This is footage from the upcoming BF3 Legacy Update that completely reworks all assets, setting a new graphical achievement that we never thought could be possible in bf2. Sleepkiller's Shader patch is highly recommended.

This looks PHENOMENAL! I'm honestly surprised the BF2 engine can even handle these graphics 🤯

This looks phenomenal!! Both Star Wars Battlefront 2s are up there as some of my favorite games of all time. Seeing all the work thats going into restoring lost Battlefront 3 makes me so happy. I would give the world to get a new game like this. Thank you for the amazing work
Man, This would've been phenomenal in 2006/2008. Imagine what this franchise could've achieved with today's technology (not talking about EA's star wars of course)

No I mean you will still be able to play the game like before graphics wise as for if you want the game to look like mine Well I’d reccomend you have powerful computer to use the shader patch or you could try setting the shader graphics options down to low with a less powerful computer. I run my game and shader at max settings

its awsome that the AI works now i remember when in early videos the clones and droids would run into walls, die and lag but now they are well programed and can fight you and help you.

Kathleen Kennedy put a moratorium (gag order) on anything in Star Wars that had content from before she was handed control by George Lucas. She has unfortunately made damn sure that NOTHING gets past that.
aside from minor issues for example mace windus lightsaber not being in his hand instead is on the outside of it this is amazing

The fact that mods pretty much always outdo whatever developers do due to the fact that they can make whatever they want without a CEO directing their work, also this is REALLY not that impressive in the grand scheme of modding throughout the years
I can only assume that IF 3 had gotten made officially, it would've been on the PS3 and the 360 at the very least. There's no way the PS2 could've handled graphics like this.

You got battlefront 3 on psp. Its bugged and graphic faced massive downgrade obviously but game is pretty fun to play

@@U9DATE Yeah, the latter. Since a PSP version was released it would probraly be similar to what Rockstar did with Liberty City Stories.
It would have been cool to see, since the engine would have been different from what Pandemic used. Since the engine Rebellion did for Renegade Squadron must have been quite lightweight, (since it was tailored for the PSP) It wouldn't have feelt like those awful ports we often get nowadays to 'weaker' consoles, where they take an demanding port and dial the graphics to zero.
How to play this newest version with the new animations and shaders? The 2021 on ModDB is obviously an older build.

where did you get the graphics mod from ? I cant seem to get bf2. Sleepkiller's Shader patch to work with the BF3 Legacy mod. when I have the graphics mod on the game wont start. think you can help lease ?

I don't know but I don't think so. Mods are usually exclusive to PC.

Yeah its one of the best feature in star wars Battlefront 2005 and it should be in newer games but it is what it is
