Whitney might of had a shiny Clefairy because in the game of heartgold and soul silver there might be this code for Whitney where she has a random set of Pokémon unlike other trainers who have a predetermined set of Pokémon so Whitney might have just rolled the shiny clefairy in her random odds.
Nope, theoretically, if patterz was lucky enough every single trainer could have a full team of shinies, its VERY VERY unlikely, but possible, because when you change the shiny odds by messing with the code, sometimes trainer pokemon become shinyable (idk if there's a better term)

Half the fun with shiny only is the amount of patience it requires, and the feeling you get when you accomplish such a monumental task. I think I know why the Clefairy and Golbat was shiny it's because he boosted the shiny odds. When the shiny odds get boosted trainers Pokemon can be shiny.
@@A.R_69BTW the only reason I knew that is because I watch another person shiny hunt with double odds and Silvers Golbat with shiny it's a very weird glitch but I think it's pretty cool in the anime some trainers Pokemon were shiny so yeah I think it's pretty cool I mean in the Battle Frontier some of trainers Pokemon can be shiny which is the worst way to find a shiny and thank you for replying to my comment :)
Then do the shiny only run with no increase method lol. You can't degrade someone on how they want to play the game. Method or not shiny had it's own value so if you love wasting your life sitting in a corner finding a shiny pokemon then fine but dont judge others for playing however they want.
