Coming from a percussionist / drummer as well as DJ / VJ / beat mixer myself that his beats, tempo & rhythmic talent is off the charts as shown by his ability to rearrange the buckets & all his various Instruments flawlessly without ever losing the beat.
my friends and i would gather junk anywhere we found it on the way to the park in the centre of the city - only my brother was close to good as this guy. bicycle wheels add some great sounds. I love what he was doing sliding the cymbal with his foot.
Some day, I just want to be able to drop a hundred in one of those buckets when I see a street performer who can actually do something talented like this. If I had the money, I would do it all the time because they deserve it.
I really love stuff like this, raw musical talent is fantastic thing to see and listen to and this just proves you can express yourself with anything at all, it doesn't have to be expensive.
It's so good to see people that actually value add to society. He has given those spectators a memory they will talk about for years to come, and for what, a bit of loose change.
Just how can anyone give this superb talent a thumbs down.....& why? Jealousy perhaps ! This is raw talent that should be recognised & respected. TheBucketBoy....you are 'FANTASTIC'

Retired professional drummer here from Los Angeles, and drumming is a curse at best, a blessing in disguise as it were. Yes, we do things that seem incredible, even unfathomable to a few, to us it is second nature, as long as our bodies hold up. THIS guy is amazing, a real drummer, and what makes how he is playing harder than a drum kit sorta, is that his left hand bears the responsibility of the bass drum, something a foot would do, so HUGE props to this guy, much respect. Stand out moment for me was @7:17, that was clean, real clean.
