- Up for sale is this beautiful 1984 Honda Interceptor vf750f v45 located in Southern CA. She starts and runs great, clean title in my name with current registration. NO smoke, sounds great with headers and yoshimura pipes, new battery, fresh oil and filter change,

Iconic 40 years old bike
I owned my interceptor in 1983 for a couple years. In 1985 a woman ;
1)Ran a stop sign
2) Made a left turn from a right turn only lane.
3) crossed 3 lanes of traffic and struck me .
No citation was issued . No punishment rendered. This woman had injured 3 other motorists previously. Greenwood mall , Indiana. I've never fully recovered. WEAR A HELMET, it saved my life. The honda interceptor was state of the art. It won many races including the Daytona. I think it was Freddy Spencer.
Honda of Greenwood indiana was supportive in my recovery. I never rode again. Every single detail of a motorcycle "accident" is detrimental to a case. Ride with care, thanks DJB

I had 3 VFRs, one of them an American 700 import. It even had some Arizona sand under the seat. These bikes were fantastic, the smooth delivery of seemingly unending power and the responsive handling. And the engine drone had a purr more than a growl that was distinctive. The best thing was the sense that the centre of gravity was very low.

Identical to mine which was imported here in UK from the USA in the late 1990s. Needs to be fully restored because the previous owner stored it outside by the sea!

Identical to the one I had back in 1986 (apart from the factory mufflers on mine). I can confirm that this bike will do the 240 km/h indicated on the speedometer. :)

I believe so, these are hard to come by. I had a blast while it was in my possession

@@devoonbmx603 it sold for $3k, after swapping out the stock exhaust to headers and yoshimura pipes it flew on the hwy!

I purchased another bike on Craigslist that had those pipes/headers and I installed them on my bike. She ran very poorly so I repacked the mufflers with new fiberglass webbing. She came ALIVE! I would try Salvage Yards, you might get lucky
