@@Ersb99 Bats can't land in any part of your territory whatsoever. They have to come through front doors if that's the only way up. If there are ledges next to your roof that frogs can stand on, then yes they can jump in, but if you are even 1 floor higher, no they can't either.

My peoples!!!! I know like me you guys are neck deep in V rising, especially today with the release... but there is a mildly spoken about thing... video for you guys. When players make their own map, or private game and you can mess with the "Advanced Server settings". THE ONLY video I was able to find on the ENTIRETY of TH-cam is wrong. Seriously, quick search, one video, absolutely incorrect information... I actually for the first tim in 2 decades... reported or flagged a video for providing misleading information. If you guys can please release a quick video, does not have to be fully edited, just a complete explanation of the elaborate settings available. How do I know this is an issue? Myself and a different group on a different server that they were making as well are now on our 2nd and the way things are going, 3rd server restart. Remember people... most of us are idiots. Happy Hunting!!!

Awesome, stable game with tons of content and fun gameplay. Its more polished and jas more to offer than most finished games, and its still in early access. This is a must have, 10/10 can recommend.
Why would it auto open tho? One press of a button makes it open, when you tab again bags are still open so tehre you go if you want it to be open always. If it was forced always to open personally i wouldnt like it because i want to see stats and armor, also it would be hustle for people who swap armor and jewerly often (also me).
@@misterfister7714 i think it was a ui descion. in the beta i tried to always keep my bag open so I could see if had something in it. compulsive sort does helps unless you have a teammate that doesnt give af.
I'm playing on PVE server and I've found that for more functionality you have to build a loot storage near the entrance. Than i've build workshops like a circle with open doors and with a castle heart in the center. So when i'm back from farm I can run a circle between loot room and then to each workshop to place a resourses for recycling. Near a loot room there is a teleport to the dark throne on the second floor to make some orders. So its comfortable to play because different items require different amount of resorses - flowers, metals and so on. If you gonna store them in each different workshop there will be a lot of time time to check the recipe then to gather all things. Some resourses are used not very often such as blood, clay, gems, jewels, artifakt wepons and papers. I strore them in workshops and grab when i need running that circle.
Stuck at work waiting for 3 day floating holiday to kick in after work. Was going to go in blind, but like Good Ol' Doc Brown I thought"What the Hell!" The game looks sooo good and I cant wait to jump in and see not only the changes but all the Old servers OGs come back. Its gonna be Crazy!!
@@Vauhnn well I wholeheartedly agree because I loved battlerite but the studio is small therefore starting a project like Vrising with constant updates and fixes is a bit overkill. Still they could have added one or two characters before leaving the game to rot...
Honeycombing does still have its advantages, but don't forget, castles can now be multi-story, so you're aesthetic rooms and such can simply be on the 2nd and 3rd floors, while the bottom can be dedicated to defenses with Tomb spawners, Servants, and honeycombing. Plus a castle teleporter can be placed right at the entrance so you personally can always just skip that bottom floor.
Another thing with stairs is that they seem to count as walls. However, it's not a wall at all, so you can "jump off" the stairs and into whatever room the stair was next to if you didn't put an actual wall there.
I tried this game on launch and didn’t really get into it, but since this new update I’ve been grinding it a lot. Only issue is the performance, I got a pretty good rig and fps drops, gpu overheating and lower frames in general are prevalent in V Rising. Hopefully they can fix performance later on.
That's weird, I'm literally running an fx 8320 with a gtx 1650 on high in 1080p and I hardly have any issues, very slight lag every once in a while at most I don't track my fps tho
Man, the difference between my castle and yours smh. My castle is just a single, large room with my coffin and my servants. I play solo but I got a long way to go, especially on designing stuff apparently.
We are in the process of actively playing on a PvP server. We want to make sure we test all these new ideas before recommending them but it's on our radar
How many servants you can have now with this update in 1 territory? 9? Because i remember with stacking castle hearts, you was able to have 9 servants at each heart, and for official was a good thing to be fair, considering during offline raids servants are the only real thing defending against clans teaming up.. I really loved and enjoyed this game when it released but i was hoping on more content ''defences'' for offline raiding. For example even some kind of carnivore plants defending the base or something like ''turrets'' . I guess even tombs are now limited wich will be even easier to raid peoples, and ofc now more than before offline raiding will be the way to go for clans looking just for loot and avoid fights

What is the point of durability? It just slows down things, can't it just be removed? It's one of those mechanics that nobody likes that keep getting included just because...
Its to prevent people (especially lower lvl trolls) constantly attacking your castle without any risks. Also its a survival game, so you are expected to always look out for loot. I found that once you are able to get a resource to finish your first copy of an item, additional copies are really easy to make (so you can maintain the durability easily). Its really not that big of a deal imo. Would love to have it removed from jewelry though.
" its a survival game" That's what I have a problem with, it's a feature that gets repeated just because other games do it. Well, some games do it to artifically increase play time, so your progression is slower since you have to constantly find materials just to maintain your tools. But that isn't good design. The biggest problem with durability is that it will make players more passive, afraid of using their tools, tools that they have already worked for, because they need to keep restocking just to repair them. Repairing tools is simply not a fun mechanic... there is no nice feeling that one gets when repairing a tool... they have fun fighting and farming new materials, but then there is a not fun downtime repairing stuff.
They should probably just get rid of the full loot pvp servers also. How long it takes to farm gear in this game they are kinda pointless. They are populated for the first few hours and then they die before 24 hours even passes. I am cool with dropping all your inventory but there is no reason for the option to have all armor and weapons drop even exist.
try it first, it's really not that bad. You get double yield on full loot servers. Not to mention everything is overhauled progression wise, we really wont know how much of a hassle it is until it launches. And there's always private servers.
This game badly needs a dumb button to dump all mats into proper chests when you get into your base and also being able to craft from those chests. You spend WAY too much time running around digging through chests.
Compulsively Count dumps same name mats into that specific chest. Organize your chests once, and never organize them again. Crafting from chests though, would be incredible.

Wait to you see the battlepass "ashes" each season there will be 3 pay to win mechanics that allow whoever purchases the accelerated battlepass/tiers will be able to claim those well before any people who dont pay.

@@Spriktor .....that guy is a troll yup. Been playing since the start, I never expected it to be a 4090 benchmark title. You guys have made a fun experience that I have diving into on and off. Bought 2 more copies for my buddies. I have not done that in YEARS! I have a bleeding edge computer and have played games that make my radiators BOIL! I have modded Cyberpunk into the extreme, graphically making people shocked when they see it!!! Still recommended and play V Rising over all of that.
@@markarato8034 i not trolling just I think that this game feels and looks like early alpha because many aspects of game is missing, graphics looks like PS1 game but it's ok because 15 years ago was time of best games. And you are right that this game is in better state than most of AAA games these days but even cellphone games are in better state.

Having the bags not default open to the left side of the paperdoll makes no sense to me. But I'm glad the bags are in the game!

Honeycombing does still have its advantages, but don't forget, castles can now be multi-story, so you're aesthetic rooms and such can simply be on the 2nd and 3rd floors, while the bottom can be dedicated to defenses with Tomb spawners, Servants, and honeycombing. not all things got improved. sanguine coil got moved from a low level boss to an endgame boss. Makes solo play much more painful

They will wipe the official servers each 6 months, so you have to start at the beginning each reset.

wondering can you allow teleporting with the bags full through sever side , or is it locked ?
I believe there are custom settings for teleporting with items, but we personally dont run a server to be able to check.

please remove teleportes from inside the castle, it breaks all the immersion
They are disabled during sieges and you dont have to use them yourself, stairs also work flawlessly.
