for years. They did it, and so can you. You just have to have confidence in yourself. itzy's dances are really hard man. Wannabe is a shoulder killer. Well, it's just really fast, but still.
Hylt I so easy compared to dalla dalla
Same bruh LMFAO
I'll just drop here how I PERSONALLY learn choreographies because when i started with kpop dances it was hard for me, since no one told me good way to learn
1. At night, just before going to bed (I mean the night before the day i will learn the dance) i watch choreography video like 3 or 5 times in row and choose a member i'm gonna follow (YOU HAVE TO FIND MIRRORED VERSION OF THE DANCE PRACTISE)
2. (Next day) I start with the chorus because it's the main and mostly the hardest part of the whole choreo- if the chorus is easy or slow i just do it by the official dance practise and if it's harder i find a tutorial with explanation
3. After i learn the chorus i watch the official practise again- then i slow it (according to comfortable speed for me - i ussualy use 0.5 speed (there is 0.25 , 0.5 , 0.75 , full but you can make a custom one)
4. Then i watch it and at the same time i am trying to copy the moves - if i can't, then i watch it again and try again
5. After knowing the whole choreo i speed it to 0.75 and dance it again like 3 times (but it's only your decision)
6. Next day i try full speed and pay attention to details
That's all
Hope this helps 🥰
(btw sorry for mistakes but Eng is not my native language so i'm not perfect at it :D)
Omg ty, and so easy too!
TYSM!I'm gonna try it!
@@coralf5 Thanks for the tip!:)
btw instead of focusing on one member its a bit better to just follow whoever is center atm. a lot of choreos make the members wait while the others do sumn else ( especially w groups that have a lot of members ) also after you learn the choreo w dance practice watch their performance stages and focus on their facial expressions

Yes! That’s why I included it because it will definitely help you improve if you keep practicing.
try to be sharper in your moves and pay attention to small details (put the vid in slow mo and look out for small moves and angles it helped me a lot personally)

I am a dancer myself and 99.9999999% agree. (bcs CLC NO actually easier in some category. the flexibility and fast movement in Devil is.... so make sure learn Dalla2 before Devil guys :"))
FEVER is GFRIEND easiest dance choreo (title track category, well Summer Rain also easy but..) the beat is also clear T^T and I learn Dance The Night Away in 1 hour. well, Twice best and hardest choreo is Feel Special after all.
There's a lot of dance easier than them (have basic movements/repeated simple movements) 👌
in my opinion apple is easier than fever. most of gfriend's choreos are difficult but apple isn't really.
me🙄 who learn Dalla dalla first.
HYLT was the first dance/only dance rn that I’ve perfected, so I’m going to give you guys some dumb tips:
1. Learn the chorus first, I used Ellen and Brian’s (the YT channel) tutorial
2. Practice. Every. Day. Even if it’s just once, practice so much.
3. Watch the mirrored version in your free time. Memorizing is easy with just watching it. I learned a lot of dances half way by watching the mvs and dance practices a lot
Good luck!
Um I don’t have a mirror but I will do the rest without showing the dances to anyone but my computer and ghosts in the garage who are horrified thank you sm ahah 🌈😘✌️
welp flowier dances search youtube for lyrical solos for beginners or whatever your level is
I actually learnt hylt from this girl who kept on dancing it in my class cause I don't really watch/ listen to blackpink a lot but just seeing her do it everyday kind of made me subconsciously know how to do it. Maybe it's because my dance teacher uses the kind of 'i do you do method' so maybe that's why I can learn it like that? We'll never know-
Solo by Jennie is really easy too, I've learnt it in a whole afternoon that's like 2-3 hours.

Do the hand movements first. Then the legs. That is probably the most helpful advice I can give you.
Lemme drop some things to do in order to learn choreo faster.
1. Find some mirrored dance practices
Okay! Thank you 💕
Maybe try stretching for the stiffness and just be comfortable with yourself. And maybe record urself to see some steps that u can improve on but the stiffness will go over time once u have control over your movements more so maybe try paying attention to the steps too !!!
try breathing while you dance. people don't usually breath while they dance and don't really stretch either.

