It's crazy to me how--particularly with young and attractive women--people are so quick to assume that youtubers are too ignorant or naive to know/do basic, obvious research and safety stuff just because they don't include it in their videos.
Maybe it’s just me, but anyone who doesn’t live in Florida tend to do really stupid things with the wildlife... such as try to befriend gators. Shoot, some of the native Floridians like to wrastle with them so MAYBE just maybe the people saying something just don’t want to see someone else get hurt 🤷🏽♀️
I agree, but every year, people die from being overly confident with waterfalls, cliffs, white water, weather, driving conditions, wildlife, etc. Even experts underestimate conditions. It is most often people from a different habitat and terrain. While no one should assume someone else's ignorance, they should also not assume their knowledge. It is a loving thing to tell people what they need to know, especially when, despite even expert status, it seems like they might need to hear it.
Maybe people care about HLD and don't want to see her get hurt. She doesn't seem to have much experience with snakes and gators. No need to project anything or assume it's because she's a pretty girl.
Gorgeous place and loved seeing you enjoy it with your great new friend! You are so brave! I lived in a cottage in southeast FL in a nature preserve, backing up to the savanna. Oh man! Alligators, enormous rattlesnakes, hidden little venomous snakes, wild boars, bobcats, scorpions, brown spiders. It was insane but at the time I loved it! Except the peacocks were really loud! Thanks for the memories of my great adventure...till two massive hurricanes within two weeks hit the bullseye on my roof! Safe and happy travels! You are a true inspiration for living boldly and brightly!
Omg there is no way I would be walking around in that water. Burmese’s python 🐍 😳. I’m glad I got to see the beauty of the Everglades thru you though 😁
@@HamburgerHelperDeath I completely forgot about them😳 I travelled through the south as a kid and I remember eating on an old riverboat turned restaurant. When you looked over the sides there were so many. Thankfully some friends who were locals warned us about them. the water snakes we have in Canada aren’t poisonous, come to think of it we were warned of so many poisonous critters in the south...lol
Out of the dozens of FL snakes only 4 are venomous, and most alligators tend to be scared of humans more than anything, so the risk is low. But...I still kind of agree with you. Just walking around like that isn’t the smartest.
I love this video! I’ve known Clyde for a long time. To see you with his granddaughter is so cool. They are a wonderful family. It’s nice to see you down here in our neck of he woods. I hope you’re checking out the west coast of Florida. You are an inspiration, even to an old guy. If you can have a cabin (or two) in the woods and travel in a van, I can too.
This video made me cry with just how pure and awesome of an adventure you had together. Living alongside nature, having a mutual understanding, playing in a swamp!!! I have always loved swamps but yeah, it's not usually safe to just chill in the water lol. When you guys were playing in the mud and you got all muddy in your pretty dress...
I lived throughout FL for most of 25yrs, & it's common knowledge that alligators are fast- they can run on dry land about 11 mph. & 20 mph in water, so plssssss be careful!!! xxx
Last week in the comments I asked for more greenery because we are still snowed in and my goodness did you ever come through. Nice job. Thanks. BEAUTIFUL.
23:20 Sweet hannah, I think you can be confident to head North about now. We've had two wonderful days here in South NJ. Finally, we are all going to get relief from Mr. Winter and to see light at the end of our Winter tunnel. Sunshine is warm, sky is blue, plants, trees and abundant critters all seem to be happy. And people too. "Imagine!" You can sense the human vibe is raring to get out and do all of it.
You say you want to go north BUT, you look so healthy and bright and beige, your skin has a glow to it. You look healthy and happy. The sunshine has been good to you and good for you. As always you bring a smile to my face and now I will sleep sound. Awesome video. See you soon.
First option if you run into to a python, grab the back of their head.... I was thinking more along the lines of, run while cursing profusely. Just saying.
You are absolutely bonkers! You know all those shoes were from previous people that went swimming there and never came back! Glad you survived and made a great video with your cool friend, thank you!
Just curious, but I was wondering why you feel this way? (I actually agree, and I'm purely asking out of curiosity as I love to learn about different lifestyles, etc and not to criticize lol)
Great -Nostalgia I’m not sure if you’re asking me or Hannah, but I’ll reply just in case 🙃. My outlook on relationships has changed drastically over the past couple of years, but I’ve never wanted to rely on others in order to live my life, so this is just another tangent off of that topic. I want to teach and nourish, but I don’t want my children to think you have to be married or live with someone to be a normal or successful human. I spent too much of my teens/early twenties trying to force myself into the boyfriend/marriage/kids “structure” and it really messed with my ability to form true friendships, and I don’t want my kids to have to go through that disappointment. I’d be happy to have a good friend with whom I could raise a child, but not have an extended romantic relationship. I may change my mind if someone really great comes along, but I don’t want to put motherhood on hold waiting for or trying to force the perfect fit.
