Thank you, Tom! Really helpful video.
Could you please consider making a video about a specific example of a look-ahead schedule which would be detailed out, shown exactly how to name the files and also how the two schedules affect each other? If the short term schedule turns out to be different than what the master schedule is showing, then should you update the master schedule immediately? Or do master schedule updates happen at different times? When you update the master schedule, then that could also affect the short term schedule, it's like a loop, both affect each other. Should the client also be informed about it immediately?

Professor, you are talking about a 4 weeks look ahead schedule but I see you back tracking for the previous 4 weeks. Can you explain that?

Very nice Tutorials. Many Thanks. I have a question regarding the downloads; are they the same files on each video or different for each posted video.

Often different but mostly based on the same project

Hello Dear Tom, I tried to paste in a new blank, but something was wrong. After pasting, I noticed that the information copied from the main schedule did not reflect correctly in the new blank. tasks moved back to the project start date. I could not fix this issue. do you have any suggestions?

I think because you lost the previous link for the first activity, im assuming you are a a pasting to a new file. For a short term schedule you could change the start date to the start date of your short term schedule or in this case you could also place a start constraint on the first activity(even though I don’t like constraints). Hope that helps

I change the start date manually in the new blank project. its work but It would be nice if it changed automatically @@TomStephensontraining .
