When you buy a diamond price is sky rocket when you get back to the jewelry to sell them, they want to give you peanuts for it,

Now they can MAKE dimonds. The 'diamond' folks poo poo that and of course will ALWAYS put MAN MADE DIAMONDS DOWN.
Why is simple M O N E Y ...they want as much as they can get. Today they also make jewelry out of people's remains.
I'm not knocking real diamonds ...I'm only laughing at the price people are being dooped in paying for them.
I buy my beauitful diamond watches right from over seas. I'm not 'rich' at all but when you make the right connections you can cut out the middle men/women.
If I go to a jewelry store it is mostly to look, or to see what they think of my whatever it is, watch, or ring and they will NEVER GIVE you what you know they will try to re-sell it for if they'd buy it from me at what they want to give me for it.
But if you sent a friend to buy the piece back you know it will be marked WAY UP.
I'm not knocking jewellers they have to make a living like anyone else but when it comes to what's being sold today as in the past you can't tell me they don't go overboard with crazy high prices.
You spend $6,000. on a ring, then say two months latter fall on hard times and need to sell the ring, ...ok you don't expect to get the whole $6,000. back granted BUT you don't expect to be told I'll give you accupple 100 bucks (IF your lucky) eighter.
I went to the same store, the same jeweller where we'd spent $6,000. PLUS on an engagement ring I sware to God the only thing he'd give me for it is $50. !!! I'll never forget it. I needed food for my kids at the time. I vowed that... that...would never happen to me again and it hasn't and never will again, I'd throw the ring in the ocean before I'd give it to that guy again.
Since then I've found over 600 rings in 30 odd years of metal detecting and have found nearly 100 Morgans and other coins.
I'm going to look into selling some Morgan Silver Dollars and some other coins shortly & if they sell well 1st thing I'm buying is a car & house nothing fancy just practical, then save a big chunk, & very wisely invest some so it can make money.
small low quality diamonds have no re sell value .. if u had a VS pink that wouldnt happen

Yeah with little diamonds most people could afford. Not diamonds like these, they’re highly sought by collectors around the world. And someone who buys this diamond certainly doesnt have to worry resale.

FLExteriorCleaning How are diamonds a scam? They look beautiful and can be used in jewelry. People don't get 'tricked' or 'scammed' into buying them... you either want them or you don't. They also serve as an asset, since their value appreciates over time.
Not exactly a scam no but diamonds are not rare at all and they can even be grown in a lab rather easily. The are million of ton of diamonds in many areas but the market is controlled by an oligopoly. Diamond is a lousy investment. Have you ever sold a diamond or know someone who has. They will all have lost a great deal on it. Not a scam maybe but smart marketing schemes to make us believe we buy a rare gem. We don't.
