    I'm not a Kubota guy, I'm a John Deere Man, BUT I really like your Kubota UTV set-up that's fricking sweet!

    How's this compare to using the ventrac on driveways? A lot better?

    I am really interested in a similar setup. My biggest concern is the low clearance underneath and getting stuck. Have you driven it on unplowed roads? (not 2-3 inches, like 10 to 15 inches) The plows are not always timely and they definitely leave large windrows.

    That's quite and effective setup for residential driveway snow clearing. Do you charge extra for the hand shovelling in front of the garages?

    Awesome setup ☕

    This is a cool setup. After the drive is dragged clean, why do you turn off the PTO between snowblowing pushes? Also, if the driver didn't shovel you could do probably 20-30% more driveways. We have people drive separately in cars and trucks doing the shoveling. It can be any car, and can be done before or after the drive is cleared. Saves us a lot of time. We have inverted blowers on tractors and are thinking of switching to this kind of setup due to the faster transport time. But the tractor is a lot faster on the drives when it get there. Each of these would take a 80" tractor inverted blower about 60 seconds. Thank you for sharing how you run this setup. Do you have many breakdowns with the Daniels box?

    Nice setup👍🏻. Curious if you are running the poly strip as the cutting edge on your daniels pull plow or if you went with metal? Wondering about potential driveway damage. Thx

    Cute...what about normal, 1 ft. to 2 ft. snow...

    • @jamesmiller7911

      Our town has one with a v plow, they are no joke. I wouldn't doubt running through 2 ft of snow, obviously it's not the best option given blade size, but they are heavy duty.

    Hello Great Video. We have the exact same snowblower setup. Our gearbox under the RTV that gives power to the snowblower makes a load rattling noise when the engine is at idle and not moving, without the PTO engage. The rattle goes away when you engage the PTO for the snowblower. Does or did your machine make any strange noise like this. We think it is coming from the PTO clutch when it is not engaged. It is quite loud.

      I send one guy out in the RTV and he does between 33-37 properties. Thats including all the sidewalks and stairs.

    • @Drisdelle09
      @Drisdelle09 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      How long does 37 laneway a take? By my estimation it appears to be about a 2 minute job for the average laneway, then factor in travel time between laneways.
      In a condensed suburb you could pick up 100-200 contracts just on one street alone, would you be able to manage that in an 8-12 hour working day?

    • @andreh.dupuis8475
      @andreh.dupuis8475 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      the sidewalks and stairs add a lot of time, on average more time then the driveway because it is a hand shovel and small walk behind snowblower. I estimate 2 minutes each average sized 2 cars wide driveway, so thats 30 an hour plus travel from one driveway to the next.. again this travel time is contingent on the proximity between customers. So for 100 driveways at minimum 3.5 hours plus travel plus stairs and sidewalks.. high variability depending on sidewalks and proximity..😊

    I am so torn between this set up or a 40hp tractor with an inverted blower, how long is the set up ( for trailering purposes)

    • @stealthmowed5042
      @stealthmowed5042  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is about 15ft with the pull-plow. If you are going to trailer it I would recommend a tractor. You will get more power for your buck!! I love this RTV because of its road speed. We drive it all through town and the travel speed is what makes this unit great for us. I love the idea of a tractor with an inverted snowblower, I just worry about how it would work if you get a massive snow 12-18 inches. If you can't back over the snow an inverted snowblower is not much good.
      This might be a better option

      @@stealthmowed5042 thanks for the input, we would be driving it around during the winter but for long trips or storage/maintenance I just wanted to know if my 12ft trailer would work. I love that your able to add a second worker in this as well as road speed compared not a tractor. That blower in the video you sent is pretty badass aswell, so many options out their in today's market.

    I don't understand this setup. what is the point of dropping $45000 for something that has to driven around by $60000. And how can you drive a trailer in over one ft of snow.

    • @Redrunner95
      @Redrunner95 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ideally this would be used on dense routes, subdivisions where you may have 30 homes etc. It doesn't make sense to tow it from home to home.

    One comment I saw in a different video relating to using the blower was a gentleman said he had to replace the gear box and drive shaft 4 times due to the gearbox turning all the time. He said even the sales guy said kubota knows it’s a problem. Could you comment on this? Have you had issues?

    • @stealthmowed5042
      @stealthmowed5042  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have not had any problems with the gear box. I did have a hydrolic cylinder valve that was cracked cause the snowblower to slowly lower when raised. That was covered completely by warranty. So far we have 250 hours on the machine and it has all been snow removal. Thank you for watching