@@crookedcottagefarm6035 I was asking you and thank you for answering and I can def understand where you're coming from. Last time we waded through the Everglade Swamps we encountered a Black Panther, it was only for a few seconds but she had to be the most beautiful animal I have ever encountered in the wild.
Not to be rude but I highly doubt that. Florida Panthers are tanish, you could have seen a dirty one but black panthers do not reside in Florida. Black panthers are in Africa and parts of Asia. Black Jaguars have been spotted very rarely in South America but they are just a genetic variant. Florida Panthers and Mountain lions do not have the genes to produce that much melanin.
Hi Hannah. Your words truly are a light for me. My divorce is almost final, selling the house and moving to another state. The worry and the excitement to plan and execute these huge obstacles settles down with watching your videos. You are one of my favorite chill pills. I think your philosophies are quiet and powerful. Thank you.
I found this video makes me miss living in Florida. There was a gas station down the road from my house. Next to it was a pond with a 10foot chain fence around it and it was FULL of gators. There was a sign on the fence that read, "Don't feed the Gators" and then it cited the Florida Criminal Code. When you walked into the gas station near the register was a big RACK full of BREAD. A sign on the rack said, "Gators Love Bread." Any given day there would be 5-25 people standing at that fence feeding all those gators bread. Mostly people from out of State, but I'll admit..... I also fed them a slice or two on occasion. Ahhhh..... the childhood memories of a Floridian.....
I don’t think that open relationships are about teaching you not to be a jealous person because any relationship will help you grow in that as you must allow your partner to spend time with others as they please. Being in a commuted relationship is about people being committed to each-other and teaches you a lot about loyalty and maintaining commitment, which is far more beneficial for character growth. It takes learning to trust and love one another through anything whilst still playing necessary boundaries and knowing when to take time apart. You’re not jealous for wanting commitment in your relationship, your partner and you need to learn the importance of loyalty and commitment. In fact your very awesome and courageous for being able to keep faithfulness as the foundation of your relationship❤️❤️
@@itssiriaous7477 I was sharing my opinion. I said “I don’t think that open relationships” not “you can’t have an open relationship. Hannah shared her view in the video and I just wanted to say for the people who don’t want an open relationship that they’re not jealous for that. No one has to agree or even read it, I didn’t mean to tell anyone what to do
I believe what Hannah meant by the jealousy thing is becoming immune to it. Maybe she doesn't like feeling jealous and wants to quell that emotion through exercising freedom in open relationships. Personally I don't think I could do it, but I do think it might be more beneficial for letting go of another when it's necessary. Like...Enjoy the closeness and love for what it is, but with a deep understanding that you don't 'own' this person or their actions.
@@pumkiella3003 "your partner and you need to learn the importance of loyalty and commitment" You can do that in open relationships, and people in open relationships are not less capable of these things
I love Clyde Butcher’s photography and was thinking about how you were in his stomping grounds at big cypress and it was so fun to hear at the end of this video that Kayla is his granddaughter! That explains the comfort walking through the swamp! I was born and raised in Florida and have such a love for the Everglades and its unique beauty, I’m glad you’re getting to experience it and share its wonders with so many people through your videos!
It’s been raining, mushy, hailing and miserable where I am at. Thank you for sharing somewhere warm and sunny. It keeps me looking forward to the end of winter here.
OMG, H! You are so brave! NO WAY would I walk through a swamp like you gals did! Kudos to you! And thanks for bringing us along because it truly was fascinating! Teresa
Finally you are seeing the magical parts of Florida. Recently a park ranger in the Everglades photographed a mama panther with her 3 teenager panthers hunting. Some rangers work the Glades for years and years and dont see a single Florida panther and he saw 4! Alligators are now reaching 10 and 12 feet and scare me. One tried to leap onto my pontoon boat where my two dogs were hanging out sunning themselves. There's magic thruout the whole state. Dont miss it.
It is amazing how vulnerable and open you are in meeting new people! This is how it should be🥺 Kayla appears to be a twin soul - both of you appreciate nature, solitude, adventure, he simple things in life. You are both bringing light to this world ❤️
To just go out and be human and enjoy things that are so surreal as laying in a swamp or just being out in the rain. To enjoy another person's company with out the burdens of "life" is something I strive for. This should be the reality for everyone, I hate that this seems like such a luxury. Being able to coexist with nature is what we're meant to do. I wish more people got to experience this. Thank you for sharing such wonderful adventures!
