Once again, great tribute video. I honestly thought this was a really good game with great gameplay and a good season mode. I also thought this game had the best gm mode. To me, this was the last WWE game that's considered to be part of when the smackdown games were at their peak, as after this the series had begun to go downhill. While some WWE games made after this were good, such as SVR 10 and 11, WWE 13 and 2k14, the series never really was great to me again. I really couldn't find too much fun in those games after SVR 07. One of the minor things I hated about the games post SVR 07 was that from SVR 08-2k16, they changed the cutoff date of the games from June to April, meaning that the games no longer had May and June PPV arenas of the year the game came out on. Instead, the May and June PPV arenas were based on arenas from the previous year. For example, SVR 08 didn't have One Night Stand 07 as an arena and instead reused the ECW One Night Stand arena from this game. Make things worse, they only had one post mania ppv arena, which was either backlash or extreme rules. It just shows some unnoticeable laziness, especially since they still had some time to make the game from May and June to October or November. All that aside, overall, you posted another great tribute video.
Thanks for the kind words! It seems to be a cut off point for a lot of people in the series although I enjoyed SVR 08 so much ^^ I will have to see if it holds up when I record that tribute next^^
@@Seanomaniacwrestlingreviews Definitely, when wwe 2k20 comes out, will you do some caw videos on that game? I already know some of those I can see made will include Dean ambrose and rhyno. As for the cut off point, I always go by not just the wrestlers and attires, but also the arenas presented in the game, meaning since 2k20 will probably have the stomping grounds arena as the latest arena, the cut off for me will be June.
@@mtoyt78 I might dip into CAWs for that game my focus will be putting up the Entrance/Signature/Finisher Videos I produce each year first^^ After that I can see myself taking a look at CAWs^^ Yes I assume the game will cover roughly mid 2018 to mid 2019 so the likes of Ambrose, Rhyno, Dillinger will have to be made to make the game accurate^^
