Repair is anitger form of sustainability. One should solve own problems and not create a purchase unnessarily. This vid helped to instill confidence that i dont damage more than it deserved. While i did open some screws they didnt come easy but watching the video i estimate where my hammer could diengage and not damage further. I have seen the mechanism but i will hunt for the glue now. In my city , it can be bought from the bag repair guys , if it is hard and not available at your location , i would suggest getting the part fixed with super glue , mine is still working flawlessly.
Kindly see that both lower pins are going inside completely , if not , then oil them lightly , this will mostly resolve the pins getting stuck in the hole.
Upar se jo tabs ko push karna hota hai ussko kisi tool jaise screw driver ke help se ander tak press kariye , agar tab bhi na pin ander jaaye toh , pin ko directly ander karne ke liye ussko hand se ya jo tool apko theek lagta hu usska use kare , agar tab bhi pin ander nhi jaata hai , in that case rusting ka issue hoo sakta hai , isske liye pipe me thoda oil daale aur process fir se repeat kare.
Local market me suitcase vendors jaha ye repair hote hain , waha pata kar ligiye , agar waha available na hoo toh , apko ye part ko repair ( super glue se chipkana padegaa ) agar zada tuta hoo aur plastic ka quality zaada kharab hoo toh epoxy glue ka use kariye.

try using epoxy as glue , and give it sufficient time to cure properly . if this also fails, then replicate the part shape with the help of mseal white , once it hardens it becomes very strong.

Nicely presented. However, in my case, the first slot of the handle works well...but the lower fold getting stuck and doesn't work.....
Kindly see that both lower pins are going inside completely , if not , then oil them lightly , this will mostly resolve the pins getting stuck in the hole.

Use epoxy instead of feviquick it will hold up better..!! Also wrap it in thin threads before applying and soak the threads in epoxy for strength..!
