To anyone watching this video, there's a model of Inno3D RTX 3060 Twin x2 LHR which only has two heat pipes to cool the GPU, the thickness of its thermal pads are, 0.5mm for VRAM chips, 1mm for VRM on the GPU. I hope anyone who is in trouble regarding that card finds my comment useful.
у меня 0,75 на VRM, точно такой же с двумя термотрубками. Думаю размер нестандартный где-то между 1мм и 0,75мм.
@@UserOne-ct6jk I don't understand Russian but for the variant I have mentioned in my comment, the thickness of VRAM pad is NOT 0.75mm. Its 0.50mm

Is the thermal pad size for all of the rtx 3060 cards??
Do you have the 3070 variant of this card? That one has like 4 different thickness of pads, all the info I found online are quite spotty.
I haven't done the 3070 on this particular card yet..maybe someday i'll let you know bro.

причем у меня с завода стоят 0.75мм на vrm и 2 мм на чипах памяти

Triple fan gpu always better than dual.. But INNO3D as Brand in particular seems alright bro to be honest.. They perform really well as expected similar to other brand with dual fans, but the good thing regarding this particular brand is a bit cheaper compare to those popular brand like MSI, ASUS etc.

Thats a good question..not a lot of gpu or laptop manufacturer used a thermal putty. My own opinion i really prefer to use a really good quality thermal Pads over a thermal putty..because thermal pads has more advantages and tested that perform well..using putty if you are not sure about the exact measurements of the gap. Thermal pads is more efficient and can be reuse.
that job could be done cleaner and with more care and attention to the gpu chip and thermal pads.....good job overall ,but it can be better

I would say better to replace them with High Quality pads & paste, then Clean the Fans & heatsink thoroughly.
In Japan, it is difficult to obtain thermal pads with a thickness of 0.75mm. Can a 1mm thick thermal pad be used as a substitute for a 0.75mm thick thermal pad?

That depends, whatever the manufacturer's recommendation thickness should be the best to use. But if its not possible for you to find those recommended one, try to use as close as possible and make sure to use a soft pads to ensure a good contact with the chips and heatsink plate.
Thank you very much! Actually, when I measured it, the VRAM pads of the board I possess were not 0.75mm but 2mm, and the shape of the heatsink contact surface had changed.

Hi can i ask , if i don't remove backplate does warranty sticker stay intact ?
Normally, most of the Manufacturer's Warranty sticker of the GPU are stick in the Big screw that attach the Heatsink and the gpu die or chip. As long as you don't torn or damage the warranty sticker and your warranty is still valid..that should be fine. That sticker is your lifeline incase of factory defect. hope this helps.

That depends of which Country you are from..try in Amazon.com, ebay or Aliexpress.com, Aliexpress they normally ship Worldwide.. but check their website first before you buy to make sure.
