For this video, the subject is going to continue to be news when the people involved are not speaking out about it. And for those who are speaking out about it who were involved, many thanks. I was a subscriber of the M/Y Loon channel but no more. I did that because of the lack of news coming directly from there and now that they have made it private, even more so to not to subscribe. The host of the channel needs to come forth with some statement. This was a serious incident with the tender. I wish for everyone injured to have full recovery. 🤗 Thank you for the update.
Loon was due for some sort of a required shipyard as part of her classification In January. Can’t go back and find the video where that was discussed to check. I imagine that has something to do with their current position.

I stopped watching when they fired their South African social media/camera guy. It became obvious then that the captain is an idiot dictator.
Yeah the guy literally dates the purser who used to be head stew even though I’m pretty he wouldn’t allow fraternization amongst the other crew
They were always due back to palm beach in January for a large shipyard service on the engines. Don't know about the NYE charter though.

A few more details , mostly from the crew perspective as well as from the Captains . I enjoy the attempts at honest objectivity concerning a bad situation . I’ve been a subscriber to Loons YT channel for awhile & it is refreshing to hear the crews version. Often the crews are portrayed as ambivalent about different crimes being committed by guests while at sea , but this situation is showing the crew to be adhering to strict moral standards about the reporting irreggardless of pressure that they may be feeling from the management company.
If you actually followed the Loon account... A new crew chef was already up for grabs ! Chef Dean left after....which is sad because he's an amazing chef, has an amazing youtube channel himself. Most the crew have been on Loon for many years and Dean has been with the Loon program for many years ! All yachts have crew turn overs !! All the crew loved working on Loon and suddenly they turn coats after an accident! Which is sad !
Nina has been sharing responsibilities with Dean for ages.
I heard Paul Clarke has opened a Tender driving school in France.

Have followed the Loon channel since it started-wonder if Capt. Paul was driving and if he imbibed? Cardinal sin in boating and hope this wasn’t the case.
@@rkspdxunfortunately from what I heard he was driving Reel Wild after a crew party ashore. They'd all been drinking that included Paul.
The crewmember was Natalia who was injured, let's hope she is ok and makes a full recovery from her injuries. .
I am surprised the owners let the crew post their boats activities on You Tube. I fly a private jet for someone that also owned a big yacht. All of his employees signed an NDA agreeing not to share info pictures videos etc of his assets on social media.
Maybe owners see it as free advertising for their $560k/week service
Loon takes on multiple charters every year so it is more of a business than a private yacht. Social media is a means they use to promote and publicize their services.
It's a party barge, not a yatch. Guess it's cheaper than advertising like real yatchs do. But who would take that scow seriously? Just look at how it's run. Pitiful ..

Stop reposting. This is the video you put up last week. If you have nothing new leave it alone. If you have something new share it. But you keep reposting these videos with new headlines and it's starting to get frustrating and you're not gonna do your channel any good if you don't knock it off. There is a lot of people very interested in what is happening on this particular charter boat and there's very little information. So when we see something that appears to have new information and then we waste 3 minutes before we realize it's the exact same video we watched last week just being reposted with a new headline it's irritating.
Multiple channels, same content... same guy, All of them beached on the rocks until more info on Loon comes out.
The people overseeing the Loon TH-cam account have deleted every single video. But you can still buy a few pieces of their clothing!

the crew chef is a youtube channel from the Loon's crew chef.
Lina and Dean are/were the executive chefs aboard Loon. They work alternating 6 week shifts. Lina had just left Loon on the start of her 6 weeks off.

She is halfway through her rostered leave and will be returning in February according to a post of hers on her account.

So I'm still getting stuff from Loom I'm still getting stuff from the head chef on loom I don't know how far back it is because you can never tell on the algorithm if it's right then and there or if it's actually a couple months ago

Lots of speculation but nobody is really talking. Supposedly they were returning to Loon after a Christmas PARTY on St. Barth's. If everyone is on the boat, I believe the Captain is responsible, but I'm not an expert on maritime law. Why did it go onto the rocks? They were coming back from a PARTY. I know I could not drive a tender well after a PARTY.
Further speculation is that the Yacht Captain was driving the boat and had been drinking. He has since been let go and thats why there is no social media on loon now since that was all his side gig.

What's going on with MY Loon's other chef, Mimi? We haven't seen her post a video since this happened.
Do you mean Lina? She has her own YT channel called the Crew Chef. She and Dean were on an alternating 6 week chef schedule. Lina left Loon before the crash on her standard rotation. She confirmed in comments on her channel that she is okay. That is all she posted in reference on YT.

Think you should wait for the investigation to conclude before making assumptions sounds like someone with a grudge and there could end up being consequences you might get a knock at your door and be charged for making false accusations let the authorities deal with this 👮🏼♀️👷🏼♂️
We can see what is happening with this boat and make some very educated guesses as to what is going on. Here's what we do know for a fact.
11 people were on board. All 11 people were subjected to a drug and alcohol test and one of the people refused to take it.
1 person is severely injured and was airlifted to Florida.
The yacht has canceled its charters and has relocated first to Saint Martin and now to Fort Lauderdale. The crew section on the official website has been removed. The meet the captain feature on the website has been removed. All the social media footprint that the captain had has been deleted. The yacht is not doing charters right in the middle of the season for the caribbean. Crew on board reported that the captain was the one driving the tender.
The head chef quit and he said it had to do with the accident. He also said several other people had left as well.
What would cause them to cancel their charters.....
Can't rent a charter if you don't have a captain and if the captain refused the blood and alcohol test he would immediately lose his licenses....... Perhaps that's why the boat is now in Florida and is not working. That might be the reason why they canceled their charters. It might also be the reason why the company is purging any reference to the crew off of their sites.
It might also have something to do with the complete and total disappearance of this crew from the internet over the last 3 weeks.... Something that has never happened before.......
And the company is remaining silent. As long as the company remains silent about this people are going to speculate and we do have enough information to make educated guesses as to what is going on behind the scenes.

It means to me that no one is talking and there is no new news. I will keep hoping to get more information specifically on the female crew member that was airlifted to the hospital. I’ll rewatching until. Something new appears. Cold up here in Canada eh! 🇨🇦
