- Let's go inside the most unique and bizarre pyramid in all of Egypt! Located about 30 km south of Giza, the necropolis of Dahshur features the most challenging pyramid to explore. The Bent Pyramid was built more than four millennia ago by the founder of the Fourth Dynasty - the pharaoh Snefru.
You will see rare footage and hear lesser-known facts. I will tell you about the Bent Pyramid, its complex, and about discoveries.
It's a must-see video for all who visit Egypt or Giza - the country of the first pharaohs. Watch this video to appreciate and cherish the magic of the place before you travel to Egypt. My vlog / full documentary will give you a little taste of ancient wonders: ancient architecture, ancient beliefs, and ancient history.

I guess he did achieve a form of immortality...we still know his name. Glad you were allowed to film freely there. It definitely looks like a tight fit! Thanks Irena, great work as usual! 🖖☺️🤘🇨🇦❤️
Thank you so much Colin ❤️
Another amazing episode Irena! I really love how you show all the details about the architecture of the pyramids! Also I love the explanation about the historical context! Thank you very much for your work! ♥ 😃
You have the best footage, and most informative documentation of the pyramids that I’ve ever seen. Thank you!
Thank you so much 😊 best regards ✌️
Спасибо большое за экскурсию ❤ ждём новых походов в Египте пирамиды
What I like most of your videos is the time you take to explain the monument and the views offered. Please keep doing the great job you are giving us. Your friend in Key West Ingrid Holm.
Thank you so much Ingrid :)
As you say @ around 16min...The duality of the angle difference in the lower to upper parts is clear in the construction of this Pyramid. It is clearly a functional and symbolic element in the construction. Thanks for sharing this wonderful discovery
Thanks for watching! Best regards ✌️❤️
Excellent tour video of the Bent Pyramid! We are looking forward to more of your pyramid adventures.
Thanks for watching
You keep adding to what I thought was my fairly complete knowledge of the pyramids. Thank you, Irena. I have only been in the Great Pyramid. Your research and knowledge of the nuances of each pyramid is illuminating.
Egyptology is such a vast field, I learn something new every time I'm there or when I'm preparing my videos. Thanks again for watching
you can see why so many themes and album covers are based on this ancient culture in Metal Music, killing Joke even recorded an album "Pandemonium" in the Kings and Queens chamber of the great Pyramid. This is fascinating. Wow! Just Wow!
An adventurer`s pyramid! 😄 Thanks for sharing Irena! Well done!
Thanks!✌️
Very good video and so informative. Well researched information and excellent camera work. Please keep it coming 👍👍👍
Thank you so much 😊✌️❤️
Thank you so much, your film is very informative and interesting !!!! I learned alot from this film , most people don't go very far ,they stop and don't go all the way as you did !!!! They complain about the HEAT ,, you didn't !!!!! You are very Brave to go past those BATS !!!!! Again thanks for your time and effort !!!!! Great JOB !!!!! TERESA HAYWARD CALIFORNIA USA

Beautiful voice and well pitched.
Thank you
Beautiful Video, as is the ancientsitegirl. Thank You ❤🙏
Thank you so much
Thank you Irena for another great adventure 😊
Thanks for watching ✌️
I'm so glad you're back in Egypt. GREAT
sneferu, built three pyramids, Meidum, red pyramid, and bent pyramid. All this in about 30 years of his life. It's a project, even more impressive than the Great Pyramid at Giza, but, there isn't even a papyrus or inscription that describes everything he did.
Congratulations... excellent work and dedication... always count on my support...be happy... bye....Namaste🙏
Thank you so much Alberto😊
@@ancientsitesgirl Thank you very much too...Irena...I'm really loving it...Gratitude...Namaste🙏
I’m always excited to see a new video from you. Please continue when you can.
Wspaniały film, ciekawa historia. Zdjęcia, muzyka rewelacja.
Dziękuję
Absolutely stunning, thank you so much for sharing your obvious passion for this fantastic subject 😬😬🙏🏻
Thank you so much Gary ✌️😊
Thank you for the interesting video.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you very much for showing us the bent pyramid, it gives me an idea I need to be prepared mentally to enter such claustrophobic passage 😃😃😃
Was just there 3 weeks ago, I have some of the same videos getting in and out, that connecting small hallway was crazy to navigate.
