Just picked up a RS Opal today from Infiniti Valencia. In person it’s awesome, third Q50 RS, 2019, 2022 and 2023 today. Such reliable cars even when driving them hard.

@@cyrilmatthew2995 as you drive it you for sure notice it when steering it feels weird, almost like disconnected from the wheels but its still turning when u move it to.

@@vozemusic since 2014 when they went for the non mechanical steering system...it's like that... It's weird ..
But I don't think anyone in america cares about it ... People drives mammoth trucks and front wheel drive crossovers and automatics ...so I blame Infiniti alone for that

you would think you would own a q50 red sport by now with how many times you have reviewed it. This car will never change

I've owned three Q50's. My latest a 2021 RS. You're right! They are unfairly maligned by nearly every reviewer. Thanks for being honest!!
    I'm likely to lease a 2024 RS!

People only hate on infiniti because of the hate hype of Nissan and infiniti are going on right now. We see teenagers owning 03-13 infiniti g35/37 doing burnout/donuts because they are reliable and have a strong engine. We barely see any European and domestic in the 2000s on the road today or it will break down doing donuts. Vr30 is a nice platform and most car person know it. Just look at the dodge challenger when came out in 08 and still look the same and people don't even talk poop about it

I enjoyed my 2016 Q50 Red Sport, traded it when there were never any significant changes on later models. Infiniti is stuck in quicksand, and CVT models (not the Q50s) doesn't help. Now Infiniti's biggest problem is Genesis, my GV70 3.5 Sport Prestige has everything I wanted the next Infiniti to be; cutting edge tech, comparable performance, luxury level fit/finish, beautiful styling, 10 year warranty, concierge service, just a better vehicle. Too bad, I owned 3 Infiniti's in a row so I'm far from a hater, but living off the Nissan parts bin is not a way to compete in 2023.

We don't need like tv inside car .- however this has a ridiculous two screen system
We don't need too much complex systems
We want a sleeper ...thats unique and different

lol the q60 front end is ugly in comparison to the redsport q50. the rear however is a little bit more edgy

The people hating on the Q50 usually wind up getting unreliable cars that break down and age far quicker

I had a 2019 red sport , and nothing was reliable about that at all it stayed in the shop due to the belt flying off destroying components in the eng bay ..I have a 23 BMW x3M love it! , but I don’t keep my cars forever so I’m not stun’n reliability. Infiniti lacks innovation that’s why the tech is old , but the engine is great. The transmission for me in that car I didn’t like at all..The lest innovation the car has , the more reliability it will gains. Innovation an reliability don’t always go hand an hand.

Nice review, but I still can’t believe that infiniti is still building this car & selling it for 63k with it’s dated platform, interior layout, tranny, and tech..eng is good tho. For that price point I’ll just get the well equipped 23 bmw M340i. If you’re going to keep the same car forever, follow dodge and build a motor thats going to give str8 line performance cars like the hellcat or something. I am just saying , make it make sense infiniti. Jus my opinion

Most people who say that the style hasn't change are normally people who never even owned one. The Q50 makes me want to drive and go out more. I had an M37 and although it was the most quietest and most confortable ride. It didn't have the thrill like the Q50. I had to get rid of BOTH car and traded in for a QX60 because I have a large family. But looking to get a used on in the future for my own personal ride. But you know what car beats all of them? The Nissan Xterra Pro-4X 2015.
