The rhythm of dingodile attacks with music and the sound effects for the crystal landing still makes this boss so enjoyable to this day, is a shame n sane trilogy didn't replicated that charm
Funny, I just commented the very same thing. The sound design in the original is really bad ass, making an rather easy and short boss battle quite memorable.
*Ding Dong Dangalangalang* It is a good sound. Really makes those crystals sound super heavy. The remake version sound effects are no where near as good.
EatmyPiles Whaaaat? I was good up until Dingo's fight. He sure likes laughing A lot and it seems much harder since he won't fire the flamethrower shot until you run in one direction. Though the crystals sure need to sound louder.
Absolute talent. I only searched this to hear his work. What's really impressive is that the dude was from Texas, and this Australian accent he did in a fucking video game (coz as if he knew at the time what a big deal Crash Bandicoot would become) is pretty much FLAWLESS. I say this as an Aussie myself. A true underrated legend. RIP Hoot

They added it in their last patch of the game, though the double burst fire and trick shot landing at your front was absent in the final part of the boss fight which made it easier
I loved the music and the fact that this song was on Crash Bash as well! I just love Steve Duckworth's work. He really brought the music to the next level. I especially love his work on Spyro a Hero's Tale.
Mario is cool and all, but Crash Bandicoot is seriously the GOAT. The music, gameplay, humour and classic dialogue really brought gaming to a whole ‘nother level.
The music is absolutely badass. In the PS4 remake of the Crash games, I can't wait to hear an enhanced version of the soundtrack (assuming they keep it in),
Love the original Dingodile (voiced by William Hootkins) but in the N Sane Triology I like the newer Dingodile’s laugh and how he laughs as he’s shooting out of his flamethrower 😂 kills me every time. He defeats ya he laughs and dances. The original Dingodile just danced around in victory on that platform whenever or if he beat ya
The Dun Dun DUUUuuuuUUUuuun of the crystals crashing from the cieling has been forever linked to the bgm in my mind. one cannot exist without the other.
Without abilities, I use a similar method of dodging those fireballs. I usually run against crystals but still away from the fireballs (if that makes sense) to help me avoid them before the flamethrower. With all the abilities, it's fun to jump over all the crystals and give Dingodile a thrashing before he gets the chance to attack. =P
Prodigy Of Rock dingodile’s the name and uka uka and cortex gave me orders to bring the crystals to them during the ice ages so gimme the goods and shove off or I’ll roast
Yeah, I heard he died, Apparently, he was also in one of the old star wars films in the 70's. I forget who he played though. I think he played an X Wing pilot. Shame he died though. He fit Dingodile perfectly. His Name is William Hootkins.
Commissioner Gordon: This game is such fun. Tell me, who does the voice for that Dingodile? Other person: Eckhardt, Sir. Commissioner Gordon: Oh My God
that moment when you hit him, but you didn't jump over the ice walls and they start to close your exit..

Dingogile: has ice walls
Me who can glitch over them: I'm about to end this mans entire career
I love how Dingodile humbly accepts defeat
"Ya thrashed me mate, no worries but you'll soon be up against much worse..." -Dingodile
you did this on Tropy's video too, not a bad thing, just saying.
He didn't say this in N Sane Trilogy
@@jamesbartee6184 im sad they didnt include it
He does now

Indeed. The soundtrack wasn't all that good in my opinion for the remake.
Funny, I just commented the very same thing. The sound design in the original is really bad ass, making an rather easy and short boss battle quite memorable.
0:38 - Love that sound effect of the crystals smashing into the ground.
*Dang Dong Dangalangalang!*
0:37 WOW BAM, BOOM, BAM! What a sound!
*Ding Dong Dangalangalang* It is a good sound. Really makes those crystals sound super heavy.
The remake version sound effects are no where near as good.
I agree with you man, when I was playing it on the Remake I felt really disappointed and the boss battle didn't feel as Epic.
EatmyPiles Whaaaat? I was good up until Dingo's fight. He sure likes laughing A lot and it seems much harder since he won't fire the flamethrower shot until you run in one direction. Though the crystals sure need to sound louder.
The foley artists they had for these games were incredible. Surreal sounds
Fun fact:
This guy was voiced by William Hootkins, the same guy as the fat X-wing flyer in Star Wars, Jek Tono Porkins.
He was also Lt Max Eckhardt in Batman 1989.
Shame he left us too soon :/
Absolute talent. I only searched this to hear his work.

