I got this old Swedish Bahco adjustable wrench from my grandfather, needs a makeover for future builds! Satisfying restoration, no music, ASMR friendly.
For it to get like this does it mean all of the chrome plate has come off? If so how long did the finish last without rusting again, I just want to know if it's worth doing.
The adjustable Bahco's don't come chromed just some blackish oxide finish that however is rust resistant to some degree. The tool in this video vill rust like crazy if left outside.

Only one screwdriver was destroyed. I ran out of OJ or it would have been two.
On a tool like that I normally save the patina so I can re-apply it after I’m finished.

restoration tends to be complete dismantling and restoration (as in this case), cleaning is cleaning without dismantling.