This video fascinates and horrifies me at the same time. I mean it looks absolutely majestic and beautiful but my west coast skin would be all bit up by mosquitoes I'm itching just thinking about it. And the way they interacted with the alligators and snake....like, wow.
That was profoundly inspirational. Communing with Nature, you both look like the goddesses you truly are. All of Life is waiting for such joy and trust and abandonment. I was transported to my childhood days of innocence and trust. I use to chase after snakes and catch them before they could disappears into their holes. Good on you, girls.
@Mersenne I agree but youth is naive and innocence is precious and fleeting. Experience, comfortable or not, will teach them everything they need to know.
This made me to nervous. I couldn’t watch it. I live in Florida. I’ve seen alligators run and jump and they are everywhere. I don’t want to see you get hurt.
The gators here have very very little interaction with humans. It’s not the dry or mating season, so they are less territorial. Also the water is very clear and its flowing. It’s a giant river so the water is very clean, especially in the big cypress our only water source is rain. 💕
i don’t think she has read the multi-multi-multitude of news reports of florida gators attacking people and dragging them under before consuming. zomggg
This is one time I totally am glad I am living vicariously through you. You are really brave or totally insane. 😲 Glad you will live to see another adventure...😂 You outdid yourself on this one!!!

Love your channel and how real you keep it! Seeing as you love to jump in waters and go swimming, I thought I would share a tip with you from years of living in Florida. Where there's ducks, there's no gator! Ducks won't swim in waters where there's alligators. Happy swimming!

This is great you are getting to see the REAL Florida in the wild, because it is really wild and the snakes, and gators are truly wild creatures. This is their natural habitat. Glad you didn’t come across anything big like pythons or poisonous like coral, copperhead, rattlesnake or moccasin. Most likely would have been a non-poisonous water snake or maybe a poisonous moccasin. I am glad you had fun but for viewers new to the glades it would have been nice for you to maybe describe this ecosystem and some of the native birds, reptiles and plants that thrive there. You don’t have to be a guide as such but just give some intro info. As a resident, I often hike in mangrove and sawgrass swamps. Anyone visiting this area would learn a lot by stopping on Rt. 41 at the Big Cypress Swamp Welcome Center to learn more and appreciate it all. The link you provided is also a great source. Your channel is a good one and I often recommend it to my daughter and granddaughter however, other than entertainment, is it really necessary to bring your alcohol back in the swamp? Maybe use the teaching moment to recommend what to pack in for safety and a bit of survival. One item was great, you demonstrated to all the people frightened to death of the swamps that it’s really not so bad and actually quite an interesting place to see.
OMG So cool Hannah!! I work for the Miccosukee Tribe on the Reservation the Everglades is the most magical place! Blessed to have that drive every morning. Glad you were able to enjoy!

Hannah, this was a EPIC vlog seeing the everglades thanks to your forever friend who is a total GEM!! So so so so amazing. I drive through this area on my way home from college all the time but I’ve never made a trip to stay and experience it. Looks like a dream.
Holy SHNAP! Alligators run fast, faster than you can run that's no shit. And that baby one all he has to do is one peep and that Mama will come running. Be careful have fun
Mama gator is very afraid of us. If you walk to close or startle her she’s take off in the water. In the dry season we give her extra space, she gets very territorial over her water and that’s also matting season. 💕 Also the baby we came across is one of mamas old babies (about 3/4 years old). Mama kicked him out cause he’s too big and would eat her newer babies. So he’s all grown up and in his own. As far as the tiny babies, I was keeping an eye on mama, and well, the zoom feature is very handy 🐊💕

Safe and happy travels! You are a true inspiration for living boldly and brightly!
Omg there is no way I would be walking around in that water. Burmese’s python 🐍 😳. I’m glad I got to see the beauty of the Everglades thru you though 😁
Hannah: Gives speech about how she does research when it comes to safety.
Also Hannah: Does tango in alligator/snake infested waters. 😳
I agree getting in the water with water Mocs, pythons, alligators, who knows what else. Nice to see through your lens
Out of the dozens of FL snakes only 4 are venomous, and most alligators tend to be scared of humans more than anything, so the risk is low. But...I still kind of agree with you. Just walking around like that isn’t the smartest.
You girls are crazy playing in that swamp!
I love this video! I’ve known Clyde for a long time. To see you with his granddaughter is so cool.