A true underrated legend. RIP Hoot
And Lucifer from the Miracle Maker the story of Jesus
Best track of Crash Bandicoot franchise
I like dingodile. He at least has enough sportsmanship to admit when he lost.
And he’s the only villain in the series to officially retire from being evil
Dingodile is an awesome character.
Where are you from? Australia?
He’s now a playable character and non-villian
@@Kourumeme yeah so ruined him
ill say it, and ill say it again ... THIS WAS... a QUALITY GAME
Was? WAS?! It still is, dammit!
Dingodile: Hehehehahaha! Bring out the ps4, I'm gonna make remakes!

Back when Crash was still good. Awesome music and battle!

“Bring out the butter, gonna make toast.” Such a badass.
2016 and still not sure if he's saying "break out the butter" or "bring out the butter"
+PadsterX Pretty sure its ''break out the butter''.
+Padster i thought he said "i got the butter, we're gonna make toast." lol
it's always been "break out the butter"
Here's Carnage It's hard to tell since he has an australian accent. (no offense)
Padster ikr
"Break out the buttah.. gonna make toast" Still my favorite boss line.
Idk why I was obsessed with this villain as a kid. Like I wanted to know more about his story 😂
The remake's version of this has some pretty awesome music, but it's missing the post defeat dialogue...

I am definitely missing DingoDile's original voice actor! He did an amazing job voicing him!
Mario is cool and all, but Crash Bandicoot is seriously the GOAT. The music, gameplay, humour and classic dialogue really brought gaming to a whole ‘nother level.
Super Mario 64 was a great introduction of 3D platformers in gaming, but Crash Bandicoot and Spyro took 3D platforming to a new level.
"Bring out the butter I'm gonna make toast!" I love this phrase :D
Literally have been contemplating on making this phrase a tattoo
1998: Right..now you got em done it! Them crystals are mine..
2020: *C'MON DOWN TO DINGOS DINER*
Best sound design also ! Music + Sound effects are just perfect
Talented foley artist they had forsure
God I miss this game. Life was so simple back then.
The sound effects in his boss battle are awesome.

What?
Ah, I kind of get what you are saying. And to me, this track does stick out among the rest.
the remake ost is good but not as good as the old one..
ñp kl I personally really like the remix, but to be fair, Mancell's original OST is hard to replicate when it comes to original instruments.
@@Mugicol45 What are you talking about? The remake is a banger. The old version was too calm.
I remember getting blown up by not getting away in time. I was pissed! DX
13 people got made into toast
16 now. Dingodile sure is at it.
Now 26 have turned into vegemite toast.
A slide jump will enable you to jump higher than the crystals. So this boss can be done in less than a minute

The penguin's revenge at the end. Iconic
My first Crash game.
LOOOOOVE how his gun sounds go right along with the song's beat.
You timed the final explosion with the crescendo in the music perfectly.

How can people dislike this I dont know, its brilliant!

The Dun Dun DUUUuuuuUUUuuun of the crystals crashing from the cieling has been forever linked to the bgm in my mind. one cannot exist without the other.
I think Dingodile's father was a dingo and his mother was a crocodile.
I thought Cortex created him.
UAHUAHUAHUAHUHAHAHAUHAHUHA
Classic "do it three times to win" bosses :D
Definitely my favorite boss in Crash Bandicoot Warped.
Just watched a video of this fight in the remaster and wow, the sound design is sooo much better in the original.
Funny how, in the cutscenes before the boss Dingodile's face looks completely different to what it looks like in battle. XD
That's Porkins as Dingodile.
I came here for the same reason, weird coincidence
I would keep replaying this boss just for the music
I laughed really hard when the penguin beat him up
*Penguin Yay 1!*
Did they ever get the toast?!?

Dingodile is badass. It's the real enemy boss.
I would love to see Ripper Roo in one of those calls or whatever it is, seeing how he just laughs and doesn't speak it seems like it'd be hilarious.

I loved this series. But the minute Crash started talking and was redesigned, I gave up on it. I grew up on this and they fuck it up.
+GalenNight Jason Rubin, co-founder of Naughty Dog, said once in an interview that he wasn't too happy with how the series ended up either.
No they did not you dodo brain! Naughty Dog is done with Crash Bandicoot now.
The music and all the sound effects are so gloriuos
Quite the combination of a dingo and crocodile together. Also i remember this tune is crash bash the dash racing game.🎉🎉
OH GOD his fireballs are going with the beat! (breaks out a dance!)
The first time time I versed this boss, I had no idea what to do, i was literally there for hours just making him destroy all of his crystals.
