I recently bought a Launchkey MK3 49 and yesterday I really started making beats and copying famous songs. Music production used to be intimidating for me for the last 15 years or so that I've tried getting into it but gave up because I couldn't figure it out. It all seems super easy now, so thanks!
Time is a big key, my guy. In time you'll be able to know a ballpark key by ear. It just takes a bunch of time and epiphanies lol. honestly speaking from someone whose been into music since I was in grade school

Did you make your mastering chain? Or is there like a good place to download templates for that kind of thing? (Pretty new to beat making so my mastering is still garb, ps love ur vids :P)
Damn. I DREAM about having this kinda knowledge. Everytime I open Ableton and/or turn on my Launchkey Mini, I just think it would be easier learning Braille. Or sorcery. Or speaking Swahili...
I think he's using splice? It's a subscription based service with a ton of samples and plugins for $10 a month. You get to keep any samples you downloaded even after your subscription ended.