Whoa, this helps so much! Thank you!
Woahhh I was looking for this.. thanks a lot
thank u, btw does anyone have any tips to not look stiff when dancing 😭
to be honest, i think what you waiting for needs to be higher in terms pf difficulty, it might seem very easy but the leg movements will simply look floppy if you don’t have a strong control over them, and also stretching your arm that widely while doing foot choreography might make it seem a lot more floppy, and you need to have proper posture for the movements at the half end of the chorus because it won’t look as clean, you might find that you’ll be stretching your feet upwards almost to a tiptoeing position, and it might tire you because you need to control your muscles to make it seem more clean and figured, it might seem easy, but pulling it off just to look like how somi did it might take a lot more effort.
yeah it's actually not that easy but compare to other dances in the list I agree with uploader. I mean, that's why you need to know (at least) a few basic movement in a dance right?. and exercise before practice the dance. and learn Dalla Dalla first so we understand how to cover Somi's dance better.... nothing is easy when it's come to dance after all... unless we born with great talent in dance lol

Y'all should do it mirrored this because that's the original way, idols do. I hate it when I only find low quality mirrored videos but it's alright
@@lovechoerrymotion5086 no problem- im suprised someone saw this comment tho haha
Yea and there is a chrome extension called mirror tube I think that allows you to mirror videos

@@ayomidebabatunde9276 sameee i need more of this videos are really helpful
Please please please please please PLEASE do part 2. I really needed this to help me improve in my dancing and as a form of exercise since I don't have time to go to the gym or do anything else so it's convenient since I can do this at home. Thank you so much for being unbiased and for helping us beginners out.
I started with AleXa's Bomb. Now I'm gonna learn something from your recommendation. I like how you gave us reasons for rating of choreo.
You can do it! 💕
Monster by Irene and Seulgi is also a great dance if you want to improve your flexibility and dance faster... Since it's more of a hand dance it will help you on the upper portion of your body... ( 6 out of 10)