They are a wonderful family. It’s nice to see you down here in our neck of he woods.
I hope you’re checking out the west coast of Florida. You are an inspiration, even to an old guy.
If you can have a cabin (or two) in the woods and travel in a van, I can too.
ah yes finally my weekly escape from reality
This video made me cry with just how pure and awesome of an adventure you had together. Living alongside nature, having a mutual understanding, playing in a swamp!!! I have always loved swamps but yeah, it's not usually safe to just chill in the water lol. When you guys were playing in the mud and you got all muddy in your pretty dress...
Brave. You could not pay me to go tubing in a swamp with resident gators and pythons.
Meh pythons arent even venomous. You could probably fight one.
....brave is not the word I had in mind-but yay to each his/her own haha
@@patmacrotch5611 You definitely could not. People hunt them in teams around here because they're extremely strong.
This is my idea of a nightmare. Glad you had fun, though!
Real talk 😅
same :D
You say you want to go north BUT, you look so healthy and bright and beige, your skin has a glow to it. You look healthy and happy. The sunshine has been good to you and good for you. As always you bring a smile to my face and now I will sleep sound. Awesome video. See you soon.
First option if you run into to a python, grab the back of their head.... I was thinking more along the lines of, run while cursing profusely. Just saying.
Crying helps.
You are absolutely bonkers! You know all those shoes were from previous people that went swimming there and never came back! Glad you survived and made a great video with your cool friend, thank you!
Glad to know I’m not alone in wanting to be a mother but not necessarily live/be with the father. Thanks for sharing the small, deep discussions ❤️
Just curious, but I was wondering why you feel this way? (I actually agree, and I'm purely asking out of curiosity as I love to learn about different lifestyles, etc and not to criticize lol)
Right because children gain nothing from having both parents.
I actually had watched like all of these documentaries on 'single mothers by choice' and found all of these youtubers with similar ideals and I find it so fascinating and inspiring too
@@crookedcottagefarm6035 It's not about you though. It's about the child. And children do better with both parents, it's statistical facts. Read the psychology.
Last time we waded through the Everglade Swamps we encountered a Black Panther, it was only for a few seconds but she had to be the most beautiful animal I have ever encountered in the wild.
Were you not scared?!
@@lizzie333eee nope
😍
So few of those remain. Very rare sight. You were fortunate
That little one is figuring out if your friend or foe. They like fingers.
Is anyone else getting spine shivers watching our beloved Hannah walking through the swamp? Love you Hannah please don't die xxxx
Please don't tell people what their relationship structure should look like just because it's not the one you value.
@@sorackee yeah so true, I love how you explain it
@@pumkiella3003 "your partner and you need to learn the importance of loyalty and commitment" You can do that in open relationships, and people in open relationships are not less capable of these things
I love Clyde Butcher’s photography and was thinking about how you were in his stomping grounds at big cypress and it was so fun to hear at the end of this video that Kayla is his granddaughter! That explains the comfort walking through the swamp! I was born and raised in Florida and have such a love for the Everglades and its unique beauty, I’m glad you’re getting to experience it and share its wonders with so many people through your videos!
the perfect setting for a horror movie
It’s been raining, mushy, hailing and miserable where I am at. Thank you for sharing somewhere warm and sunny. It keeps me looking forward to the end of winter here.
CONGRATULATIONS on five hundred thousand subs!!!
You are both bringing light to this world ❤️
when are you planning on heading back to your cabin? i can't wait to see what other adventures you have in store! :)
And the way they interacted with the alligators and snake....like, wow.
wow what a dream to be guided through such a wild place with someone who knows and loves it so dearly!!
💕💕thank you for the kind words
@Mersenne I agree but youth is naive and innocence is precious and fleeting. Experience, comfortable or not, will teach them everything they need to know.
One of my very favorite videos from you Hannah! Fun, beauty and so much laughter (and alligators!). Thank you! Lucy
This made me to nervous. I couldn’t watch it. I live in Florida. I’ve seen alligators run and jump and they are everywhere. I don’t want to see you get hurt.
I understand what you mean. I also kept thinking about all the bacteria in the water and ticks...YIKES!
The gators here have very very little interaction with humans. It’s not the dry or mating season, so they are less territorial. Also the water is very clear and its flowing. It’s a giant river so the water is very clean, especially in the big cypress our only water source is rain. 💕
i don’t think she has read the multi-multi-multitude of news reports of florida gators attacking people and dragging them under before consuming. zomggg
@@kaylasky7093 I love seeing your instant friendship!!! Did you two really just meet recently? I love you two saying I love you at the end :)

This is one time I totally am glad I am living vicariously through you. You are really brave or totally insane. 😲 Glad you will live to see another adventure...😂
You outdid yourself on this one!!!
