A Couple Thoughts: 1. I think he admitted to stealing the condoms because it was a lesser crime. Maybe he felt it would make him look more genuine? 2. Mickey Finn makes me think of Hard-Knock Life from Annie. I thought it was something old-fashioned. 3. He just wanted to enact a violent fantasy. That is my feeling. I think people who do this don't have motives beyond sickness. 4. I feel horrible for her loved ones. She sounds like a beautiful soul. She still is. He can't touch that.

I only knew she was a law student and heard they found her head in a trash can (obviously incorrect). It wasn't until I watched your video that I learned the truth. He's probably told the police that he'd been burgling apartments incase they find his dna at the crime scene. He can say he was in her apartment when he was in there stealing stuff, like condoms 🙃 it's a weak af excuse but I think that's the only explanation for why he'd just give himself up like that. Also to explain anything that belonged to Lauren in his possesion, again he'd just say he stole them. He's trying to get charged with burglary rather than murder. He probably knew he was gonna be the prime suspect so decided he'd be best off trying to just get a lesser charge coz if he tried saying he had nothing to do with it he'd most likely be found guilty of murder. Basically he was just throwing stuff at the wall and hoping something would stick. Clutching at straws. I do remember this case now, as soon as I saw him and that interview I realised I had heard about this before

I suppose you have to be able to think like a criminal too which is a bit worrying 😅 but I thought it was obvious what his game was. It didn't work but I've seen people get not guilty verdicts because of things like this.

And then the floor board squeaked and she woke up and he panicked and then when she ripped off his mask and saw who it was he couldn't go back. Not that that makes it any better. What a horrible disgusting excuse of a human being. Nobody deserves what he did to her and I hope he never gets parole. Thank for sharing this sad story with us, and allowing us to remember Lauren.

He worked at my husbands middle school back in the 90s and the kids loved him!! Crazy store i think only 1 youtuber has done a case on him!! Fred Rosen wrote a very good book about him called Body Dump!

(Same as the Idaho College students - it was just done because the monster wanted to see what killing someone was like). But knowing what the uncle is guilty of (child related offense) and being the mother with a daughter, I'm sick to my stomach over it. I hadn't thought about him in a LONG time.
