As a metalhead, if the rave and techno party would have be played as it play it the #1 drummer, i would have much more respect for that kind of music.. respect🤘

Most folk don’t get techno or have just never seen what it does to a crowd ….don’t understand it but seeing a dj set is not so much about how the music is made it’s about the track selection, the build up and journey over a two hour set and the mixing. Someone like Ritchie Hawtin can take a few tracks simultaneously and create something new and unique every time. That’s something you don’t get with most bands.Being able to use the equipment properly is a skill in itself also!
I like the variety of the last guy. Tons of different sounds. It’s not just that it takes tons of skill to do what he does, but it’s actually enjoyable as music.
#1 is bar far the best in both technique and ability. #2 is highly overrated as most of what he plays is taught in middle school band. (Not counting stick tricks) #3 is creative and unique and has good timing and rhythm. #4 should be switched with #5. Cheers!
honestly, how can people say the 2nd is the best ? ok, that's a cool instrument he's put up, but the rythm is really simple and linear and honestly not that hard to perform. the last 2 instead have really an amazing music talent, they constantly change rythm, they're incredibly fast, and they even change the objects position and patterns all the time in order to create different sounds. there is just no comparison. you may not enjoy that kind of 'trance' music rythm but you cannot deny it's incredibly good and hard to perform. If I were strolling around there from distance I would have thought it was a really good dj on a set, not a single man with this kind of superhuman skill.
