Yeah she did have one, the daughter she had with Siegfried was trampled to death by horses on her daughter husbands order. Which led to Kriemhild going mad a second time.

Love the fact that Schmidt is already an accepted name to call Sieg in the community.
I swear when she talks to Sieg you can physically feel the mother instincts growing exponentially and realizing that her now adopted child not only inherited the worst parts of her husband but also suffered a fate similar to his. Whoever writes these interactions is amazing.
Also, her being a giga Tsundere for Siegfried gives me life.
P.S. I love that when she's asked what she hates she doesn't say Siegfried. She mentions some of his characteristics like leaving her alone just to die because he wanted to be useful and never considering her feelings for the matter. And while she dislikes this there isn't any hate. The people she really hates are her brother and that asshole Hagen who tricked her into killing him.
The writer for 90% of the character interactions in this game is Yuichiro Higashide, just so you know.
He's the writer for Apocrypha's light novels and the Turas Realta manga.

@@Marco-Antonio11 Not........ really no. I'm more referring to the fact that both of them decided to live their lives in the name of "Heroism" without considering other people's feelings really. Sieg being a walking cardboard is only his problem. Siegfried is an actual interesting character study and, in his stories, a proper tragic hero who lived as a tool and died once the people he called "friends" stopped seeing him as useful.

My favorite ones here are her lines for Siegfried and Sieg.
She's being a raging tsundere towards her husband, but loves him enough to still call him Lord Siegfried. He's just too kind for her and his own good.
As for Sieg, it warms my heart to see Kriem act like a worried mother towards him ;)

The only one who could pull the tsudere and yandere tone in one go.
A masterful casting choice there. Can pull off that mixture just right in a way that you can just feel it. Didn't even think about them adding this character to the game someday, but really glad they did.
In Fate, Siegfried's death was his own idea to prevent a war from breaking out (in the real Nibelungenlied he was legitimately betrayed, it wasn't his plan). However he didn't tell Kriemhild that he planned to die, which led to her bloody revenge.
Kriem's profile says that when she finally managed to kill Hagen, Hagen revealed to her that it had all been Siegfried's idea. She spent 20 years of hatred and vengeance trying to kill her husband's killers, only to learn that her husband had asked them to do it in the first place. So she's rather understandably angry at Siegfried about it.
The problem is that it is not mythology accurate. And now we have kriemhyld who is more of a Brynhild. They basically killed originality of the character

Not only that but kriemhyld hates Brynhild of her own myth, the Brynhild of kriemhyld myth is exactly the reason why Siegfried was killed. Kriemhyld wanted to show off before Brynhild, Brynhild decided to take her husband from her and asked her husband to help her kill him because kriemhyld was not polite. And kriemhyld waited for so long to take revenge. By doing this bulls*it with Siegfried knowing it, they literally destroyed the originality of German myths, which give people's a lesson about revenge and betrayal like Nibelungenlied, Volsung saga, Siegfried myth. And make her another Brynhild who wanted to kill her hubby with sword which she never possessed and was never mentioned in her myth. While in the myth she was suffering from rage and pain of losing a loved one, and waited a long twenty years to take revenge, they made her pointless. I pity her for what they'd done. Don't justify people who now add servant without context and add some mechas for coolness. I don't see a lot of really original characters right. Or Morgan gods what they'd done with this beautiful witch, you can say it's a lostbelt, but I will say that they made a very interesting character a simple yandere.

What makes it worse that Siegfried saved Sieg not as a hero but he wants Sieg to have freedom . Meaning Siegfried did something selfish in a very long time.
Other than literally any of the Emiyas, Illya, Chloe, Miyu, Astrea(Luvia), Istreival, Ishtar(Tosaka), and Paravati (good sakura), I feel like Siegfried, Kriemhild, and Sieg has the largest chance to be a family. Siegfried the apologetic and heroic father, Kriemhild being the tsundere and a tad yandere wife, especially seeing that she was happily married in life and doesn't hate-hate Siegfried, and Sieg is the half adopted/related son to the both of them.

It's because fate messed with siegfried's death. In fate his death was planned by himself. So while she still loves him, she is still really pissed about it.
She legitimately resents him for not only killing himself but not telling her, but also still loves him beneath that, as shown in the story. Not gonna go into details since it isn't translated yet tho
She has conflicted feelings for him. She hates him for the whole killing himself thing but also hates herself and on some level still cares about him.
She spent many years (20, I think) trying go get revenge for her husband’s death.
Plotting, killing, hating. Only for one day the person she thought killed her husband tell her that Siegfried let himself be killed.
All those years she wasted her revenge for was for nothing. She is reasonable angry

Sieg must explain how he has died twice already and now is on his third life. Yeah, what joy. Once we get a new event, they need to double up on additional voice lines, especially for Charlemagne who has no lines for the EXTRA originals.
Sieg hasn’t died, he is still waiting for jeanne in reverse side of the world as fafnir. Sieg in fgo is just a copy of him to help fujimaru

She does seem to care about Sieg, though she’s going to be very concerned hearing how many times he nearly died in Apocrypha. Or beating the shit out of him upon learning Siegfried sacrificed himself a second time to save his life.
She’s clearly not too stable towards Sigurd, but he might actually let her do it, so long as he gets to use his Guts skill. That’s how he survives Brynhildr after all.
With Siegfried…she’s really, really, *really, REALLY f***ing PISSED* … but it seems she does still care deep down. His death truly did shatter her to her core, and knowing he asked Hagen to kill him and her revenge was in vain seriously screwed her up inside. She needs help, and as with Baobhan Sith I cannot think of a way to provide it. Her deliberate effort to become an enemy of Proper Human History so as to have Siegfried summoned to oppose her being rendered entirely unnecessary thanks to Siegfried being on Chaldea’s roster (thus we could probably just bring him to her the moment it becomes possible) most likely did not improve matters…
With her tsundere mom instincts awakening around Sieg... I have to wonder how she and Jeanne d'Arc would be like.

It is kind of sad the way she interacted with Siegfried, from what I understand, she still does love him, but his death still haunts her so much, that she despises the idea of heroes, since heroism is what gotten her husband killed in the first place
So she's mad at him for letting himself get killed but she's feeling self conscious about being a berserker and happy to see him again underneath.

If Toole were ever to come to FGO (probably as a Pseudo-Servant), would Kriemhild decide to adopt her as well to watch over Sieg since she is mature and responsible and not self-sacrificing (at least not anymore) and to give him a better example of an "elder sister" than her own "illiterate farmer" daughter-in-law?..
I thought about this since the faces of Kriemhild, Sieg and Toole looked very similar to me and if the 2 homnuculi had same hair or eye color as her one would easily think they are her biological children.
She spent twenty years on revenge, married someone else (Altera) and used the woman as a tool, her brother become collateral damage, and in the end she found out her husband gave up his own life willingly. Of course she's angry.

Avengers in general need a goal to strive towards. In Kriemhild's case, she has none. In the Fate verse, she found out from Hagen that Siegfried planned his own death, meaning everything she did was for nothing. This is why she's a Berserker instead, because she's really really REALLY pissed at Siegfried for keeping this a secret from her while at the same time still loving him in spite of the fact.

In any case, (in fate lore) I heard she became insane (madness enchantment ex) so I can see how she qualifies as a berserker but what I don't understand is her second revenge which was the death of her daughter (which makes me think this qualifies her as an avenger more than a berserker)
Edit: also for the "goal to strive towards" requirement that you have said just now, it will most likely be killing Siegfried or hunt him down at least whenever he manifested just like Sigurd and Brunhilde
