- In this next quick tips video, we'll look at another well hidden feature on the BR 1600:
How to record audio, such as a "count in" or a "free form" intro BEFORE measure 1 in a song.
Great tip!
Far out, I never knew this and have had my BR-1600 since it was released! My tutorials on the BR-600 & Br-800 has over 500,000 views..
I know right! It took a bit of time to figure out how it was done, as there is *nothing* about doing this in the manual or anywhere online.
This is why I wanted to do these short tips videos, to highlight some of the little known or undocumented features.
Thanks for the comment Tony - I watched *all* of your BR600 tutorials back in the day too 👍
Not sure what that was about. Was it just bringing in the drums, bass, loop after a few bars ? I just play them at the start for timing then erase them.
The purpose is so that you can have your song start on Bar 1 of the song (and still include a count in - without having to delete it) or if the song has a "freefom" section before the song, you can have Bar 1 be when the actual song starts.
very informative, how do you record your music onto a cd, cheers.
Thanks SD!
Is there a specific issue your having with burning CD's?
@@masteringtoolkit i just don't know how, i thought you might make a vid on how to, cheers.
@@speeddemon9555 Ah OK, thanks for the suggestion. I will definitely add it to my list to do.