Alien by Lee Suhyun: more of a upper body dance being cute but impactful at the same time...will help you a lot with having a simple dance but being impactful and smooth (5 out of 10)
If you need more... I'll help you out
I really love the way you made this video feels like a journey than just a set of recommendations.
(I know, it is a very stupid question😂) Btw sorry for my bad english
it’s people who have started to dance kpop but aren’t the best yet
I used to do ballet but it has been five years so im pretty u experienced I would say.
I recommend apple by gfriend too for me it helps with making your positions, movement or smnth like that like the how stable and accurate your moves will be with all the poses and stuff
I love how Lisa Rhee's video was used here for What You Waiting For
Same , I felt proud lol
When I started learning dances one song that really helped and was very beginner-friendly was Chuu- Heart Attack. It was a good dance to start off with and didn't take long to get, but it is also slightly challenging to master👍🏽
(if you are a bit intermediate like me try Not Shy by Itzy)
Hylt -easy begin with this
Somi wywf- teaches the basic good combo of hands and leg movements
•pay attention to small details
Oh my girl- nonstop - body control, fluidity, rid of stiffness in hips mix of hands and legs
•pay attention to small details
Bp DDu Du-hand movements, flexibility
Taeyeon spark -fluidity, body control ,stamina
Twice -DTNW- versatility, fluidity and facial expressions
RV umpah umpah- stamina for beginners, new techniques
Gfriend Fever- strength, coordination, become less stiff
CLC devil- faster dance, body control
Gidle oh my God -coordination, body control, sharp moves, hand focused facial expressions
Itzy Dalla dalla- execute strong and powerful moves
Always stretch before you dance to loosen up a bit watch the dance practice over and over listen to the beat and practice practice practice have fun 💕❤️
Thank you 😊
thank you alot for this video! im looking foward starting to dance and didnt know with what to start
me one year ago: *learns how to dance the chorus of BTS Go Go*
me now, after a year of no practicing: *learns the complete choreography of God´s Menu and dances it almost perfectly without knowing how she did*
(sorry for my grammar)
Samee i know how to dance god's menu but am still struggling with go go like wtf haha
I find go go so hard but gods menu is relatively much easier
I tried hylt SO MANY TIMES but my tiny primary school body can’t do it
It’s good to try and I’m sure u will eventually get better lmao
Ahhh dear
Just practice the hand movements first. Once you think you've perfected it, then move onto the legs and hands at the same time. Or watch tutorials. Its what i did. (For somewhat harder danced though)
Maybe use tutorials , fan cams and putting the video on a slower speed.
you dont understand how PERFECT this is!!
kpop is bae, and i need to learn how to dance-
YOU EARNED A SUB!!
Just learned Wannabe by Itzy. Hardest part was doing the figure eight with my hands. My wrists were confused for a good hour but I got it down. Thank you for the list.♥️ Hopefully this keeps me busy and I don't forget Wannabe lol.
Was that your first dance? That was my first one, but I stopped at the shoulder move :’)
me: (who already memorized a boy group dance with powerful and tiring choreography) "Damn, I didn't know that I should have started here."
I just remembered my school used to make every grade do dances that they practiced in pe class the whole year and the principal would rate all the dances
honestly for my opinion i feel like left and right by seventeen could be a beginner dance since its very fun and easy to dance along
Do you find it better to learn the whole choreo or say just like the chorus?
There is a part od du-ddu-du-ddu that is kinda hard, it’s towards the end. (at least for me) yet again i’m a beginner LMAO
Du-ddu-du-ddu was the first song i ever learned! It’s been about a year since then and i’ve really improved! Keep practicing and you’ll get it eventually ;)
@@aceofspades3361 ME TOO! I STARTED OUT 1 YEAR AGO WITH DDU×4! But I didnt improve something :))
The last past was easiet for me
It was the first song i learned and I can tell you, the only part I cant get is Lisa's little rap at the beginning and Lisa's part at the end-
It's easy-
Thank you so much for making this!! I was looking for dances bc I really want to start dancing and I thought I should try Kpop dances bc that’s what I listen to mostly, and I thought that it might be easier if I start with songs I already knew. I love that you also explained why each song is easy and what it improves. Thank you so much again for making that❤️
I'm so glad i found this video, i've been wanting to learn some dances, I'll use your video as some kinda of guide, thanks for uploading !!
As you gain confidence and practice dancing, you will be able to master these dances.
which ones do you indicate then?
y'all should really get mirrortube. it's this chrome extension that mirrors videos for u. it's super easy to use and has been sooooo helpful. I just really don't like watched mirrored youtube videos and taking views away from the actually idols (also the mirrored videos on youtube are sometime bad quality). I hope this was helpful! 👍 Happy Dancing!💕
All kpop idols work so hard to practice it! Appreciate it!
All itzy's dances are hard af but I can't help but learnt it because the choreography are so captivating
I didn’t realise how off my body angles were until I saw them on video, so if you want to improve practicing in front of a mirror or recording yourself is a must!
wow, so I literally thought I'd be okay if I tried learning ON by BTS for the first time :D
but the first full dance I learned was fancy by twice and I thought I was so good at it until I actually filmed myself :l
Same I thought I looked good while dancing on fancy but like guess wut😭
me too
THANK YOU SO MUCH IM TRYING TO GET INTO DANCING AND I DONT KNOW WHERE TO START
I wish there were more videos like this, I think they really help and also there's always new kpop dances
This video is so helpful! I've had a lot of trouble finding dances that are beginner friendly, thank you for putting this together!
Thank you for these! I will learn and tell you how I did 😊
Your welcome 💕💕
I started with Not Shy and learned that you actually have to move your leg to dance well :)
I also learned that the mirror isn’t the best thing. Record yourself and BE CRITICAL of yourself
Watch the dance practices in slow motion to catch ALL the details. Look at the head, hand, arms, body, hips, leg, and feet, preferably of the best dancer in the group.
And work on your flexibility because trust me, if you want to learn how to do Onda’s beginning post in La Di Da, you need TONS of flexibility.
Edit: last thing, BE CONFIDENT, or you will never stop looking awkward
i need another video like this with female groups ! you did such a great job !
Thank you so much for this it helped me improve my dancing skills
Your welcome! Glad I was able to help!
for boy group dances I'd suggest Golden Child's LADY, it has relatively easy and slow steps, is very dynamic in terms of sharp and soft movements so you'll be able to learn body control, is very fluid and expressive, and there's a lot of musicality, which is very important to learn and I think this choreography can really help with that
👀 I need more coreographys like this recommendation?
Omg I started with the how you like that choreography and I had never done any kpop choreographies but this one helped me a lot to discover my style and general stuff
I ended up learning itzys wannabe pretty easily but Somis what you waiting for was about a week after that
I’ve learned
How You Like That
(Medium Hard...just uncomfortable if you’re just starting, don’t worry. Nobody cares that you pop your bum a few times)
DALLA DALLA
(Hard...everything is precise, the moves have to be really on point. But this will help you straighten your arms and flip your hair properly)
DU DDU DU DDU
(Really fun to dance to, straight arm improvement. You’ll be able to learn hip movements with this dance)
Recommend for you: ICY- ITZY
Some BlackPink songs
Maybe Feel Special
Thanks for this seulgi swag!!
Ive been wanting to try some kpop songs for beginners like me to improve hehe
I've been a kpop stan for about 3 years and usually learn the dances by watching it but more recently I've been actually trying I look really akward dancing and forget a lot of details It sorta frustrating 😪
😭the problem with me is i can't remember what move comes after
My brain doesn't coordinate with my body😭😭😭
Help same😭😭I watch the choreo and follow the moves but then I forget them straight after. It takes a while to fully memorise😪
Plz make a 2nd part! This was so helpfull ❤
