they lost their drummer in 2009, the LBC concert of 2008 is in my opinion thee best concert ever played by any rock/metal band....they were in their prime then, and the band was never the same after we lost jimmy "the rev" sullivan - their drummer and childhood friend....still love them and im glad they are still writing and playing, but their 2008 LBC concert is immortal in my eyes and i can watch it forever lol
I know you guys love gear. The guitar Syn plays is a custom Schecter with a sustaniac pickup. It's basically identical to the Schecter Hellraiser C-1. The cool thing about this particular one is it says REV on the inlays when it typically says SYN. The Rev was their drummer & childhood best friend who passed away. They dedicated this song to him hence the little montage near the end. You guys should really look more into Syn's gear bc it's pretty cool. He has his own amp called Hellwin that he developed with Schecter & lately on their current tour he's been playing this really cool headless guitar. Even Zacky, the lefty rhythm guitarist, has some cool stuff
Check out something from their Live in the LBC concert! Bat Country would be a good place to start. As far as their peak it would probably be 2005-2013 but you could argue that it’s now considering they headline every large festival and sell out arenas. They’re currently going around Europe headlining all the biggest rock festivals like Download, Hellfest, Graspop, etc playing for crowds of 70,000 plus. But they’ve been headlining those festivals for about 10 years now.

RIP Rev! We still cry watching this.
It's for their Drummer The Rev who sadly passed away.

“Save Me” from A7X is amazing. You should take a look at it. I think you would like it.
If you play the video all the way to the end you will see the last shot of Jimmy's drum set in honor of him.