My most relaxing place on the web. Thanks @ancientsitesgirl. Sending much love from Morocco!
Thank you so much 😊
Great video. Relieved to hear I’m not the only one who found exploring the inside of this pyramid hard work!
Great footage and narrative .i like your work.
Thank you for your excellent work and knowledge. I went there last year but only
managed to go down to the bottom of the entrance shaft, when the lights went out.
It happened to me too, luckily I always have my flashlight with me. Thanks for watching✌️❤️
Well done braving it out with all the bats in there, you done really well Irena. This was a really exciting episode, I loved the way you talked us through it. Did you do a separate video for the red pyramid, I would love to see that one too. I still cant believe the pyramids are ancient, it must have been so hard to build them, theres so many blocks, you just wouldn't know where to start...You are so cool, I wish I was out there with you.
Thankyou so much AncientSitesGirl, you are the best. Love always
🧡🧡🧡
Thank you so much Mark❤️I made a video about the red pyramid a long time ago, it's one of my first ones😋 but I feel like I'll have to come back to it and film it properly
@@ancientsitesgirl
Oh excellent thankyou, I will go back to the start to watch that one. I need that to be fresh in my mind with the bent pyramid video. And of course you feel you have to go back, you will learn more everytime you visit and just like you said, we know less about these pyramids than the others, maybe you will be the one to make some great new discoveries. Take care and I look forward to your next new video. I love you Irena - 'Peace Goddess' 🙂
✌🧡🧡🧡
Thank you for the video, I enjoy it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿✌🏿✊🏿❤️🖤💚
Thanks for watching ✌️
SO glad you did this one! Very nice job.
Very well done.
Thanks
Very interesting journey and soothing presentation, thanks. And u look like an actress, very elegant.
Thank you 😊
I am from Cairo, Nasr City. If you want to go out one day, let me know. I will be happy to do so and show you the beauty of Cairo❤
Wish I would have had the time to visit the bent pyramid when I visited Egypt in 2005, maybe next year! Great video! Tunnels under the pyramid? Cheers!
Was in Egypt in 1985, loved it. Your channel is like being there again, including places I couldn't go bk then. Tx so much!
Excellent there is something special about the bent pyramid. You are the Best. Thank you
Thank you so much
great job as always, thank you dear❤❤❤
Thanks
Good job my lady, the heat and bats and tight spaces, you did a great job💪😁🤘
Thank you!
Thanks..👍
Thanks for watching!
Dobra robota. Świetny film, przyjemnie się to ogląda. Brawo!!!🤓🤓🤓
Dzięki 😉
Beautiful pictures as always!!
Thanks ✌️
Awesome, can you make a video on ancient high tech?
Wonderful video! I will be going to Egypt this November and I plan on going to the Bent Pyramid. Thanks for making this and giving me a heads up on the tunnel down there. You mentioned it being hard to breath inside for the most part. I am glad there is a spot where there's a lot of ventilation. I hope I don't get claustrophobic while exploring inside!
Dużo informacji, pięknie nagrane . Brawo , tak dalej👍👍👍
Dziękuję
Thanks for sharing your work and your passion. Shared to X.
Czekam z niecierpliwoscia na kazdy kolejny odcinek :)
Good background music and lighting. Great narration and smile. 🚴♂️❤️👍😎
Hi, I'm loving the videos! Very high quality and informative.
Do you have any idea or thoughts on how the Ancient Egyptians lit the tombs while carving and painting deep inside of them? I don't think flame torches were used.
they find oil lamps everywhere, although today mirrors work well in tombs (I tried) I don't think the Egyptians had such... good question
@@ancientsitesgirl thanks for the response, I appreciate you for taking the time! I’m trying to think about how they did things back then. I’m making a 3d reconstruction of a tomb as one may have looked while it was being built. And one thing I’m noticing is how dark it can get. Adding little oil lamps definitely helped :-)
I got shocked in here. i dont think the lights were grounded right or something. If i touched the side wall in the corridor I could feel voltage in my arm.
beautiful
Thanks! ✌️
Thanks for the in depth look at this structure I barely knew about. I can’t help but wonder why the odd sized passage ways were used. I admire your courage and especially your agility in traversing those narrow passages.
Great stuff keep it up.
Greetings from the UK.