About 40 years from now, she's going to look back and shake her head and say I can't believe I did all that wild stuff! Lol.
i absolutely love how you are so chill about things like laying in mud wearing a snow white dress. you just gotta enjoy life. got a lot to learn from you hannah, thanks for the videos!!
This one gave me a good laugh. The giant hand goosing you had me rolling. Keep chasing that good weather Hannah.
Possibly one of my favourite videos you've done. You two are so natural together. And ALL UP in that nature!
Love your channel and how real you keep it! Seeing as you love to jump in waters and go swimming, I thought I would share a tip with you from years of living in Florida. Where there's ducks, there's no gator! Ducks won't swim in waters where there's alligators. Happy swimming!
Nope - NOT true!!!
Awesome adventure with a nice friend Hannah. Love your quote about being human LOL. Always some Fun pics to see and Love the humor in your videos, you always make me laugh 💗🚐👍
This terrifies me.. And I work with tigers!
Terrifies me too. I wouldn't mind working with baby tigerd but not grown ones. That is scary too.
@@MamaBearPrepper The adult tigers I work with are either the babies that I helped raise, or the other adults via the outside of their enclosure.. If I'm on the inside, they're in their safe lockout area lol :-) They're still intimidating though. Especially at dinner time lol
Wow!! This was fun but unnerving all at the same time! I thought of being in the swamp waters with alligators and snakes just gave me the heebie-jeebies :-) on the other hand I think it was quite exciting at the same time! I’m glad you’re meeting such wonderful friends along the way and having great adventures! Thank you again for sharing❤️🤗🦋
These are the only videos I dont skip though, I try and set aside time to sit and watch the whole thing
How nice you dont fight with time and you guys just relaxed no pressure with life and peoples judgement
Omg this video gave me anxiety hahah I would be so scared of those gators!
The Spanish guitar music as you guys walked into the swamp with those donut “motifed” floaties was hysterical😂
I was wondering what kind of a snake a Floyd was, and then realized…it isn’t…actually…a type of snake😆 Those baby alligators are adorable, and that whole outing looks really fun, though I never would have thought of swamp lounging, myself!
When you said she had “donuts” I thought it was a metaphor for inner tubes...😂
I laughed so good, because why not both?
Me too lol
Thanks for making the world feel a little bit brighter!
bless you!
this is the most avant garde piece of art ive ever seen. this was so beautiful.
OMG So cool Hannah!! I work for the Miccosukee Tribe on the Reservation the Everglades is the most magical place! Blessed to have that drive every morning. Glad you were able to enjoy!

It's amazing to see someone living this free and full of great adventures life... I hope we all can experience it one day
even with the looming threat of an alligator, it still seems so incredibly peaceful
That is why they are efficient killers...you’ll have no idea they are near!😅
So cool! A once in a lifetime experience and a memory you'll cherish the rest of your life. It's nice to see you collecting experiences rather than things. So many try to fill the void with things only to find that those things just weigh us down and never fill us up.
I live by the swamp and you will never catch me walking through those waters. Hell to the no! Hannah you have some balls. Lol
Beautiful, Hannah. What an adventure and what a blessing with a sweet soul. Good to see you happy. Safe Travels. Thanks for sharing.
Hannah, this was a EPIC vlog seeing the everglades thanks to your forever friend who is a total GEM!! But alligators and poisonous snakes love to keep wam under vehicles, so always drive up a bit before getting out of your van each morning when parking nearby swampy terrain in Florida. Please stay safe. Love you! 💖🙏🏻💖

This is perhaps the most beautiful video, I have been following you for about 7 months and it's been the best months of my life
You probably already know this or many other subscribers have told you this, but do you realise the amazing gift you are to us all, to bring peace and healing to someone just by being you and loving your everyday life
I never thought I would say this to another person, but you bring me joy even when you are just running around in your cute dresses

That swamp romp was really dangerous in so many ways - so glad you didn't get hurt!
I feel the same way about snakes. It’s the movement for me that gives me goosebumps
Wow, wonderful video! And scary as well sometimes. 😳 Thank you and Kayla for showing that beautiful part of Everglades. I've never been there and have no idea what it looks like.
Yep. They can run and jump far!
I loved this. I would not ever ever do this, but I so enjoyed watching and feeling your little fairytale vibes! 💖
