    In 1976 right after I totaled my 1970 442 convertible I bought for $1990. I bought my 1972 cutlass Supreme for $1990.

    This afternoon I was talking with my friend I told him about your channel and Maple Motors so could watch. The thing I like about your cars some might need a little work others don't but you can get a classic car and just drive it

      It's not a Cutlass, it's a 442, they are different models and VIN's. That's like calling a GTO a Tempest. Cheers

      Kick down not working, I’m sure if he had grabbed the shifter and let those secondaries open full tilt he would have set back in that seat. Wasn’t the motor supposed to be gold anyway??

      @@jamescook1919 Yes, sir. I did notice the kick down not working. He manually, pulled it down a couple times. I know, the 350 and 455 Rocket engines were gold. I don't believe this 455 was considered a Rocket. It was rated @ 360-370 h.p. 500 lb.ft. though.

    I guess I’m too picky, everything, everything, has to operate correctly. There’s just no excuse, especially for guages. Defrost depends on the blower, and is hence a safety violation if it don’t work. It don’t cost a lot to make this stuff work. I work on cars and trucks. Good video as always, have that front end checked out, and don’t gets involved with some litigious person, who can’t drive good anyway.

    • @danhoyland142
      @danhoyland142 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Everyone knows what it means but the fact your saying that you could only get one with a 4 speed is wrong. That moniker was used to make it appeal to young people bc at the time Olds was seen as an old persons brand and the fact their company name was “olds”mobile did not help either. Olds was just trying to stand out like Pontiac did in 64 with GTO and hop on the muscle car bandwagon.