I think some major psychological consideration was behind the decision to complete the bend pyramid even though it required a much less steep angle of inclination. Since the blocks were not made in a highly regulated manner, they couldn't simply disassemble the whole thing and start over with the Red pyramid as a superior replacement, so in order to 'save face' and not look forever like a king who build a massive failure, they had to finish it even though it would never look right.
Like SpaceX and their constantly evolving rocket designs, the pyramid designers had to continually innovate new improvements and incorporate new and different features... which culminated in the Great Pyramid...with it being the final great pyramid and the center pyramid preceding it. That seems more likely than the official narrative of the order of construction being the opposite.
[PS You were lucky that you only had a fear of bats but not a fear of confined spaces...claustrophobia...since some of those passages seem barely passable.]
Those bats look like Huge Spiders! Ahhhhh
Hello. Could you do a podcast on Taweret please 🙏 Thanks Tony 🇬🇧
Złamana to moja ulubiona Piramida. Licówka robi wrażenie.
Things cannot be more or less unique.
Thanks for commenting. I'm actually aware it's grammatically incorrect :D BUT Egypt features numerous unique pyramids and, in my opinion, this one is "the most" "one of a kind". ;)
Я тоже очень хочу побывать в Египте. А вы планируете поехать на пирамиду Хеопса?
The most important pyramid imo
Here is an absurd question. Do the bats go out every night via the 70-meter tunnel? If they don't, how do they feed and continue living in that room?
Honestly, I don't know, most bats live in the closed corridor of the pyramid, their nest is probably there
See you on an another Ancient Stie. :)
I wonder if the passage was originally designed for some kind of trolley and rope system? Was it smooth originally or were steps always there?
How did I miss this pyramid?
At 17:55, along side of the bat was melted bricks.
Nice video and it may indeed be completely cheesy but you are about the prettiest woman I've seen
thanks, you are too kind😉
Any plans to film inside unas pyramid ?
come to Indonesia!
one day...
Good good good good good good good
Thanks!
Is it possible that the three pyramids built by Sneferu were R&D for the construction of the Great Pyramid?
👍🏼✨
it wasnt a mistake, it was sacred geometry... I have a vid showing it clearly....
🌞
Unless we have a real time machine we have to stick with your videos.
Fine for me!
Great video. Did they really find a batman? Or did I totally misunderstand that?
This pyramid seems more... disconnected (passage-wise) than others...?
You deserve praise just for going to a desert being a redhead. SPF 5000?
😂 😂 😂 😂 Only 50. XD
I’m lost as to what part of these pyramids indicates that there were burials here?
There is nowhere to carry a sarcophagus in to any of the chambers?..
The architects couldn't continue the original incline trajectory?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
✌️❤️😊
Tremendous detailed narration, thank you. Subscribed, and looking forward to seeing your other work.
What if there was an earthquake when you were inside?
I think I would be safer than in a modern building
Beautiful Mystical Video. Thanks Again.
I support true truth truth channels ,,,,,,,,,,
Z drona zdjęcia ścian byłyby ciekawsze. Ale chyba nie wolno. Zakładaj kask bo sobie bańkę potłuczesz!
that tunnel's nearly a slide at that point lol, i mean sure it wasn't meant to be accessible but wow. i was wondering how so many of those blocks are still in place on the lower half even though ones below are gone, only for seconds later you mentioned the tilt! interesting to think about how pyramids were essentially a design/architectural movement
Imagine going down there with just torches.
I just imagined it now😱
@@ancientsitesgirl Is there any chance tellin me what is the music you're using for your vids?
I use a lot of tracks in each video. 😉 I've got them from epidemic sound.
Howdy from Temple, Texas, USA! Great content, thank you!
I just can't understand why the pyramids were built.....the amount of work seems disproportionate to their uses.......................at least the uses that are currently given................
Why does ANYONE put up monuments?
SECOND 😂
oh no Cat Man, you are number 1❤️✌️
@@ancientsitesgirl
OHHHH THANKS!!! That's so sweet of you to say so. 😊🌻🌷🍾💝
Very nice of you to endure those bats to bring us this tour! Thank you.
15:48 Change in angle - the builders suddenly realized it'd need twice the stones to continue steeply? 😏🙃
Sacred Geometry and Technology by Aether.
lololol because red heads have more fun...... and that accent 🥰
Please never use A.I. to narrate your videos, your voice is musical.
Thank you!
