Ahhh, so many great books! And your hair looks so healthy! I tried Function of Beauty a few months ago. It made my hair super soft at first, but then it got really dry and I experienced more hair loss than usual. I switched back to drugstore products and my hair is back to normal. Bummed it didn't work out for me. But more importantly, congrats on 200k!!!! :)

I'm from Germany so all WW2 books I read were obviously about Germany (or Europe). And through City of Girls, I read about WW2 in the US for the first time and it was fascinating! I really enjoyed that.

I'm thinking of ending things was one of those movies that felt like it was going on for ever which made sense because like an hour and a half of it was just them in the car. I watched it with some friends and we expected more creepiness or something but we didn't really feel unsettled at all. We looked up the book ending and I feel like the book ending is a better ending just because I could understand what was happening

Long Way Down is my FAVORITE book! The end...specifically the last two words of the book was the best part for me. I assumed everyone would get the same conclusion fro the last two words; until my Best Reading Friend read it and got something totally different. Now I want everyone in the world to read this book and get my conclusion. So we can gush about it. LOL
I was the same. I didn’t like a ballad of songbirds and snakes, which I knew I wouldn’t because I was anxious to buy it as I knew I didn’t like president snow. I gave it one star and I recently donated it to savers
